Me and Ahsoka arrived back in our room at the temple. It was still daylight and looked as if it was about midday.
"Let's go to the council first." Ahsoka said as she began to walk unaided to the door, although she stumbled a little as she did so and leant against the wall.
"Ahsoka, you alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, I, I'm fine." She said as she forced herself to stand up.
"Are you sure?" I asked as I walked up to her. She had one hand hard pressed against her right ribs clutching it gently. "Does your side hurt?" I asked.
"Yeah, a little." She replied.
"Let me see." I asked. She took her hands off of her ribs and let me look. I couldn't see what had happened, so I slowly rubbed it. As soon as my hand touched her rib though, she yelped and jolted away from my hand. "That's not right. You've probably got a broken rib." I said.
"Hopefully that's as bad as it gets." She said as she gently placed her hand back onto her side.
"Can you properly walk?" I asked.
"I, no." Ahsoka replied as she took another unaided step and fell into me as she did so, causing her to whimper and screw her eyes up.
"Come here, let's get you to the med bay." I said as I slowly and gently picked her small body up. She was whimpering a tiny bit as I picked her up but after that she was mostly fine, spending most of the journey to the med bay asleep in my arms. She must've been knackered. She'd gone from training people she didn't like for a few hours to believing that her boyfriend had died, to slaughtering droids and exhausting herself, to having to deal with Lux again to killing one of the most powerful demons to ever exist, and the fact that she was still actually awake afterwards was a suprise.
We soon arrived at the med bay. Upon entering it, I saw Barriss and her master getting themselves patched up. There were a few others as well but I didn't know them.
I walked away from Barris and placed Ahsoka down on a free bed. She grumbled a little and turned to face me.
"What happened?" She asked.
"What do you remember?" I asked.
"You picked me up and said to get me here." She replied.
I sighed as I fussed Ahsoka's head. "Well, I took you here, just you fell asleep along the way."
Ahsoka smiled before turning to the medical droid which had just appeared.
"Hello, what is the problem?" He asked.
"Ahsoka's ribs hurt a lot when touched." I replied.
"Where on her ribs?"
"Just down here." I said as I hovered my finger over where I touched her ribs earlier and she yelped.
The droid got a scanner out and began to scan it. After a second, he stopped scanning and looked up at me.
"One of the ribs has been broken, but in an unusual way."
"How so?" I asked.
"It has cracked like a normal rib but the inside of it has become heavily inflamed in a way I haven't seen before."
I looked down at Ahsoka who currently looked very worried.
"Vega, scan the rib." I said.
"That inflammation is a demonic corruption. If left untreated, it could turn Ahsoka into a demon. The rib and surrounding tissue must be removed immediately to ensure that no further damage occurs."
I looked over at the droid.
"You heard him, get that rib out!" I yelled.
The droid began to prepare for the operation as two clone medics ran over.
"What's happening?" One asked.
"You're removing one of her ribs. Don't ask why, just do it." I said.
"Which one?"
Vega showed a hologram of her torso and highlighted which rib and how much needed to be removed. The clones instantly got to work on the operation.
I held Ahsoka's hand and reassured her that everything would be ok but after a minute or two, they had to put her under, so she was asleep again.
The 3 then began to remove the rib with Vega constantly updating them and me on the situation.
The clones decided that it would be better to take out more now and not have to do any later than not. Luckily, it was just internal stuff which needed removing due to the nature of demonic corruption so she didn't need any new flesh to fill in gaps at the surface.
After just a couple of minutes, the clones had cut the rib and removed it, and had now begun to patch her up.
They cauterized the wound and cleaned it up before putting a moulded metal rib in which Vega had 3d modelled and printed for them. They sealed the new rib in before stitching her wound back up and finishing the operation.
"Is she ok?" I asked.
"Yes. The rib has been removed and replaced and she is still in a stable condition." The clone said.
"What about the demonic corruption?" I asked.
"The clones were quick enough and took enough out so that there is no more demonic corruption inside of her body."
I sighed a sigh of relief and laid back in my chair.
"Sir, if you don't mind us asking but, how did she get that demonic corruption?" A clone asked.
"We were fighting one of the most powerful demons known. I alone was fighting it but it ripped me through hell to where Ahsoka was so we had to fight it there instead. It got Maykr buffed or something which sent out a massive shockwave which is probably what caused the corruption to occur in the first place."
The clones nodded before walking off and out of the med bay.
I sat next to Ahsoka who was still asleep with her ECG still beeping away, giving me a massive relief.
I sat next to her with my hand in hers for at least a few hours until she finally woke up. She grumbled a little before slowly opening her eyes and looking at me.
"What happened?" She asked as she tightened her grip on my hand.
"The operation is complete and successful. They took the rib out and replaced it with a metal one." I said.
Ahsoka looked down at the rib which was replaced and tapped it a few times, only to find that it felt a lot harder.
"Oh yeah, I can tell." She replied.
I smiled at her and fussed her head.
"How are you feeling?" I asked.
"I'm, ok. Better thanks to you, but I don't know if I can walk." She said.
"Wanna try?" I asked.
Ahsoka swung her legs over the edge of the bed and put her feet onto the floor before slowly standing up.
"Well I can stand, so that's a start."
"Can you walk though?" I asked.
She took a few steps forward by herself before turning back to me.
"I can walk, just I'm very tired." She said.
"Well come on then, the council wants to talk to us. You can sit down there if you want." I said.
Ahsoka smiled at me before we both made our way to the council chambers.
Upon getting there, the guards stopped us.
"Reason for access?" They asked.
"The council would like to speak to us." I said.
The guards stepped aside and let us both in because they knew that I was a part time council member.
We stepped into the middle of the room and looked at all of the council members, some of whom were here but others were just holograms.
"Greetings, Padawans." Yoda said.
"Greetings, Master Yoda." Ahsoka replied.
"We would like to know what happened to you two on Onderon." Mace Windu said.
"Ok. The whole thing?" I asked.
"The whole story."
"Ok." I said. "We got there and discussed with Steela what to do. We decided to split up into groups and train the soldiers in those groups. Me and Ahsoka got put with a good group, other than this ex Separatist politician Lux Bonteri. Me and him, well, don't get along, at all. We met on Carlac when I was undercover with Deathwatch. He basically kidnapped Ahsoka and forced her to go along with his plan, doing romantic stuff and borderline sexual and abusive stuff whenever he could. I haven't seen him until just then and he continued to abuse Ahsoka, telling her all of the sexual stuff which he said he'd do to her when I eventually leave her or telling me that she doesn't love me, all of which is false and only so much of it I could take. I went to lash out on him but Ahsoka stopped me from doing so."
"What about after the training?" Mace asked.
"After the training, we were going to use some reprogrammed battle droids to set up some skirmishes but the Separatists sent a battalion of droids and some tanks over to us to try and kill us. Me, Obi Wan and Ahsoka went to go destroy them and the droids got destroyed, but not without me taking a tank round to the chest. As Vega realised that my vitals were dropping, he tethered me back to Dr Hayden's base to heal, where the only way I could get back within about a week was to tear the core from the Cyberdemon, which would refuel Vega and take me to wherever I wanted, but it would bring the Cyberdemon with me. Hayden decided to do so and I killed the Cyberdemon and ripped myself back to Onderon, but I brought the now resurrected Cyberdemon with me. Me and Ahsoka proceeded to kill it, but not without us both getting hurt quite badly and Ahsoka getting a demonically corrupted rib, which has now been healed."
"What about this tyrant that was called to your location?" Windu asked again.
"Lux began to mock me saying how I couldn't handle Ahsoka and that he could've killed the Cyberdemon with ease, and he wasn't joking, he genuinely thought he could beat it, so I asked Steela if she said that she thinks her men can beat it, and she said yes, even after I told her how much punishment it took from my weapons. I asked if she wanted to try it, to which she said yes, so I called Hayden and told him to tear one over."
"Why did you do that?! You could've gotten people killed!" Ki-Adi Mundi shouted.
"You see this is why I'm on the council when it comes to demons. The tyrant is a UAC modified super heavy demon, meaning it will only go for small argent sources if there are no bigger argent sources to go for, but I'm literally the biggest source of Argent outside of the well and the Argent tower so it will only go for me until either I'm dead, it's dead, or it's too far away to bother, so I called one in. Steela's troops were in position and so we waited for the thing to arrive, which it soon did. Steela's troops began to fire with everything they had into the back of the tyrant as I distracted it in the open, meaning that it wouldn't hit anything. They shot at it for a good few minutes, not damaging the thing at all before I told them all to stop, which they did. I then killed the thing in about 10 seconds flat, showing them how little damage they did compared to me, before Obi Wan told me to come back here and talk to you guys."
All of the Jedi council members looked deep in thought.
"The dark side, control you, did it?" Yoda asked.
"It always does, but Ahsoka is always there to stop it from consuming me, but she was unconscious, and Lux was making me angry, so I couldn't not retaliate." I said.
"Control your anger, can you?" Yoda asked.
"I can, as long as it isn't Ahsoka or my past getting insulted, but because Ahsoka was being insulted and she couldn't defend herself, I defended her in the way I do best, with violence, threats and force."
Yoda nodded.
"Meditate on this, you must. Find peace with yourself, you will."
"I'm never going to find peace until every demon is dead." I said. "They, I've come so far now that I can't just stop. Before I went to hell, there were way more demons. Millions of different species and types, most of which I drove to extinction. Only the strongest survived, but I am slowly whittling down their numbers. Soon, there will not be any left, whether the rest of you are alive to see it or not, I cannot be sure, but I know that I will only find peace once there are no demons left and argent is destroyed forever." I said.
"But, isn't argent what makes you powerful?" Ahsoka asked.
"Yes, but it makes anybody who can take it powerful, too powerful. If it remains in this realm, thousands will die seeking power with it and billions more will die if one can control it. I can control it, which is why I must destroy it before somebody else can control it."
Ahsoka sighed and looked down at the floor.
"Go, you two must. Meditate on this in the morning, you shall." Yoda said.
"Yes, Master Yoda." Ahsoka said before taking my hand and leading me out of the council chamber.
We didn't say anything on the way, mainly because Ahsoka spent half of it yawning and the other half trying to stay awake.
Soon, we got back to our room. The first thing Ahsoka did was fall face first onto the bed as I shut and locked the door.
"Tired?" I asked.
"Yes." Ahsoka replied.
I took my suit off as Ahsoka forced herself to take her clothes off as well. Soon, we were both sat in bed next to each other in just our pants and in Ahsoka's case, a bra as well.
Ahsoka fell into my shoulder and brought her hands up to my chest. She shut her eyes and took a deep breath in and out before going slightly limp.
I laid myself down with Ahsoka still in my arms and held her body closer to mine.
"Goodnight Ahsoka, I love you." I said as I gave her a deep, passionate kiss on the forehead.
"I love you too." Ahsoka mumbled as she fell asleep.
