Y/n POV
Nick and I were sitting on the counter of the bathroom as I open up the first aid kit. I take out the wipes to clean the blood. I smile looking at him as I grab his hand to clean off his knuckles.
I lightly clean the his skin as he hisses staring at me.
Y/n: I'm so sorry about him this wasn't supposed happen I legit told you not to come. Why?? Did you have to get hurt
I ask as I look at him but he doesn't really say anything I hope he isn't mad at me.
Once his hand is clean, I look at his face taking out a new wipe. I grab his chin feeling his stubble on my skin moving closer towards him to clean his bruised cheekbone. I look into eyes confused
Y/n: Nick what is it, you literally haven't said anything in the last 20 minutes your concerning me
I confess as he glances at me cleaning his cheek, he clears his throat
N: I was in the staircase when I heard you tell him how you two got together something about being lonely and understanding each other and then you told him that you can get him kicked off the team??
He questions I could understand why Nick was confused so I decided to tell him the truth
Y/n: Well last year after I came back to New Jersey I was really lonely I liked you a lot and I was in pain the we weren't together. I met Mike when the Dean of the school asked me to help with his community service hours. He got into a fight with one of the players from the other team and in order for him to stay on the team he had to be clean. So I was in charge of him and his behaviour in the volunteering service. We interned together and got close cause he had been through a break up and we were both lonely. Although he was a nice guy he always made me feel like I was a project someone that needs guidance.
I explain as Nick nods not saying anything
Y/n: Look Nick I understand if you don't wanna be with me I mean I love you but if you have any doubts it would be best if we clear it up before going into a relationship together.
I remove the wipe from his face looking down into my lap. I felt sad I mean I honestly don't know what Nick is thinking. He brings his hand to my chin lifting it up to meet his gorgeous brown eyes
Y/n: I'm so sorry about all the things he said, he's a jerk. You probably hate me
I state getting a little emotional
N: Never. I love you and I mean it. I don't care what he said, that cannot change how I feel for you. When I say I trust you I do. There's not a speck in my heart that doubts you. It takes courage to say what you said as and you did. I would never treat you like a project.
He says grabbing my hand and looking at my red bruised knuckles. He brings my hand to his lips placing a soft kiss on each knuckle giving me light chills and butterflies.
N: I think what you did was so sexy
He mumbles on my wrist kissing it. He intertwines our fingers together looking into my eyes. He pulls as close as possible pulling my legs up to rest on his lap.
N: I came here to get you back with you so why would I not wanna be with you. I don't care where we live as long as we're together because I wanna make you happy.
I grin ear to ear at his words tasting like candy
N: Why would I leave one of the most important people in my life. Your more then my girlfriend
I smile pecking his cheek in love
N: Your my lover, your my heart and your a mother to Maya
He explains as I grab both side of his face and smile looking into his eyes
Y/n: You make me happy
I state
N: So are you coming to LA with me, we can live together raise Maya together
He asks excited as I nod happily, I feel myself getting emotional water forming in my eyes thinking about all the sweet things he said
N: I wanna spend my life with YOU, I wanna be with YOU, who would have thought the innocent girl that's my neighbour that I fall in love with was YOU and it will always be YOU. I LOVE YOU
He says as a tear escapes my eyes
N: Are you crying
I shake my head
Y/n: It's happy tears
I chuckle as he kisses my cheek where my tear fell
N: Good
He answers as I look into his eyes and then lips
N: Kiss me
He says as I take that is as a cue; I grab his face attaching our lips together. He instantly kisses back as I smile into the kiss.
Y/n: I. LOVE. YOU. SO MUCH
I reply into the kiss as he bits my bottom lip. I put my hand on his thigh as he continues to kissing me getting to my neck as I grab his hands caressing the skin on his hand lightly smirking. I pull his head back a little pecking his lips passionately.
Y/n: Maybe we can go into my room
I say glancing at him then his lips. His eyes dilating full of lust as goosebumps arise on both our skins; He bites his lip nodding as I jump off the counter and he follows me into my room.
