Y/n POV
It's been a day since I've been staying with my brother and the other guys. At times it was nice to forget about what happened because the guys were great distraction but most of the time I couldn't stop thinking about what occurred yesterday.
On the other side Maya was having a great time with all her uncles but she keeps asking about Nick and why he wasn't here. I honestly didn't know what to tell her. I didn't know what to say it just hurt so much to have your person, the person you admire, and love kiss someone else and make someone else their priority.
I was currently sitting on the couch next to Brandon and Zion watching some random movie when the door opens. All of us immediately turn our heads to look and see Nick walking in with a medium sized bag. My initial thought is why's he here, and my second thought was more of a flashback of what I saw when I walked into that room a day ago.
Nick and I make eye contact as he gives me a sincere smile, I roll my eyes looking the other way. That's when Brandon gets off the couch smiling
B: Hey Nick it's so nice to have you here
Brandon says as I make a confused face. As bad as I wanted to ask Brandon what he meant I won't because I don't wanna give him that power over me because I shouldn't be caring
N: Hey, yeah thanks for letting me stay a couple of days
Nick adds as I sigh, really he really had to do this
B: Anytime bro, this is your house too
He smiles grabbing Nick's bag from him putting it to the side. What was my brother planning I had to get to the bottom of this. Brandon turns his head glancing over at me as I glare back at him making sure he knew what I meant. I came here to get away from Nick, not to constantly see him everywhere I go which I'm sure he will do now.
Nick smiles getting towards the couch and sitting next to me, I move my hands from the couch putting them on my lap as he moves closer not giving me an option to move further because Zion was beside me.
N: Hey dude
Nick greets Zion as he does the same
Z: Sup
Zion answers glancing over at him
N: Oh nothing what you watching
He asks as awkwardly sit there looking at him through my side eye
Z: Just sum random
He adds as Nick nods
N: I see
Nick states as he turns his head to look at me. I continue looking towards the tv as he stares at me making me feel low-key uncomfortable but more so intimidated. I lightly fidget with my fingers not knowing what to do. That's when I feel Nick move closer to my ear
N: Hey Baby girl
My heart start beating faster as I feel his hot breath on my ear and neck. I ignore him as his hand travels to thigh to grab my hand intertwining our fingers together. I look down at our interlocked fingers as I move out of his grasp getting off the couch.
I start making my way to the staircase as I see Maya running towards Nick from the backyard smiling her arms open wide as she see's her father
M: DADDYYYY
She exclaims as I smile
M: Your... here
She says as he engulfs her in a huge warm hug low-key making my heart melt but I had to be strong.
N: How is my princess
He asks fixing her hair looking at her with love as she widely smiles looking back at him. She admires him so much and I just love that. But then I get reminded of Emma and her hateful actions and words.
I look down wiping the small tear that escapes my eyes walking up the stairs towards the room as I hear footsteps following me up I then turn around to see an excited Maya standing behind me
Y/n: Oh hey sweetie
I say as she runs up to me hugging my leg
M: Mommy, Mommy..... Daddy here
She says cheering looking up at me as I chuckle nodding
Y/n: Yes Maya I know, are you happy
She nods happily, of course she's happy she's missed him so much and I mean their so close. He really is an amazing Dad.
M: YES
She expresses as I smile grabbing her hand
Y/n: Good, so shall we get ready for bed
I ask as we start walking towards the bedroom.
**20 minutes later**
I had just finished reading Maya her storybook as she fell asleep by the last page. I sit there patting her head as I admire her and think of how much I love her. She really is one of the best things.
I then close the side lamp putting the book to side as I make my way to the door cause I forgot my phone downstairs. I open the door to see Nick standing there
Y/n: Jheez
I say getting lightly as he chuckles. I roll my eyes as I walk out the room but he stops me. Blocking my way, I try to move from different sides but he too slick.
Y/n: Could you get out of my way
I finally speak not making eye contact with him
N: I don't want to
He replies as I look down trying not to look into his eyes cause I know if I do I would melt, I would fall in love all over again if I do. But I'm angry, and I'm mad how can I forget what he did.
He moves closer to me making my back touch the rim of the wall as he brings his hand on my chin lifting my face up.
N: Look at me Y/n
He says my name as I try resist, but I do as he says. We make eye contact as he lightly smiles
N: I missed you
He states innocently as I chuckle
Y/n: Oh really you still do that, I thought you had Emma to help you forget
I state firmly as he intertwines our hands together
N: It was mistake, I messed up she was the one that kiss-
Y/n: Nick stop, I don't wanna hear anything what happened especially Emma for that matter
I say cutting him off as he gives me soft face
N: She's gone, I kicked her out. I love you
He expresses coming close to my lips as I turn my head the other way
Y/n: Just leave me alone
I declare making him kiss my neck a couple of times
N: Thats. Not. Possible
He adds in between pecking my neck, I grab either sides of face looking into his eyes as he does the same
Y/n: I mean it
I state letting go of his face and walking away
N: Y/n... here's your phone
I stop halfway, clenching my jaw and turning around walking back towards him. I grab the phone from his hand as he caresses my skin
N: I'm gonna give up easy, I love you
He says kissing my cheek as he walks into his old room.
