Welcome to the secret sibling series. Well we're meeting rogers not-so secret sister.
All the avengers know's she exists and everyone thinks she's dead.
Her name is Stephanie Grace Rogers. Her and Steve are Twins. She wasn't as sick or scrawny as her brother but they both got the serum becuase.......she was with him.....til the end of the line. The serum had an even stronger effect on her because she wasnt a stick figure. She can do everything steve can.....but doubled. It also slowed her aging.
She was in the army with peggy. She's tony's godmother and she helped make SHIELD and she also knew that HYDRA was trying to grow on the inside and stopped it before it got too bad.
Everything I didn't misplace happened the same way. So bucky didn't kill tony's parents and SHIELD never fell and the accords never happened but they still met everyone. Tony was never a playboy either.

Third Person POV
July 4th, 1918
"Just one more push Sarah." Joseph rogers said to his wife. She pushed really hard and the doctor smiled. "Congradulations Mr. and Mrs.Rogers you have a a beautiful baby girl and Handsome baby boy." Sarah and joseph smiled at eachother. "What do you want to name them?" The doctor asked handing the new parents their kids.
"For the boy....Steven. For the girl.....Stephanie." Sarah Said. "Joseph you choose their middle names." Joseph thought about it. "What about Grant for Steven and Grace for Stephanie." Sarah smiled. "Steven Grant Rogers and Stephanie Grace Rogers. Sounds amazing." He said and kissed his wife. His daughter looked at him with her baby blue eyes. He smiled at her and she grinned.
"I can't wait for what the future holds." Sarah said and joseph smiled and agreed.
August 16th, 1923
"Steve come on. Bucky's mom made cookies." Stephanie said dragging her brother next door. They knocked on the door and Mrs.Barnes answered. "Hello Stephanie, Hi steven. Would you guys like to eat some cookies and play with bucky?" They nodded and she laughed at the twins.
She stepped aside and they ran in and saw bucky waiting with cookies. "Hey Steph, Hey Steve." He smiled. "Hey Bucky." They said in usion. "Cookies?" They both nodded and grabbed one. "What do you want to play?" Steve asked. "Lets play Pirate." Bucky said. They nodded and they all ran outside.
They were playing for a while before They decided to play army instead. "Are you gonna be a nurse steph?" Bucky asked. "Why would I be a nurse? I'd rather be a General." Stephanie clarified. "But your a girl! You cant be a general." Bucky said.
Stephanie frowned and turned to him. "Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean i'm any less capable of fighting barnes. Mark my words, I will be a general in the army." Bucky nodded his head and they continued playing til supper.
May 4th, 1939
"Y'all are wimps. I'll come back every few months." She said to the two boys who just wouldn't let go. "But you're joining the army. Who's gonna help me get stevie out of trouble." Bucky pouted. "Jerk." Steve said. "Punk." Bucky replied.
"Y'all are going to get me in trouble if you don't let go." They reluctantly let go of her. "You promise you'll be back?" Steve said. "I promise. Cross my heart and hope to die, beat my twin until I cry." She said. Steve nodded in approval.
"Bye guys." She said getting into the car. They waved her bye. "We're joining the army one day, right?" Steve nodded. "Definetly." They went back inside and made cookies hoping that stephanie would be okay.
June 26th, 1943
"Faster, ladies! Come on! My grandmother has more life in her, God rest her sould. Move it!" Peggy said training the recruits for project insight. "My name is Agent Peggy Carter and This is General Stephanie Rogers. We are going to be training you guys for project insight. Everyone give me 100 jumping jacks." Peggy and Stephanie walked around while the boys worked out.
The men went through days of training before Stephanie and Steve saw eachother. They needed another person to perform and Steve had asked her to do it since they were twins. Ofcourse stephanie agreed because that was her big brother (by 10 minutes).
On the way to project insight she could hear peggy and steve's conversation in the background. "You have no idea how to talk to a woman, do you?" Peggy asked Steve."I think this is the longest conversation I've had with one. Women aren't exactly lining up to dance with a guy they might step on." Steve shrugged.
Once they arrived they greated Howard and steve voiced how nervous he was while his sister laughed at him. They gave him the anthestetic and he sighed. "That wasn't so bad." Stephanie looked over at him. "That was the anthestetic." She laughed as they put the blue stuff in the tubes and closed the device.
They turned the machine on low and went to check on the twins. "Are you guys ok?" Howard said tapping the glass. "It's probably too late to use the bathroom. Isn't it?" Steve said. "Of course it is idiot." Stephanie replied. Howard laughed and went to the machine and turned it on full power.
After it stopped glowing the machines opened and the twins stepped out. Steve had way more muscles while stephanie just grew a couple of inches. Everyone went over to them. "Did it work of you?" Howard asked. "I feel stronger." She shrugged.
Just then a bomb went off and Peggy, Steve and Stephanie went after the perpitrator. There were 2 cars. Steve went after 1 while stephanie and peggy went after the other. The second car went to hit her and peggy but Stephanie stopped it with her hands.
"I guess we know the serum worked." Peggy laughed and nodded. Steve came back with the vile and they ran back inside. Dr.Erskine didn't make it but they saved the last few viles in order to try and remake it.
"Any hope of reproducing a program is locked in your genetic code. But without Dr. Erskine, it could take years." Howard sighed looking at the twins. "He deserved more than this." Steve sighed. "If could only work twice, he'd be proud it was you guys." Peggy smiled at the twins.
November 16th, 1943
"These are your only two options? A lab rat or a dancing monkey? You were meant for more than this, you know. What?" Peggy encouraged Steve. "You know for the longest time I dreamed about coming overseas and be on the front lines. Serving my country. I finally get everything I wanted... and I'm wearing tights." Steve sighed.
"They look like they're been through hell." Steve said looking at all the soldiers in the ambulances. Stephanie came over as he said that. "These men more than most. Schmidt sent out a force to Azzano. Two hundred men went up against him and less than 50 returned." Stephanie said.
"Your audience contained what was left of the 107th. The rest were captured or killed." Peggy said. The twins looked at eachother. "The 107th?" Steve questioned. "What?" Peggy asked. "Come on." Steve said and they ran to the colonels tent.
"Colonel Phillips!" Steve said upon noticing the man. "Well if it isn't the star spangled man with a plan. And what is your plan today?" He mocked. "I need the casualty list from azzano." He asked. "You don't give me orders son." He said. Stephanie stepped up.
"Well I do. 5 Star General Stephanie Rogers, colonel. I need that list." He sighed and handed it over. Stephanie looked through the list while steve tried to get information out of them man. "I just need one name. James Barnes from the 107th."
The colonel turned to peggy. "You and I are gonna have a conversation later that you wont enjoy." Peggy sighed. "Please tell me if he's alive sir. B-A-R..." "I can spell." He cut steve off. Stephanie looked up and shook her head. "I'm sorry son." The colonel said.
"What about the others? Are you planning a rescue mission?" Colonel phillips laughed. "Yeah! Its called winning the war." Steve sighed. "But if you now where they are, why not at least...?" The colonel looked at him.
"They're thirty miles behind enemy lines. Through the most heavily fortified territory in europe. We'd lose more men than we'd save. But I don't expect you to understand that, because you're a chorus girl." Steve shook his hed. "I think I understand just fine."
"Well then understand it somewhere else. If I read the posters you have somewhere to be in 30 minutes." Steve sighed. "I do." Peggy turned to the colonel. "If you have something to say, right now's the perfect time to keep it to yourself." Stephanie and Peggy followed steve out.
"What do you plan to do? Walk to Austria?" Peggy said to steve. "If that's what it takes." He said. Peggy takes more time to try and convince him while stephanie suits up. "You told me you thought I was meant for more than this. Did you mean that?" Steve turned to peggy.
"Every word." She said, "Then you gotta let me do this." He gets in the jeep and stephanie climbs in with him. "What are you doing Steph?" She turned to her twin. "I'm going with. Your stuck with me till the end of the line. And you can't disagree because I'm higher rank." Steve siged.
Peggy came back with a helmate and Shield for Steve and said she had a plan. They drove off to where stark was waiting on the plane. They devise and plan and get ready to go. "As soon as we're free you turn this thing around and get the hell out of here." Steve says handing his siter a prachute.
"You dont give me orders." Peggy says. Steve turns to her. "The hell I can't. I'm a captain." He said then the twins jumped. Soon as they got there they started taking people out left and right. They get to the place where all the soldiers are being held.
"Who are y'all supposed to be." One of the guys asked as they unlocked the cells. "I'm Captain america and thats general Rogers." Steve said. "I beg your pardon?" Another asked. "Then beg." Stephanie said. The guys laughed.
"All right. The tree line is northwest 80 yards past the gate. Get out fast and give em hell. We'll meet you guys in the clearing with anybody else we find." Stephanie orders. "Wait! You know what your doing." Someone calls to steve.
Stephanie looks at him. "Yeah. I've knocked out Adolf Hitler over 2 hundred times." He said and they ran off to find Bucky. They find him strapped to a chair muttering something. "Bucky? Oh, my god." Bucky looks at steve.
"Is that..." Bucky started. "It's me. It's Steve." Steve said grabbing bucky. "Steve?" Bucky said in shock. "Come on." Steve said. "Steve." Bucky said again. "I thought you were dead." Steve said. "I thought you were smaller." Bucky said looking at steve.
"Come on." Stephanie said to the boys. "Hey steph." Bucky said. "Hey buck." She smiled. "What happened to you?" Bucky asked steve. "I joined the army." He replied as they ran through the halls. "Did it hurt?" Bucky aksed. "A little." Steve sighed.
"Is it permanent?" Steve looked at his muscles and back at bucky. "So far." He shrugs. They run through as the halls start exploding. They come in contact with Schdmit but he gets away while they get out. They run out to the trees to meet the guys and head back to camp.
Back at camp peggy is getting yelled at. "I can't touch stark. He's rich and he's the army number one weapons contractor. You are neither one." Peggy shook her head. "With respect sir, I don't regret my actions. And I dont thinl the twins did either." The colonel looked at peggy.
"What makes you think I give a damn about your opinions. I took a chance with you, Agent carter. And now americas golden boy, Our first Female General, and a lot of other good men are dead because you had a crush" He said. "It wasn't that I had faith."
"Well I hope thats a big comfort to you when they shut this divison down." There was cheering outside and they ran outside to see what was going on. "Look who it is." Someone shouted. Steve and Stephanie walk up to the general. "Some of these men need medical attention." Stephanie said.
"I would like to submit myself for disciplinary action." Steve said. "I wouldn't I'm ahead of you." Steph said stepping to the side. "That wont be necessary." The colonel said. "Faith, huh?" He said to peggy then walked away.
Peggy turned to the twins. "You're late." She said to them. Stephanie grabbed the trnsponder from her bag. "We couldn't exactly call a ride." Bucky went to the twins and held up their arms. "Lets hear it for Captain America and General Rogers." Everyone cheered.
June 16th, 1945
"I have to put her in the water." Steve said to peggy an Stephanie over the comms. "Come on steve theres gotta be another way." Stephanie said. "I'll get howard on the line. He'll know what to do." Peggy said. "There's not enough time."
"Like hell there isn't." Stephanie said. "I'm sorry little sis. I have to. I guess I'm gonna be late to year 28. I know we had plans but we might need a raincheck." He said to his sister. "Your only older by 10 minutes asshole. You better be there. No exceptions." She sniffled. "I love you." She smiled. "I love you too bro." He shuffles a bit. "Peggy?" He said.
"I'm here steve." He sighs. "I'm gonna need a raincheck on that dance." She smiled. "Alright. Next saturday, at the stork club." Steve smiled. "Eight o'clock on the date. Don't you dare be late. Understood?" He sighed. "You know I still don't know how to dance."
"I'll teach you before hand." Stephanie said. "Alright. Peggy have the band to play something slow. I'd hate to step on your..." The radio cut. "Steve?" Stephanie tried. Her and peggy broke down crying. The colonel watched from the doorway and sighed.
August 5th, 1965
"This is it guys." Stephanie said looking at what they had. "This is the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Divison." Peggy said. "Well its small." Stephanie looked at him. "It'll do howard. Its only the start." She said. "Thats quite a long name." Howard pointed out. "Then how about we shorten it." Peggy suggests.
"How about we call it...SHIELD." Howard and Peggy nod. "Well. To the rise of SHIELD." They raised their glasses. "To the rise of SHIELD." They drank. "Now everyone get to work." Everyone ran to their stations
May 29th, 1970
"He's so precious." Steph said looking at her new godson. "Yes. The young Mr.Stark is quite adorable." Edwin said from beside her. "Oh howard whats his name?" Peggy asked playing with the baby. "Anthony Edward Stark." They all cooed.
He picked up howards screw driver and started playing with it. Stephanie noticed. "Oh no you don't." She said taking it away. "He's gonna be just like you howard." Peggy laughed. "I love this kid already." Howard said.
"Steve would've loved him." Peggy sighed. They all smiled at the though. "Steve would've stared at him and been so confused cause he's so small." Stephanie laughed. "Probably." Howard sighed. "This kid is gonna be a handful." Stephanie said taking a wrench from him.
"Goodness. This kid is already giving me grey hairs." Jarvis sighed. "You and me both eddie, you and me both." Howard said taking him to maria.
May 20th, 1975
"Aunt Stephanie." Tony said running up to his godmother. "Hey Tones. Hows my favorite godson." He smiled. "I'm your only godson." He giggled. "Where's your daddy? Is he neglecting you again?" Stephanie asked.
"Nope! After you came and yelled at him last week he started being nice and playing with me and now he likes me. He even said he loved me!" Tony giggled. "Stephanie. How are you?" Howard said coming out with maria.
"I'm doing good. SHIELD has got an official government building and we've got tons of workers. I found HYDRA agents applying so we've gotta stark doing deeper background checks." She said hugging maria. "I'll tell peggy once she gets here."
Stephanie pulled howard aside. "You need to be there for tony. Don't be like your dad. Be there. Love him. Or i might just murder you." She threatened. "I promise. I'm just scared I'll be like my dad." He admitted. "If you neglect him. Then you are. Embrace the kid. Love him. Make sure he know's your proud of him. Love him every once in a while. Take him out to dinner and such. Its that simple." Howard nodded.
"Aunt Stephanie. Come look at the robot dog me and daddy made." Tony said grabbing his aunt. She laughed as he dragged her to the lab. "Definetly your kid howard." She yelled as she was dragged by her godson.
July 4th, 1981
"Just one story. PLease aunt steph." Tony begged. "Fine. Just one then I have to go." He smiled. "Yes!" He said jumping on the couch. One he was comfortable he motioned for her to start. "Well once when me and your uncle steve were 10 and your uncle bucky was 11 we went to the diner to celebrate our birthday which was a week from them but everything was always crowded since we were born on independance day."
Tony nodded. "Me and Your uncle Bucky were talking about everything and he told me he had a crush on me since we were kids. We were about to kiss when we heard your uncle steve scream. We ran to see what was wrong and it turns out he went to use the bahtroom but someone tangleded him in toliet paper." Tony laughed.
"Me and Bucky had to rip the toilet paper off of him. Afterwards we went home where steve cleaned any other toilet paper off of him." Tony laughed so hard he cried. "Alright I have to go." She said kissing his forehead. "Wait Aunt Steph. Do you think I'll ever meet uncle steve." She smiled at him.
"I hope you do. Anthony. I really hope you do." She said leaving out.
December 16th, 1991
"We'll be back tony." Stephanie said. "I was supposed to ride with peggy but I had to say bye to my godson first." Tony looked at her. "You know Aunt Steph you've looked the same for as long as I can remember." Tony said. "Well The serum affected the way I age so im stuck in a 27 year olds body for a while." Tony smiled. "You promise to come back. All of you?" Stephanie and Maria smiled. "Promise." They said and went out to the car.
Howard stayed and talked to tony a bit. They got in the car and drove for a bit til someone in a motocycle made them swerve and crash into trees. Someone grabbed howard out of the car and threw him on the ground. Stephanie grabbed her gun and got out the car and aimed it at the person.
She saw it was bucky and her heart dropped. "B-Bucky?" He looked at her and she saw how lost and confused his eyes looked. "Who the hell is bucky?" She put her hands up. "It's me. Your bestfriend. Stephanie." She smiled. "S-Stephanie?" He asked. She nodded.
"How much do you remember?" She asked she looked around and shot the camera watching them. "I-I remember falling off the train. Then HYDRA expirementing on me. T-Then they Took my memories and then I don't remember." Bucky looked at howard. "H-Howard? Are you ok?" Howard nodded and got up.
"Howard. Can you make something to do a brain scan to see how much damage they did?" Howard nodded. "Bucky. We're gonna fix you and get you off the grid." He nodded. Ambulance came and Stitched up Maria's head then gave them a ride back to the Stark mansion.
"Mom, Dad, Aunt Steph, are you guys ok? I saw the news and I got worried. (did they have news back then?)" They all nodded. "Tony. HYDRA did something to someone I care about. Can you fix him?" She asked. "Who?" Tony said curiously. "Anthony meet your uncle Bucky. Bucky meet your nephew Anthony Edward Stark." Bucky looked suprised.
"This is the dude you dated when you were 11? I thought he'd have better hair." Tony sassed. Bucky looked offended. "I have great Hair for your information." Tony laughed. "Whatever you say uncle james. I'll call Honey Bear. He'll love this." Tony went to the phone.
"Honey bear?" Bucky asked. "It's what he calls his friend." Bucky made an Oh face. "Where's steve?" Bucky asked. "He...he died during the war. He crashed his plane saving new york." Bucky sighed. "Of course he did. He was an idiot." Bucky looked up. "Peggy's on her way before you ask she's fine." Bucky nodded.
"Well lets go see if we can get my memories back." Bucky said. "You know. Since your body is 25 and mine is 27 I'm technically older than you." Bucky scoffed. "Whatever helps you sleep at night princess." Stephanie scoffed and showed him to the lab.
January 21st, 2010
"I'm sorry Tony I'll be back as soon as I can. If you need anything call Bucky." He nodded. "I'll visit Peggy at the hospital and change the flowers at Maria and Maria's grave then I'll check up with Nick at SHIELD. You be nice to pepper now." He nodded. "Bye Aunt steph. I'll see you in a few years." She smiled at her nephew. "See you in a few years." She gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Love you Auntie." He yelled to her.
"Love you more Anthony." He chuckled and she got in the car and drove away.
Present Day
"Remember that time she beat up that one kid and scared the rest so bad that nobody even looked at us for months." Bucky laughed looking through photo's. "Yeah." Steve laughed. "Hey Steve, Uncle bucky." Tony said coming into the room. "Hey tony." Steve greeted.
"Its like 7 am why are you guys up looking at photos?" Tony said starting the coffee. "Because we want to." Tony shrugged and went over to look at photo's with them. The rest of the team trickled in and sat down and conversated. Nat came over to her boyfriend and she got curious.
"What are you boys looking at." Steve looked at her. "Pictures of my sister. She was killed during a mission for all we know." Steve explained. "Who wants to hear embarrassing stories of Steve and Uncle Bucky that Aunt Stephanie told me." Everyone got quiet and gathered around.
Tony told them a few stories that Stephanie told him when the lights went out. "Whats going on with the lights?" Sam asked. "I...... don't know. FRIDAY?" No response. "I can feel another presence." Wanda said. The avengers got off the couch and looked around the dark room.
The lights came on and it was nobody there. "Maybe it was a false alarm?" Shuri said. "You do have primitave technology." She mocked. "No. My spider senses are telling me someone else is here." Peter confirmed. "Well your senses would be correct." Everyone turned around and pointed their weapons at the new voice who was facing away from them.
"Who are you and how did you get in?" Bucky asked. "Well I'm a few years late but I believe I made a promise to a godson of mine." The person said. "HEY! Everyone drop your weapons." Everyone reluctantly listened to tony. "Tony who is this person?" Steve asked. "I can't believe you didn't recognize your own sister." Steve gasped.
"Stephanie." He gave her a big hug. "Steve...can't...breathe." He let go. "Sorry. Sorry." She laughed and walked over to give tony a hug. "I hear you and Pepper are engaged now." She said to tony. "Yeah. We're getting married in a couple months. We were trying to track you down so that you could be there but everything came up a dead end so we thought..." He trailed off.
"No. My mission lasted longer than I thought it would and nobody bothered to tell me my brother came back from the dead." Tony looked surprised. "I thought you knew he was alive! All this time." Stephanie laughed. "Is this about when you were 11 and I told you, you would meet him." Tony nodded.
"So are you guys going to introduce me to your friends or..." Steve snapped out of his shock. "Right, right. Guys this is my twin sister Stephanie. Steph this is Wanda, Pietro, Peter, Shuri, T'challa, Clint, Bruce, Thor, Loki, and My girlfriend Nat." Stephanie smiled.
"Girlfriend eh? Nice to meet you future sister in law." Steve blushed and nat smiled. "Steve, your sister is one of the most badass women in history?" Steve nodded. "Nice." Nat said. "Who want's to hear stories of steve, bucky, and Tony as little kids?" Everyone piped up.
"Gather round children." Everyone sat around. She told them of the time steve passed out in sex ed class and the time bucky got stuck in the slide and the time tony Stuck his hands together in the lab. "Man y'all were some dumb kids." T'challa laughed.
Stephanie frowned. "Oh TT don't think I wont tell embarrassing stories of you." He blushed and shut up. "You've been to wakanda?" Tony asked. "Where do you think I got your super cool christmas present from?" Tony smiled. "Only you aunt steph."
"Did you get frozen too?" Wanda asked. "Nope. The serum had a different effect on me and it made me age slower." She explained. "Hey steve. I've just remembered I'm mad at you." Stephanie said. "What did I do?" Steve asked more to himself than anyone.
"28th birthday. You and Bucky were gone, Peggy was working, and Howard was a fugitive. I spent my party all alone watching the fireworks from the Navy Ship." Steve frowned. "Sorry. Why was howard a fugitive?" Stephanie shrugged.
"Another story for another time. Now. Who wants to play mario cart?" She said noticing their Wii. "Me!" Clint, Peter, and Sam said at the same time. Stephanie laughed and grabbed a controller. They played for hours, different people going up against her each time. But once she set the high score nobody could beat it.
"Alright What the actual fuck. Steve how the hell is your sister so good at this?" Sam shouted after loosing once again in 3rd place. "Language." Steve replied. Stephanie looked at him with the most annoyed/confused look. "What do you want little sister." He said noticing her stare.
"First of all. Your only older than me by 10 minutes asshole. Second off. Why the hell are you saying language?" Steve shrugged. "Because cursing isn't good for you." Stephanie gave her brother a look that basically called bullshit for her. "If I remember correctly July 3rd 1930. You cursed out Jimmy Tompson becuase he pushed me off the slide because I was a girl. The day we rescued bucky from HYDRA in the 40's you told peggy and I quote. "Like hell I can't. I'm a captain." You also told the men we rescued to "Give em hell." "
Everyone looked at steve. "You've got a potty mouth." Sam said. "Tony. How did you react when you met steve?" Stephanie asked tony out of curiosity. "W-what do you mean?" Steve asked. "Well when tony was little he admired captain america. He made me tell him a bunch of stories of you up until he was 23." Steve laughed. "He admired his Uncle stevie." Tony blushed as all the avengers laughed.
"Awww I didn't mean to embarrass you Tones." Tony shook his head and went to find pepper. Stephanie laughed. "Well I better go make sure Fury hasn't absolutely destroy SHEILD. I'll be back in say...30 minutes. Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone." Steve smirked. "How can I? Your taking all the stupid with you." Stephanie stuck her head back in. "So you and Bucky are coming? Got it. You've got 5 minutes."
The team laughed and clint went to order dinner. "I love your sister." Nat laughed. Steve smiled. "Yeah. Me to." He kissed nat and truned to bucky. "Race ya there punk." Bucky didn't have time to respond before steve had run off.
"Nat. I'm killing your boyfriends." Nat just smiled and waved him off and he ran out.
And if Stephanie drove down the highway blasting barbie girl at steve and bucky's request. Then that's nobody's business.
