HOW TO SURVIVE YOUR HOME QUARANTINE
CORONAVIRUS COVID-19?
We are, it feels like, in a different world. Never in the history of mankind have we experienced a worldwide quarantine as a result of Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. What would Jesus do? What should you do? Jesus would tell you to stay home for your own good and the good of your neighbor and all people around you. We may be limited in our exercise of Christian fellowship; but Home Quarantine provides us with an opportunity to spend time with the Scriptures both as individuals and as a family. I hope that you will not spend all your time refreshing your social media all day; indulge yourself in movie or TV series binge watching; or playing your digital games. Here are what you can do:
First, WORSHIP as a family (or if you are students quarantined in your boarding house). Spend time worship and singing songs for God.
Second, Challenge yours in SCRIPTURE READING. There are plenty of Bible reading plans in the internet. Get one and follow it.
Third, PRAY & MEDITATE. You ask yourself, "what is the Scripture passage telling you? What does it tell you about God? What does it tell you about how to live your life? Meditation leads one to prayer. Prayer is not getting what we want from God; it is becoming what God intends you to be.
It would be sad to see ourselves to have survived the Coronavirus and our home quarantine without learning anything from it. We are not just called to take care of ourselves; we are also called out to look after our neighbors. Find ways to help your neighbor, your community and the people who are on the frontline of this worldwide crisis.
