Y/n POV
Y/n: How long till we get home
I whine as Nick and I drove on a one way road coming back from our picnic
N: Maybe 30-40 more minutes
He answers chuckling as I pout my lips. I started looking out the window to the beautiful view it was 5 in the evening, the sun was perfectly shining, there were sunflowers covering the sides of road. I grinned ear to ear, as I could feel Nick look at me here and there.
After about 5 minutes of hesitation I finally look at him smiling
Y/n: What's up
He smiles back revealing his dimple
N: Nothing I was just thinking, I know this beautiful place coming on one of the turns, and I was wondering if you would wanna see it
I immediately started nodding
Y/n: For sure
I smile widely as he stops the car turning right. He drove down a small hill and parked the car right beside a beautiful river.
Y/n: This is beautiful
I glance over at him to his him already looking at me
N: Come on
He signals as I walk out of the car to the gorgeous nature view. I look around as the breeze perfectly flows through my hair, and my dress. I smile enjoying myself as it felt like I was in a music video.
I then look over at Nick too see him admiring and smiling at me
Y/n: You really do like to stare don't you
I tease giggling and grabbing his chin with my hand to move it to the other side. He immediately moves his face back grinning
N: Yeah, I mean when someones so beautiful its hard to look at the things around you
He expresses as I feel his hand touch the surface of mine. I instantly blush and have butterflies roaming my stomach. I'm suspired someone like Nick was even paying attention to me.
Nick's been very attentive lately, he always notices everything I do and makes an effort to interact with me. I mean I do kinda have this thing for him but I didn't think he feels the same way. This summer he's been acting so different, by doing the smallest things he leaves such a great impact on me like always staring, winking and lightly touching me some how. Even his words feel like sparks to me.
It's funny how he acts sometimes like whenever I talk to anyone he tends to distract me, catch me off guard. I'm not gonna lie I was really falling for him which is a first cause I haven't really felt this way about anyone before.
He made me believe he feels the same but I don't know for sure. See the thing is my older brother Brandon isn't really gonna be up to the idea of his younger sister being with his best friend in a romantic way.
I snapped out of my thoughts and smiled. I moved closer to the river taking off my sandals. I put my feet in the water and looked back at Nick
Y/n: I hope you don't mind getting your feet wet
I say kicking my sandals off and stepping into the water. He follows my actions kicking off his shoes and tucking his socks into his sneakers.
I stretch my hand back reaching for his as he walks closer to me intertwining his hand into mine. It felt perfect like the two hands were meant to fit. We grin at each other as I kick the water on his leg playfully
N: Hey what do you think your doing
I giggle as he wraps his arms around my waist, We look into each other's eyes as I watch his pupils dilate.
