Y/n POV
I look at my brother walking into my room, he puts his laptop on the side desk as he walks to the bed and taking a seat
B: I was wondering if we could talk, come have a seat
He signals me patting the empty space on the bed beside him. I walk over not really saying much; I sit next to him as he lightly smiled
B: We haven't really just sat down and talked for a bit so it would be nice
I nod in reply, a big reason why I wasn't really saying anything was because I was low-key afraid of him being mad at me. I love my brother but I don't think he would be quite pleased if he found out I like his best friend from back home oh also his bandmate that he lives with.
B: So I've seen or I've been feeling that lately you and Nick have been getting kinda close. Is it just something I'm seeing your is it like a real thing
He asked looking at me with a questioning look. I look at him nervously, how, how could he possibly even know
Y/n: Can I ask why you think that
I reply tryna act normal he nods
B: Sure. For starters I always you two around together. Like right now, second you also seem distracted by him and well that day of the picnic when you two wanted to sit together in his car. And also how you took a long time coming back home
He explains
Y/n: I told you we went to get ice cream
I say disregarding his first couple of statements knowing they were accurate
B: Alright. But I just wanna take care of you. Your my younger sister and seeing with 'hangout' with Nick
He responds with air quotation
B: Is kinda weird, I mean is there anything going on??
He asks again as he looked into my eyes, my brother was so smart.
Y/n: No Brandon were just friends. Yeah lately we've been civil with each other but that doesn't mean anythings going on
I know I had to lie to my brother because it wasn't like Nick and I are dating. YES I like him a lot and YES we've kissed but he hasn't told me what he feels. He knows how to express his feelings but words are very important.
Words can make one feel secure and committed. Also if I were to tell Brandon that would mean him getting annoyed and tense. I know he's trying and acting like he's clam but from the inside he's raging to hear what I know what's to hear.
B: Alright good I was just wondering, you know what older brothers do also don't mention this to anyone even Ally okay
He orders as I nod
B: Now get ready but nothing to showy and extra
He said messing up my hair
Y/n: BRANDONNN, stop acting like DAD
I whined annoyed as I playfully hit him with the pillow on the bed while fixing my hair
B: Ok, chill, chill. I love you
He says as I chuckle, he always acts like this; ever since we were younger he would annoy me and then say he loves me
Y/n: Yeah the feeling is mutual
I reply as he gets off the bed
B: Now lemme go check on Ally
He laughs as he walks out and I smiled.
**A couple hours later**
I was currently sitting on the counter in the kitchen sipping on my sprite as Zion sat next to me with my sister Ally and my best friend Julia.
I lightly sway to the beat playing in the back to some random Tory Lanez song.
J: These parties are starting to get so lame right
Julia says as I nod
Y/n: Tell me about it, the same old sh*t, music, drinks and people dancing like maniacs
I add as Ally chuckles but Zion shakes his head
Z: You know what, I would like to disagree
Zion replies acting like he always does
Y/n: And why is that
I ask, turning over to look at him
Z: Well first of all, you need to learn to have the right kinda of fun, you know your not gonna have fun if you sit on the counter in the kitchen watching people right??
He states questioning
Y/n: Ok Mr.Smarty pants what you think your doing right now
I giggle as he raises his eyebrows trying to defend himself
Z: No see I just sat here because I was taking a break from all the dancing I did
Al: Yeah right
Ally adds as we all laughed
Z: Ok Ally, I dare you to a dance battle
He says putting his can on the side
Al: What?? where did that come from
She responds chuckling confused
Z: What you scared, I smell a chicken
Al: Ha no, les go best 2 outta 3 whoever stops first
She puts her hands on her hips, speaking in sass as Julia and I laughed like crazies
Z: Bet
He answers jumping of the counter as they ran to the living room
J: I gotta see this, you coming??
Julia follows
Y/n: Yeah you go I'll be there in a second
I answer smiling
J: Aight
She replies running off to the living room. I get off the counter and put my soda in the sink. I then put my hand in the bowl of chips as I see Nick lean on the counter next to me
N: Hey gorgeous
He spoke, even his voice sent shivers down my spine, I smile turning to face him
Y/n: Hey handsome
I repeat his gesture as he grins revealing his dimple
N: I hope you liked the snacks I picked, I didn't really know what you like
He says coming closer to me, His scent travelling into my nose as I smile
Y/n: Yeah there good
I respond
N: I wanted you to come with me, but your brother
I lean on the counter next to him
Y/n: Maybe next time
I answer taking a bite of another chip that was in my hand
N: For sure
He smiles, as we just look around. That's when I feel his hand touch mine, intertwining our fingers together
Y/n: You know that hickey, it looks pretty good on you
I giggle as he touches the mark on his neck grinning ear to ear
N: Yeah, but the excuse was lame
I chuckle
Y/n: I have no idea how they even bought it
We laugh glancing over at each other
N: Me either
I start looking back at the crowd, thinking I told Julia I was coming right behind here
Y/n: I should go see what's going on over there
I say as I'm about to let go of his hand he pulls me back. Making my back hit his chest, our bodies pressing against each others. My breath increases as he wraps his arms around my waist. Coming near my ear giving me chills all over my body
N: I like you a lot
He moves my hair to one side pecking my neck. I bit my lip smiling
Y/n: Really?, cause I like you to
I reply knowing I made him smile with my answer
N: Good, then meet me in my room if you want. I'll be waiting
I turn around and smile; quickly pecking his lips before anyone saw. But luckily they were all too busy watching the dance battle and plus the kitchen was in the corner for nobody to see.
Y/n: I'll think about it
I bit my lip looking into his eyes as I walk away.
Nick POV
Y/n is driving me crazy, it's something about her that causes all my feelings. Usually I treated her like Brandon's annoying younger sister but recently she was turning hot but her appearance wasn't the only thing I was falling for rather the fact that she's genuinely an amazing person. I could just talk to her for so long and not get bored. It was just the way she looks at me; the way she smiles man she's so gorgeous.
I walk upstairs into my bedroom in hopes she would follow me upstairs. I get inside and close the door facing the other way. I wait for around a minute when I hear the door finally open. I smile excitedly turning around to be kinda shocked
N: EMMA??
I ask in nearly a yell my eyes go wide and jaw drops as my heart starts leaping in my chest from nervousness. The feeling of the bad butterflies roaming my body as she walks closer.
