Toby's POV:
I ditched the rest of the day and texted Caleb to tell everyone else wasn't feeling well. Kati seemed nice and all. Maybe she's the girl I could move on with. Since Spencer an I are history as of now. But I think I should get to know her before making a move. This is all so messed up.
Spencer's POV:
"Spencer! Sweetie there's a letter here for you!" My mom yelled from down stairs.
"We'll be right there Mrs. Hastings." Zenya said painting her pinky toe a bright pink.
"That's really pretty."
"Hmm."
"Oh, thanks. Don't you just love finding knew places to wear jewelry?" She smiled wiggling her toe letting the sapphire ring glisten is the light.
"Spencer! Now!" My mom yelled. I rolled my eyes.
"Miranda go with her, please."
Anna and Grace watched as Miranda crawled off the bed obeying her orders.
"Is she always like this?" I whispered as we walk down the stairs.
"Shh..she can probably hear you. But since your asking, yes."
"Then why don't you duck out?"
"Are you insane?" I pinched my fingers together.
"No one rejects Zenya.She does have a knack for making you feel special. But she can make your life a living hell. If you cross her."
"Alright, sorry I asked."
She just nodded and walked faster down the stairs.
"So mom what is this letter?"
"It's from UPENN." She smiled.
I grinned widely.
"Well, are you going to open it or should I?" Miranda joked.
I ripped open the envelope and had the most shocked look on my face.
Toby's POV:
I laid on the side of the bed that Spencer used to sleep on. Surprisingly it still smelt like her. At night I dreamt about what it would be like if she were here, with me. But because of her ass hole of father that can't happen. My phone went off with Caleb as the caller I.D.
"What do you want?"
"Ouch."
"Sorry. I'm just in a mood." I said putting my hand to my forehead.
"I can tell, is it someone's time of the month again?"
I laughed "Okay, ass hole seriously what do you want?"
"The rest of us are getting together for some Chinese food and movies wanta join?"
"I don't know."
"Come on it'll be fun, stop being depressed."
"One: I hate you. Two: I'll be there in ten minutes, you forceful bastard."
He laughed and the call ended.
Spencer's POV:
"Well, we better go."
"I'm good to stay." Grace gave me a small smile.
"But I need help packing for my trip to Pittsburgh, remember? I need all brains on board here."
Miranda rolled her eyes and walked out the door slamming behind her.
"What crawled up her ass?" Zenya turned towards us.
"I don't know." I clutched the letter to my chest.
"Girls." She turned and followed in Miranda's footsteps.
I think Miranda was the only one in they're group to stand up to her.
Anna and Grace both gave me a hug and walked out behind Zenya. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and dialed Hanna's cell number.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Han."
"OMG! Spence!"
"Yep it's me."
"What's up?"
"You might be busy, you might not. But this is a serious friend emergency and I need you and Aria."
"Well, all of us were just about to have a party with the guys sooo..."
"Oh, I understand. Um...have fun."
"I'm sorry Spence."
"Is Toby going to be there?"
"Let's not talk about that K?"
"Alright I guess, I'll just work on this chemistry project thats due is two weeks."
"Two weeks? Spence, really?"
"What? I like getting things done early. Especially when I have nothing to do on a Friday night."
"Well, I'll talk to you later k?"
"Alright."
"Bye."
"Byeeee." and with that she hung up.
Around 8 o'clock I had pretty much finished my chemistry project. Then my phone rang I didn't bother looking at the caller I.D. I was too lazy.
"Hello?"
"Hi, Spencer." Aria said on the other end.
"Hey what's up."
"Nothing much you?"
"I thought you were with Hanna?"
"Oh, I am, and by the way please tell me you haven't eaten yet."
"No why?"
"SPECIAL DELIVERY!" Her and Hanna both yelled into the speaker.
I raced down the steps almost busting my ass and swung open the back door.
"Did you order a cheese pizza with a side of two best friends?" Hanna smiled.
"What! I never expected this." Pulling them both into a hug.
"Please come in." They walked inside smiling.
"I thought y'all were busy."
"We were, but after your painful phone call. We left the guys to finned for themselves, and made our way up here." I grinned from ear to ear at my best friends.
"Well, let's not just stand here. Let's eat! Before this delicious pizza gets cold." Aria announced.
"I'm game if you are." Hanna said and I smiled.
We all gobbled up the pizza and went upstairs to my room.
"So what have we missed?" Aria asked.
"Well....." and I explained the Alison clone and her friends that were so incredibly nice.
"She sounds like a bitch, pardon my french." Hanna said.
I laughed. "Your semi right."
"I'm always right."
"Always huh?"
We all laughed.
"You should just sneak back with us." Aria stuck a big slice of pizza in her mouth.
"I would but my mom, Melissa and Wren come back from Scranton tomorrow morning."
"Ugh!" She opened the fridge in search of a water bottle.
"Fitz has you on a health kick huh?"
"No, more like I have him on one."
"And he's okay with that?"
"He better be."
I smirked.
"It's past 10, and I'm beat. I should probably head to bed. Are y'all staying here?
"Only if you want us to." Hanna looked from Aria back to me.
I smiled at them and they followed me up the stairs to my new room to crash until morning.
