Scarlett's POV

I could feel sweat dripping down my face and onto the pillow my head was rested upon. Whatever was in my stomach didn't agree with my body. My hands felt shaky and my head was throbbing to the extent I couldn't even bare to bring my eyes open. I took several deep breaths, trying to recall the events of last night but failed miserably. This didn't feel like a hangover or anything close, this felt worse. The harder I squeezed my eyes shut the more intense the pain got. There weren't a lot of options to choose from right now; stay in bed and suffer or get out of bed and suffer. I could hear someone talking in another room, they were behind a closed door but their voice ripped through my ear drums and caused me to flinch. I took an exasperated breath before swinging my legs over the side of the bed, I still didn't open my eyes but with the amount of dizziness I felt I wasn't sure I wanted to. My hand self-consciously rubbed my forehead but the pain didn't subside. Maybe this was a hangover and I had drunk a ridiculous amount. My toes patted the floor before I gained enough strength to place all my weight on my feet. I swayed a bit as I stood up but I managed to balance. I peeled my eyes open, the bright sunlight shining through the blinds didn't cause any more obvious pain, surprisingly. I blinked a couple times but felt nothing new. I breathed out deeply one last time before dragging my feet slowly towards the door. The bedroom door felt like it was light years away, by the time I reached it I was utterly exhausted. I grabbed hold of the door handle, using it to help me steady myself but it didn't last long. Before I even had a chance to open the door my face was in contact with the wood and then suddenly the cold, tiled floor.

"Fuck." I mumbled as I rubbed the patch on my head where it hit the ground.

"Shit, Scarlett, are you okay?" Louis' panicked voice rang through my ears.

"I will be soon, it's a little early right now."

"It's three in the afternoon."

"W-what?" I stuttered as my eyes found his. He rolled his eyes back at me before helping my frail body in a vertical position again.

"You've been sleeping all day."

"Oh. How much did I drink last night?"

"You only drank water." He stated, he sounded annoyed and not his happy, chirpy self which was slightly worrying.

"I don't understand."

"Yeah, well neither do I." He snarled before storming out.

"Where are you going?" I called back to him, cringing at the volume of my voice.

"I have a meeting with the boys and management." He spoke appearing back in the room, slipping his shoes on and gripping his phone tightly in one hand.

"Oh right."

"And I'm running almost an hour late." He muttered still in a pissed off tone.

"Why?" I asked, but I really wish I hadn't.

"Because I was worried sick about you, I couldn't leave you. You didn't drink last night and you wouldn't even wake up this morning. What the heck am I supposed to think?!" He retorted practically shouting.

"I don't know. I'm sorry. I don't know what's going on either." I spoke barely above a whisper.

"I made you breakfast, it's probably cold now but it's better than nothing."

"Thanks."

"Bye."

"Love you." I replied as I watched him walk out of the bedroom.

"That's nice." He mumbled before he was gone. I heard the front door slam shut and groaned loudly.

"That's nice?!" I repeated. "That's nice?!" What the heck is that supposed to mean? Had I done something really bad last night which has upset him? Right now time travel would be useful, I needed to know what happened.

I pushed the stone cold beans around the plate, not even attempting to eat them, I was too busy thinking, well trying to think. The loud music coming from Laura's room was extremely distracting. I picked up my phone which was lying lifeless on the counter next to me and scanned through my messages. Nothing new or interesting was displayed. I took a gander at my contacts and once again nothing new appeared, I wasn't expecting any new contacts but if there was a guy's number in there it might explain something but nothing. I flicked back my messages and typed one out;

'Turn your bloody music down'

I sent it to Laura and waited for any sort of response.

You're alive I see, Louis' was worried and since you asked so nicely...no, no I won't.'

I don't know why I was expecting anything less from my own sister, I rolled my eyes as her music continued to seep through into the rest of the apartment. The water in the glass gripped in my hand was shaking from the vibrations, I brought it to my mouth, careful not to smash it into my teeth. I took a couple more sips before retreating to the sofa to laze around for a while, while my head repaired itself.

Several hours later and my hands were still fairly shaky, I tried gripping my phone tightly in my hand but I had dropped it several times in the last couple of minutes. Luckily, I was sat on the sofa so it fell directly onto a cushion. Laura's music had subsided and the apartment was eerily quiet. I took a deep breath before trying to dial the familiar number on my phone. I knew the number by heart, not by choice if I'm honest, more of a convenience. I managed to type the numbers in speedily but correctly and without dropping the phone this time. I scanned over the numbers once more before pressing the call button. His name flashed on the screen as soon as the phone recognised the number I was ringing. His voice was quick to fill my ear, he sounded happy, too happy for my liking.

"Hey Scarlett, how are you?" He chuckled oddly.

"Uh, I'm okay, I guess." I mumbled.

"Something up?"

"Damian, did I do something bad last night?" I asked, cutting straight to it.

"What makes you say that?"

"Louis' slightly angry at me and I have no idea why."

"Do you remember any of last night?"

"Not really. I sort of remember dancing around but very vaguely."

"You sure were enjoying that dance floor last night, pretty sure you scared everyone else away with your killer moves." He laughed once again.

"Oh." I muttered, I couldn't believe I had done that, I wouldn't normally do that. I don't particularly like dancing, let alone in front of a room full of people I don't even know. "Did I drink alcohol last night?"

"Not that I remember, pretty sure you were drinking water almost all night. Why?"

"Hmm, do you think my drink could have been spiked or something?"

"What? That's crazy!" He replied in a joking manner.

"No, I'm serious. I hardly remember last night and I feel like I've got the hang over from hell, this isn't normal."

"Scarlett, there was strict security last night at the party and Louis pretty much held your drink all night so it's practically impossible."

"I don't understand!" I groaned whilst I squeezed my eyes together, debating whether to rip my hair out from all this frustration.

"Well you gave a killer performance to say the least, at least that went okay."

"I don't even remember that properly, one of the biggest performances of my life and I barely remember that."

"Luckily you can watch it back on the internet, technology is a marvellous thing."

"Damian!"

"Sorry, but there really isn't anything I can do."

"Something happened last night and I need explanations. All I remember is waiting backstage with you and then I was about to go on stage when you-" I cut myself off as reality hit me in the face. My mouth formed a small 'o' shape as my eyes grew wide. "Damian, what did you give me before I went on stage?" I asked sternly.

"What? I never gave you anything." He laughed as he replied.

"Dam-"

"Gotta go Scar, there's hair to style and faces to glam up!"

"But-" Before I could even get another word in the line was already dead. I tried to ring back straight away but it went straight to voicemail. "Bugger." I muttered thinking I was alone.

"Who was that?"

"Bloody hell Louis!" I shouted, clasping onto my pounding chest. "I didn't even hear you come in." I added, narrowing my eyes at him.

"You were on the phone." He stated as he took a seat on the sofa next to me. "Who were you on the phone to?"

"Damian." I grumbled but the corners of my mouth slowly started to point upwards as Louis began tickling my feet which were resting on his lap.

"What was he saying?"

"He was laughing at me, he was laughing because I can't remember last night and I have no idea why." I pouted as tears threatened to fall from my eyes. My lips were trembling as the tears graced my waterline. They didn't fall, but they lingered there until they began to slowly disappear again. I hadn't cried in so long, I didn't like the feel of the tears in my eyes, they stung, but I couldn't help it. I couldn't put my finger on what happened last night, what happened to my body and why everyone was annoyed at me.

"Don't cry baby." He hushed, pulling my whole body close to his so he could cradle me in his arms. I took a shaky breath before I attempted to speak again.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for last night and ruining it for everyone."

"You didn't ruin it Scar, in fact you made it a pretty entertaining night."

"So why are you angry at me?" I questioned as my eyes locked onto his.

"I'm not angry, I was worried. I didn't know what to do, I was gonna call an ambulance if you didn't wake up in the next hour."

"I love you." I simply replied.

"I love you too." He spoke as his lips graced my forehead.

"So no one hates me or anything?"

"No, of course not. However, the boys weren't too pleased that I was several hours late this morning."

"Sorry about that, you should have just gone."

"Hey hey, you're more important to me than one silly little meeting. I was just stressing out this morning." He grinned making my heart melt.

"You look like a cute little puppy when you do that." I grinned.

"What? This?" He replied crossing his eyes over and sticking his tongue out.

"Yeah...not quite." I chuckled.

"Forget last night, it's over now, you sang great and we'll just move on." He responded turning the conversation back around.

"I know, but I really want to know wh-"

"Forget it." He hushed, before placing his finger on top of my lips. I rolled my eyes playfully before removing his finger. He quickly replaced his finger with his lips, letting them lingering on mine for a few seconds.

"Already forgotten." I spoke as we parted for a small amount of time. Our foreheads were resting against each other whilst we gazed into each other's eyes. I always thought it was silly to say you were still truly, madly, deeply in love with the same person after seeing them every day but it was true, every day was different. Every new day brings new emotions and feelings and my love for Louis seems to grow and grow despite me thinking it's not possible. The kisses never feel the same; they just get better and better.

"Good." He spoke in a deep, husky voice which was very desirable for a young female to hear. I bit my lip to stop any noises escaping. Louis could see what effect it had on me and his mouth formed a small smirk. My teeth let go of my lip as his landed on mine, rougher than before this time. Our lips parted and his tongue tangled with mine. I swiftly moved my body so I was straddling him, making the moment more intimate. Neither of us were paying attention to anything besides our roaming hands and wrestling tongues. My fingers became tangled in his hair, gently pulling it as he let out small moans making me a smile into the embrace. One of his hands was wrapped around my back, pulling me closer to him, the other was on the side of my face, closing the gap between our lips. We reluctantly broke away as we both gasped for air. As Louis caught his breath back, I moved my head towards his neck and began gently nibbling on his skin. I could tell from the sounds escaping his lips he was enjoying it. I moved my lips up and down his neck, gently gliding my tongue over his skin every so often. I bit down slightly harder and sucked a little on his skin, hoping to leave a mark. His breath hitched slightly before gently pulling my head away from his skin. His small smirk grew as our eyes met again. Before I could acknowledge what was going to happen next he flipped me off of him and placed me on the sofa so I was lying down, now his body towered over mine. As he crawled towards my face he licked his lips seductively before crashing them against mine again. His hands were roaming again but this time they were tugging at the bottom of my shirt. I didn't have chance to stop him and my shirt was already strewn across the floor. It didn't take me long to pull his off either. His lips slowly started to leave a trail of kisses down my body, as he approached the waistband of my sweatpants which I had thrown on this morning. He was playing the tease as he brought his lips back to mine. Our half naked bodies were very close, our bare skin graced each other and sent tingles, good tingles down my spine. His hand reached around my back, trying to unbuckle my bra but his fingers were trying to rush it and he failed which made me laugh ever so slightly. His lips traced my neck and gently touched my ear, I couldn't help but let a small pant leave my mouth. He whispered words into my ear, causing the hairs on my arm to stand up on end. My forehead met his again when I went to reply.

"In my purse, on the counter." I whispered very gently before his lips met mine again for a brief moment. He winked seductively before he climbed off and jogged towards the counter. My fingers reached for my neck and gently stroked the place which had just occupied his lips. The skin was still sensitive to touch and made me smile slightly. I was waiting for Louis to come back, he shouldn't have been that long. All he had to do was get it out of my purse and we could have got straight back to business. I waited a couple more seconds before sitting up straight and peered over towards the kitchen counter. My eyes focused on Louis as he was holding something up in front of his face. He noticed me staring at him and his eyes pierced through mine, which set my heart pounding again and not in a good way.

"Scarlett, what are these?!" He shouted whilst he stomped over towards the sofa. I was still trying to recognise what was in his hand but I had never seen whatever it was before.

"What." I stumbled out. "What is it?"

"Don't play that with me!"

"Louis, what the actual fuck!?" I shouted this time, standing up, although he still towered way above me.

"You tell me!" He growled before throwing something at my half naked body. Whatever it was slapped my body and fell to the floor. I swiftly picked up the object and studied it intensely. I had never seen it before.

"Louis, these aren't mine!" I howled as I watched him throw on his shirt and stomp towards the front door.

"Save it Scarlett! Just tell the truth!"

"I am!" I screamed back but the only response was his sarcastic laugh. "Where are you going?" I asked in a slightly lower tone as he swung the door open.

"I'm gonna stay with Harry tonight, I think we need some space." He concluded before the door slammed shut.

"Fuck." I muttered. Just when I thought everything was back to normal. I read over the bottle of the tablets in my hand again, the label wasn't in English but I'm pretty sure they weren't legal. I had no idea what they were, who's they were or how they ended up in my purse.

"What's up with you?" Laura spoke causing me to jump.

"Why does everyone creep up on me?" I groaned in an annoyed voice.

"What's up with you?"

"Louis."

"Don't blame him."

"Laura, lay off it."

"No. what are those?"

"I don't know. Where are you going?" I narrowed my eyes at her as she walked towards the door with a bag, of what I presumed was clothes in her hand.

"I'm staying with Niall tonight, see you tomorrow." She replied with the door once again slamming shut.

"A night to myself, great." I muttered before sinking down into the sofa. I threw the bottle of pills at the corner of the room before grabbing my shirt and pulling it back over my head. A night of crappy reality TV and junk food for me it was, maybe some people will be a little more understanding tomorrow. I switched my phone off, I wanted some alone time. I settled comfortably into the sofa and switched the TV on, here's to a night of fun.
