Nabi's POV
"I know exactly who you are," Zuho said. I raised my eyebrow again and stayed quiet for a few seconds. Then I started laughing. "Oh really? Tell me, who am I?" I asked while chuckling a little. Taeyang was looking at me with a weird look while the others were confused. Zuho gave me a mischievous smile. "You're Cha Nabi, Homeless since the age of 8. You're 20 years old as of right now. You have a little sister called Cha Haeun. You've been working everywhere that pays enough. You were involved in some illegal business. You were a boxer for the longest time under the name Geurimja, you did quite well and even became famous. After that, you disappeared for a while, and then not so long ago you showed up again" Zuho said.
I had a look on my face of surprise. He knew me better than I thought he would. "You were the chick that fought in the ring against oasaessin?" Taeyang asked me while raising an eyebrow. "Y-yes" I stuttered. "A girl that can fight?" Rowoon asked. "Okay, look, I may look innocent and weak but I lived on the streets as a girl, I had no choice but to train a bit okay" I explained. "I mean yeah?" Chani asked himself more than he asked me. Taeyang looked at me with disbelief. "I don't buy anything from it. Zuho, are you sure she's the one that fought?" He asked. "Yes, but I'm not done talking yet. She was in the apartment complex fire that the one and only Mr.Cha started. Cha Nabi, Mr.Cha, Doesn't that ring a bell?" Zuho asked. I looked down as soon as I heard that name. Taeyang's eyes grew wide as he quickly stood up and pulled a gun towards me.
"Get up!" Taeyang ordered me. "What, why? What did I do wrong?" I asked. "You're his daughter. Get out of my house you filthy b**ch" Taeyang said. I looked him straight in the eyes and all I saw was anger and pain. I was about to cry because I really didn't do anything wrong. My dad really screws everything up for me. I sighed and got up. "Nabi, are you really his daughter?" Rowoon asked. I gave him a sad expression and then looked at everybody, they were shocked while Zuho was smiling evilly. I looked at Taeyang who was ready to shoot me whenever he wanted.
I walked towards Taeyang and put my own head against the barrel of the gun. I knew this was a bad idea since I wasn't close to Taeyang and he already hated me before he even knew who my dad was. "You really have the balls to stand there like that? You really think I won't shoot you?" Taeyang asked. Tears were finally starting to form in my eyes. "Look, I don't know what my father did to you but it looks like you want to kill him. I don't care if you shoot me or not. I never had a good life. My dad kicked me out of my home 12 years ago and I had to go through some bad stuff to get to the point I am now. So, if you want to shoot me to get to my dad for whatever reason, it won't work because he doesn't give a crap about his daughters. He doesn't care for us. When my little sister was born 6 years ago, he immediately found where I was and left her with me. I had to take care of my sister at the age of 14. I had to protect myself and my sister from the outside world and my dad. So, whatever you're feeling towards my dad right now, I feel it way worse than you do" I said while trying not to cry too loud.
Everybody was quiet for a while. Taeyang looked down at the floor as he was trying to think what to do or say. He suddenly looked up and tightened his grip on the gun. "You have no idea what he's done to my family. You have no idea how much hatred I feel towards your family. I knew I had to trust my gut and hate you" Taeyang said as tears were forming in his eyes too now. "Listen, I wanna kill my dad as much as you do. But he has kidnapped my sister and I am not sure how she's doing right now. I don't even know if she's alive" I said while finally really crying and letting all my tears go.
Taeyang was about to cry too but as soon as a tear left his eye silently, he got angry. He threw the gun to the other side of the room as it shot a bullet and hit a vase. He turned towards me and puts his hands around my throat. I was struggling to get some air. "Taeyang, please. Get off of her. She didn't do anything wrong. Did you not listen to her story?!" Rowoon yelled as both he and Jaeyoon tried to get him off of me.
Just as this all happened, someone came into the house "Inseong?" I heard Chani ask. I was about to pass out from the lack of oxygen when Inseong ran towards us and with all his strength he pulled Taeyang off of me. "TAEYANG! GET TO YOUR SENSES!" Inseong yelled. "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO SHE IS! SHE'S THAT MONSTER'S DAUGHTER" Taeyang yelled at Inseong. As I was trying to catch my breath Rowoon and Hwiyoung helped me up and sat me down on a chair. "Let's go outside for a while and talk," Inseong said to Taeyang as they both got up from the floor and walked out of the house as Zuho followed behind them.
Taeyang's POV
"Listen, she's not worth it. I don't know her side of the story, but you can't just kill her like that" Inseong said to me. "She needs to get out of here before I kill her immediately," I said. "I know you might feel that way towards her, but I bet she's done nothing wrong. From what I heard when I walked into the house, she had a reason. Rowoon said she had a story you might not have listened to" Inseong said. "Who says I didn't listen to her?" I asked. "Fine, did you listen to her?" Inseong asked me. I stayed silent. "That's what I'm talking about. Your anger got the best of you. You need to sort things out. Try to be friends with her" Inseong said. "Are you serious? Friends with a Cha?" I asked him while my blood started boiling again. "Stop. I know it might be hard, but you might get closer to what you want. Get closer to her, get closer to her dad. You know what I'm trying to say right?" Inseong asked.
I stayed silent for a while as I thought about it. "You have a good point. I might get to her dad easily if I become friends with her. I'll crush the Cha family no matter what. What they did to me when I was 10 years old will not be forgiven" I said. "Exactly. Now, just calm down and walk around for a while, I'm going to meet her myself" Inseong said. He walked away and Zuho came to walk beside me. "That girl could be the death of you. You should watch out with her" Zuho said. "Don't worry, nobody will even be able to touch us. She's nothing" I said to calm Zuho down.
"She sure does remind me of someone," Zuho said. "Don't even mention it. I know what you want to say but that's the exact reason I want to keep hating her" I said. "Okay, I'll talk about something else that's quite important. Your ex, she works at the casino Rowoon works right?" Zuho asked. "Yeah, why?" I asked. "I heard she's doing well, you know. She gets us money. Don't get too jealous or obsessive over her" Zuho said quite seriously. "Don't worry, I'm over her. She was a wh*re anyways" I said. "I can tell. But uhm, what exactly did she do to you? Or why did you two break up?" Zuho asked. "She... well she cheated on me, with an enemy," I said. "Which enemy?" Zuho asked. "I don't wanna get into it. Let's just go towards the store now that we're outside anyway" I said. "Okay, sure," Zuho says.
Nabi's POV
"Are you okay?" Hwiyoung asked me as he handed me a glass of water. I stayed silent as I was trying not to break down again. "You know, he didn't mean it like that" Jaeyoon said. I looked down at my hands and then at the guys. "What did my father do to him?" I asked as I looked down again. "It's not up to us to tell you that. Let's just say he hurt somebody that was very dear to him in difficult times" Rowoon said. I nodded. I wasn't going to cry because my dad made a mess of my life anymore. I was planning on destroying my dad's whole mafia after he kidnapped my sister. He might be my father, but he sure as hell isn't acting like one. I know my father killed a woman that was important a few years ago. Like, about 12 years ago.
"Can I at least ask what age Taeyang is?" I asked. They looked at me confused. "He's 22, why?" Rowoon asks. "No reason, I thought I was on something but I guess not," I said. That important woman must've been related to Taeyang. I'm going to find out who she was and what she was to Taeyang.
That's when someone knocked on the wall to let us know someone was there. "Inseong, where have you been man?" Chani asked. "I was on a mission, didn't Taeyang notify you?" Inseong asked. All the guys shook their heads. Inseong rolls his eyes and then he looks at me. "You must be Cha Nabi, right?" Inseong asked me. "Ah, yeah," I said while immediately looking down again. "It's okay, I'm here just to talk and introduce myself," Inseong said. I looked at Rowoon who nodded reassuringly. "I'm Inseong," He said as he stuck his hand out towards me. I took it and shook his hand. "You might need to explain to me what happened and what you said to Taeyang. He really didn't mean it that way, he's just very hurt and traumatized. So, could you please explain to me what happened?" Inseong asked me very politely.
I started explaining that Zuho knew who I was, That my name is Cha and who my father is. How it escalated and I explained what I said to Taeyang and how I hate my dad probably even more than he does and that my dad kidnapped his own 6-year-old daughter.
"Seems to me you're innocent. I apologize on Taeyang's behalf. He's really not okay since what happened to him because of your dad. I hope you two will get along soon and become friends. I heard from Jaeyoon you were staying with us?" Inseong asked. "Yeah, I don't have a home after my father exploded my home," I said. "Exploded? You were in the apartment complex fire?" Inseong asked. "Yeah, the fire started in my apartment, because my dad put a lighter in my microwave and broke a gas pipe... all because I didn't have the amount of money I needed to pay him on time," I said. "Why do you need to pay him money?" Inseong asked. "Because he's a lunatic. He kept saying how I ruined his life and I owe him money because I am still alive. If I ever get the chance, I'll kill him with my own hands, slowly until I'm satisfied" I said with a scary look in my eyes. "You really hate your dad huh?" Chani asked. "Let's not call him my dad anymore. He never behaved like one so he doesn't earn the title. Just call him Mr.Cha" I said. "Okay, fine," they all said.
That's when Taeyang and Zuho walked into the room. "You're back," Inseong said. "Yes, what did she say to you?" Taeyang asked. "Exactly the same as she told you before" Rowoon confirmed. I looked at Taeyang and he looked back at me. He sighed loudly.
"Follow me, we need to talk"
