A few weeks later
Percy's POV
A lot has changed since the last few weeks. We managed to get food and we are surviving at least. So far no one like Nyx or Tartarus hasn't found us yet. Damasen found us though. That's how we got food. He gave us some of his fruits, vegetables and pieces of meat and seeds. He comes here once a week or so.
Nico and Jason didn't know how to react when they saw him. Danny laughed at their faces though, but Damasen being Damasen needed his payment which was a story. So we each make turns to tell him a story. Danny kept telling him stories of how he and his friends used to fight ghosts and so on. Jason told him stories he got from movies while Nico and I would make something up for him.
I looked around the temple. Danny and Jason was making food while Nico took a nap. I'm bored. I don't know why but I looked at Nico and I kept looking at him. He kinda looked adorable.
I shook my head immediately. I'm not falling for a guy... right? Even if I admitted it to Nico will he still like me? Jason did say he is gay and I never told Nico that I knew. "Percy!" I got startled."You okay?" It was Danny giving me a bowl. I took ot and started to eat it."Yeah, thanks." I said. Jason woke up Nico and gave him his bowl. The two of them joined us."Something the matter?" Nico asked me."No, nothing's wrong. Just got lost in thought." I said and I took a sip from mg broth.
"How long are we going to keep this up?" Danny asked."I don't know, but it's starting to smell in here." Jason said."That's should stay. It's concealing our scent." Nico said. We would keep ourselves clean though. Danny would make ice, melt it, we heat it up and we clean ourselves like that and it's all we have though.
Suddenly we heard the hatch open. We put down our food and got our swords. The figure stepped in."It's just me..." Damasen.
"Why are you here? You were her yesterday." Jason asked."I came to warn you. Tartarus got tired to look for you so he sent out every monster possible to look for you. If he finds you, he'll make you immortal like me and he'll torture you. You have to be careful." He said.
"Every monster?" I asked."I suggest if you have something on the heart then you should do it now...just in case." My eyes widen. Nico's eyes was wide too. What's on his heart?"Thank you Damasen." I said."Stay safe, don't leave unless you need to. Here is extra food." He said and puts down a whole bag down."Thank you so much." Danny said.
"Your welcome. I should leave before they find me here." He said and he left."Good luck." He said before he closed the hatch after him.
"What now? We're screwed if he finds only one of us." Danny said. I paced up and down. I just want to go home."Do any of you have something on the heart?" Jason asked. He looked at Nico then at me and then at Danny."I...I can't. I'm sorry." Nico said.
Everyone looked at him. I came closer to him but he then stepped back."It's me..." I said."What?" Nico asked."It's me. What are you not telling me?" I asked."Now isn't the time for this." Nico said mostly to himself asbhe looked down. He then looked at Jason for moment. He gave a small nod.
Is it because he is gay? What's the big deal? Nico looked at war with himself. I wanted to hug him but I didn't know if I should.
Oh what the heck!
I pulled Nico towards me putting him in shock for a moment. A few seconds later he wrapped his arms around me.
Nico's POV
As I argued with myself whether or not to tell Percy my true feelings, he pulled me towards him and hugged me. When I finally comprehend what was happening I hugged back. Feeling his warmth against me was nice. He pulled back held me by the shoulders."Nico...no more secrets please. Did I do something wrong? Whatever I did-"
I cut him off by kissing him. Jason and Danny's jaws hung. After a moment I was about to pull back but he kissed back and pressed my body into his. I opened one eye and saw Jason smiling an oof. He pulled back."You like me?" Percy asked."Yeah, I didn't know how you would react... I'm sorry." I said and I pulled myself away from his embrace.
"Nico...you don't have to say sorry."
"Shh!" Percy and I blinked when Danny shushed us."What?" Jason asked."Shh. Someone is close." Danny whispered and the torches die out. I felt Percy wrapping his arms around me again and we went towards the wall.
"I can smell them! Their scent is stronger over here!"
"You sure? All I smell is broth."
"And why is that?" We sat still."Who would need to eat? Banished demigods are the only ones that would eat." The voice said. He sounded snarky."Oh, that's right."
I felt dust falling from the roof. Their right above us."Hey... where's the temple that use ti be here?" The other voice asked."I don't know. Did it get destroyed?" The snarky voice asked. Suddenly I wish I was back in Gotham City. I'll rather deal with Scarecrow again than this."Look! Footprints."
My heart was beating. I could feel everyone started to get anxious. Percy held Riptide in his hand while Jason had his coin. I can still see in the dark if you are wondering."Hey, smell it." The snarky one said."I can smell it...it smells recent." The other one said."Please don't come in." I whispered lowly to myself. Percy held me closer to him.
I just have one regret...
I wish I told him before. Now we might die. That's a stupid move!"Hey, footprints!" One of them said."Quiet, you idiot! We don't want other monsters to find us or that reward is good as gone. I wanna get out of here!" The snarky one said."Well, excuse you."
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
Danny got ready for a fight. Everything was quiet. I was shaking. Jason sweat from the nervousness we kept feeling. The hatch opened up, but from the loud bang I heard, they probably ripped it off.
As they got closer to us, we started to breathe heavily. My hand landed over my sword. Jason and Percy didn't activate their weapons yet, since it gives off a light. They were in the room.
My eyes widen when I saw what they were.
Titans.
Percy started to shake."It's too dark." One of them said and suddenly the torches lit up."There they are!" The one said that sounded snarky. Percy's sword changed from it's pen form into it's sword form. Jason's coin transformed into a sword. Danny transformed.
"Ohh, that one I don't know. This is interesting."
"You ready for round two?" Percy commented."Gah! Percy Jackson and Jason Grace... it's their fault that Kronos got beaten." One said. I honestly couldn't remember their names nor do I care now.
"Nico Di Angelo...he convinced Hades to fight...who are you then?" The snarky one said."You really want to know?" Danny asked as he showed his recently grown fangs."Oh, great. Another one." Danny's eyes widen.
"So you got promoted from guarding elevator doors?" Percy asked. They growled."Watch your mouth. You'll pay for that one too." They are the titans that guarded the Doors of Death from this side when it opened."Hyperion and Koios." Percy hissed.
"I'm assuming that white haired one is a blessed one..." Hyperion said."Yeah, what's it to you?" Danny shouted and shot him with an ectoplasmic ray. Percy went in for an attack and I drew my sword attacking the same Titan he was attacking as Danny and Jason attacked Hyperion.
We weren't winning though. Jason got thrown into the wall making some pieces of the hardened dirt to fall on him."Jason!" Danny shouted but then he too got swatted away. Danny crashed but he got back up immediately.
Percy and I were trying to slice of Koios's feet off but he was too strong."The son of Poseidon surely gotten weaker." Koios said and he then picked him up by his throat. He smirked and then looked at me."Leave him alone!" I shouted and tried to make an attack.
He forced me into the wall. I couldn't breathe."Stop..." Percy choked."Leave...him." Percy clawed Koios's arm but it was pointless. He then threw me towards the broth we were making. The hot dish fell on my face. I screamed from the pain.
I looked at Jason. I crawled towards him as the cracks in the roof started to grow. I was getting tired and weaker...I just wanted to fall down and sleep. I looked towards Percy again. The Titan was strangling him until he was unconscious. Percy's sword was across the room. I don't know where mine was. I stood up and towards it grabbed it.
I was about to attack Koios but he smacked me towards where Jason was. More rubble fell down and all I saw was darkness.
"Nico!!"
Danny's POV
These Titans were too powerful. I watched in horror as the rubble fell on Nico and Jason. Hyperion grabbed me from behind. I tried to get free but couldn't. I was too weak."What about those two?" Koios asked."Their dead. No way they could've survived that. This old temple is going to crumble down anyway so two of them alive is better than nothing." Hyperion said.
They tied both our wrists together. I struggled but it only made them angrier and Koios punched me in my face. Suddenly I got reminded of my time with the Guys in White. The thought just made me scared but angry at the same time."Let. Us. Go!" I growled.
"Whoa, look at his eyes. Impressive." Koios said."Don't praise him. Come on. Carry them." Hyperion said."Why should they be carried? They also have feet."
"Tartarus won't be happy if he can't do what he wants with them only to find out they are already too tired. Besides, you knocked one unconscious." Hyperion said."Ugh, fine."
"Aw, you two are like a married couple." I said. That made Hyperion mad and he sliced my arm with a sword. I hissed from the pain. It freaking burns!
Koios grabbed a branch and placed it between me and Percy. He then tied up our feet to the branch."You grab the other side." Koios side. Hyperion did so. He walked in the front.
The swaying motions wasn't helping. I felt nauseous and I could feel I'm getting sleepy as well. I hope Jason and Nico are okay. I looked at Percy. He looked bad.
No doubt that Tartarus will just heal our wounds and create new ones. I look bad enough with my encounter with the GIW. He is surely going to have fun with me."Is it true the mortals knows about the Greek and Roman worlds? I can't believe it. The chaos we can create." Hyperion said.
"I heard it was these brats's fault. They wanted to save this one but they didn't think that the mortals could find his blood." Koios said."What happened to the mist then?" Hyperion asked."Is ot failing?"
"Where are you from?" Koios asked me."Why should I tell you?" I spat."Wait, he's a Blessed One just kike that other one. He must be from Amity Park. The mist is weak there. Those mortals are going to know first about everything." Hyperion said.
A big red scary looking castle started to came in view but it gotten blurry. I lost consciousness as the Titans started to climb the stairs that lead to the castle.
