After the fight with Shinsou, Izuku were about to go to the stands where his class was assigned to but he was confronted by his friends on the hallway.
"Hey Midoriya, what a relief, you almost lost there" said Mirio.
"Yeah, I thought you wouldn't break out of it" said Tamaki.
"Yeah I also tho- " Izuku was interrupted when Nejire hug him.
"Izuku! I almost thought you were gonna lose!!" cried Nejire who was worried.
"Geez Nejire, no need to worry, I won okay besides it wasn't alive or death situation or anything so no need to worry" said Izuki with a smile.
"Yeah but I was worried okay" said Nejire who was still hugging him.
"I know but at least I didn't lose right?" said Izuku.
"I guess your right" said Nejire.
"Now that's cleared, could you let go of me now your hug is so tight" said Izuku with a smile.
Nejire notice that she was still hugging him immediately went red as she let go and said "WAH! Sorry! "
Nejire was still blushing as she hears Mirio and Tamaki laughing at her as she look at Izuku who look confused.
"Hey Midoriya, you and Nejire look so cute together" teased Mirio with s laugh as Izuku tilt his with a comically question mark popping out of his head while Nejire was so flustered with steam coming out of her ears.
"Yeah I never seen Nejire like this before, she really really lik-" Tamaki was suddenly interrupted when Nejire grab his collar and Mirio as well as she dash away pulling them.
"SORRY IZUKU, WE'LL LEAVE YOU NOW SO GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT MATCH SOON" yelled Nejire as the three of them disappeared in a corner leaving Izuku confused.
'What was that all about?' Izuku thought as he continues his walk towards the stands as he sees his classmates.
"Hey guys!" called out Izuku.
"Midoriya! There you are, man I almost thought you were gonna lose that fight!" said Kirishima.
"No kidding, you were so close walking out that arena, I thought you almost forfeit!" said Kaminari.
"How did you break free from his control." said Toru.
"Oh maybe because I had a strong will to break free" said Izuku.
"It's a good thing you do, because I would hate seeing you lose that way!" said Mina with a concerned tone.
"Yeah I know but I still won, now then let's wait and watch the next match" said Izuku as he focus on the field with the others look at Midoriya with worried looks as Izuku notice this.
"Is something wrong?" asked Izuku.
"Yeah its just that, are you alright? Because we were kinda worried about you when that guy called you a Demon.." said Momo concerned.
"Oh that, no worries I'm fine guys," said Izuku.
"Are you sure Deku?" said Ochako.
"I'm sure, besides Shinsou apologized to me so no worries" said Izuku with a smile as all of them were convince now.
"O-Ok if you want someone to talk to, were here for you Izuku" said Momo.
"Yeah , she's right Midoriya, were here were your friends" said Mina.
"Thanks guys, now we should sit down to watch the next match." said Izuku.
"Yeah it's between Sero and Todoroki, now we get to see what were up against" said Mina.
"Hopefully it will show us how to beat them" said Toru.
Soon both Todoroki and Sero walk in the arena getting ready.
"Now let the match begin!" said Midnight.
"Man, I don't feel like I can win...." Sero said as he rolled his head, but he immediately shoots a stream of tape out of his elbow, wrapping it around Todoroki and spun him around. "......but I don't feel like losing either!"
Todoroki was unfazed but had unbelievable fury and hate in his eyes.
"Sorry" said Todoroki.
Then he immediately shot an Ice Glacier reaching the end of the stadium as Sero was half frozen in it. Everyone was speechless by what they saw.
"Sero Hanta is now unable to move so the winner is Shoto Todoroki!" announced Midnight.
Then Todoroki immediately unfreeze Sero.
"Sorry, I was angry" said Todoroki.
Meanwhile Izuku was thinking on his next match.
'So this is the power I'm up against but I'll manage it with Shadow Manipulation.' Izuku thought.
The next match went up and it was Ibara Vs Kaminari, but Kaminari lost horribly with a stupid grin which everyone saw it coming,
Then it was Lida vs Hatsume but it end up to be Hatsume using Lida to show of her gad-er-babies then she forfeit the match as Lida ended up winning but to Lida, he didn't think so after being used by his opponent.
Then next was the match between Mina and Aoyama but Aoyama end up losing with a stomachache making Mina push him out of bounds and also almost destroying his clothes.
"I guess it's time for my match now" said Momo.
"Yeah so good luck Momo" said Izuku.
Momo smiled as she left to go fight her match but during this Izuku could feel something shaking as he turn to see Ochako fidgeting.
"Hey Ochako you ok?" said Izuku.
"Huh oh yeah I'm fine, just a little nervous, after all I'm fighting Bakugo after Kirishima's match" said Ochako.
"Oh yeah I nearly forgot about that but I believe you'll do just fine" said Izuku.
"I can't believe how you can stay so calm Deku, I mean after my match you'll face Todoroki soon" said Ochako.
"Oh to be honest, I'm a bit nervous but I shook it off because I'm determined to win this and no matter how strong Todoroki is, I'll beat him anyway so you better calm down as well, take deep breaths and let it all out, it doesn't matter if you win or lose, the only thing that matters is that you gave it your all" said Izuku with a smile.
Ochako just nodded as she inhale and exhale 5 times as she stop shaking anymore as she smiled.
"Thanks Deku, for the advice" said Ochako
"No prob, Ochako, it's what friends do for" said Izuku with a smile as Ochako couldn't help but blush.
Soon they saw Momo walking into the arena and her opponent was Tokoyami.
" Alright if both sides are then let the mtch begin!" said Midnight
As the match begin, Momo immediately created a shield with her Quirk but Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to come at her with a barrage of attacks aimed at her shield while being pushed as even the shield was knock off causing Momo to create another one but still be bombarded by attacks not giving her a chance until he stop.
'Why did he stop attacking but not nows not the time to think' Momo thought as she was about to create something.
"Momo Yaoyorozu is out of bounds therefore Fumikage Tokoyami wins the match!" said Midnight.
This just left Momo feeling disappointed in herself as she exits the arena.
" Man I feel bad for Momo" said Ochako.
"Yeah but she did well and she can't let it destroy herself" said Izuku.
"Well the I should be going to prepare, hopefully I win my match" said Ochako.
"Good luck Ochako, and remember it doesn't matter if you win or lose, the only that matters is that you tried and besides I think you have a place anyway" ;said Izuku as he smiled.
Ochako smiled as she walk away to her match and soon Momo came and sat next to Izuku.
"Hey Momo, you okay?" said Izuku.
"No I don't think so, I'm sorry Izuku, I put a terrible impression in my skills and to my decision making skills as well" said Momo in a sad tone as he was about to cry.
"No don't be sorry, it's kinda alright since you did really well" said Izuku.
"How can you say that, I lost in the first match and the only reason that even got me here into the matches was because I listen to Todoroki's instructions, I didn't even think for myself" said Momo.
"Oh come on Momo, don't bring yourself so down, at least you tried, don't let this lost define you so you need to learn from it, you learn more from lost than victory, use that and someday you'll be an incredible hero and I know it, so at least cheer up and take my advice" said Izuku.
"Izuku how do you even know this?" said Momo.
"I just know, that's all and besides I learn from the best" said Izuku with a smile.
"I see but thank you Izuku for telling me this so I promise I'll do better throughout the year and I'll do better next time" said Momo.
"Glad to hear it Momo." said Izuku
"You know I never met a boy like you Izuku, your pretty wise" said Momo as she giggled as Izuku just laughed.
Then soon Kirishima match was up next as he walk into the arena and he was up against Tetsutetsu from Class 1-B, both went head-to-head fistfight but surprisingly both were evenly matched but in the end it was a tie and soon once the two came awake, they'll decide on how to settle it.
After that soon they heard Present Mic announced the next match between Bakugo and Ochako.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen, we have a match between Ochako Uraraka up against Katsuki Bakugo" announced Present Mic.
"I'll make this quick round face" said Bakugo.
"Round face!?" said Ochako.
"Now then let the match begin!" said Midnight.
Soon Ochako came charging at Bakugo keeping low to the ground.
"I'm going to win this" said Ochako.
But she was met with an explosion but Ochako got up and kept going at Bakugo but for the same thing to happen over and over again, as this kept going on, one of the Heroes called out to Bakugo.
"Hey jus trying knock her off out of bounds already, we know that you're better!" said Hero.
But Bakugo never pay attention to it as he only kept attacking Ochako.
"If you came here to be a hero then stop bullying the poor girl!" said Heroine.
"He's right, just end this already" said Hero.
Soon the whole spectators started to boo at Bakugo as he ignored them and remain focus on Ochako.
"I have to say this a little much but I have to agree with the- GAH!" Present Mic was interrupted with an elbow in the gut by Aizawa.
"What the heck man what was that for!" said Present Mic groaning in pain.
Aizawa took the mic from him and speak.
"Who was the one who started this and if your a hero then you should quit, Bakugo is being careful because he's acknowledge the strength of his opponent who gas made it this far. It's because he's doing everything he can to win so he can't go easy and also not letting his guard down, and if you call him a bully the look at the mirror" said Aizawa as the crowd went silent after his statement.
"Whoa I didn't think you would defend your students!" said Present Mic in surprised only to be met with another elbow in the gut.
"Gah!....and your back to your grumpy self again..." said Present Mic as he falls down.
After awhile of Ochako charging at Bakugo she stop.
"Thank you Bakugo..." Ochako said as she readied to touch her fingertips together ".....for not letting your guard down".
"Huh?"
Then Bakugo look up and went shocked to see all the debris he just blast off while attacking Ochako was floating in the air.
"RELEASE!"
As soon as her fingertips touch, all the floating debris came flying down at the stage. Everyone thought that this was it and Ochako has won,
But Bakugo raise his right hand in the air as he fired a gigantic explosion destroying everything in the airas some debris went into the rooftops and the blast send Ochako a few meters away on the ground.
"That was close" said Bakugo.
"N-No way, that was e-everything I had.." said Ochako weakly.
But she couldn't help but get up weakly and keep going for the win.
'I have to keep going for my parents, for D-Deku...' Ochako thought.
Bakugo was ready to attack but he saw Ochako collapse and Midnight came immediately to check.
"Uraraka is unable to battle, therefore Bakugo will be moving forward!" said Midnight.
Soon medic bots came and took Uraraka away as Bakugo left. During this Izuku just sighed and stood up from his seat "Im gonna go check Ochako.." said Izuku to Momo as she nodded.
Soon Izuku made it to the waiting room to find Ochako all patched up.
"Hey Deku, that Bakugo was sure is strong, he didn't hold back at all" said Ochako.
"Ochako you alright?" asked Izuku.
"Of course I am, I know I lost but I'm not bummed at all!" said Ochako with a smile.
Izuku couldn't help but stare at Ochako for a bit with a concern look as he sighed and out of nowhere he hugs her.
"D-Deku what are you doing" said Ochako all flustered.
"Come on Ochako, you can't hide from me, I know when someone is pretending, so don't feel that way, like I said before it doesn't matter if you win or lose, the only thing that matters was that you tried your best, and besides you were incredible out there and even our other classmates agree, even Kacchan since he took you on seriously, so cheer up, your gloomy face doesn't go well with your cuteness" said Izuku with a smile but inside he was sad for Ochako.
At this Ochako couldn't help but be all flustered.
"D-Deku I -" Ochako was about to say something but they heard her phone ring as Ochako look at it.
"Who's calling you?" asked Izuku.
"M-my Dad.." said Ochako as Izuku nodded.
Then they heard Present Mic on the speaker.
"Alright, the match between Kirishima and Tetsutetsu has been decided, Kirishima will be moving on" said Present Mic.
"Oh my God Deku, you didn't have time to prepare because you were focus on me!" said Ochako
"Nah, it's fine, it's not like I was preparing or anything besides I aim to win so I should be going now" said Izuku.
"Yeah I should call back my parents anyway" said Ochako.
Izuku nodded and smiled as he left the room, then Ochako proceeded to call her parents back and couldn't help but cry from the love and support her Father is giving but instead of being sad, she had a smile due to her conversation with Izuku but during this when Izuku was making his way o the arena, he encountered Endeavor.
"Endeavor" said Izuku not surprised.
"There you are, I watched your fight. You truly have a remarkable Quirk, being able to create so much force and power and such speed as well leaving a large crater, but if we're talking about power alone, yours would seem comparable to All Might's if you went all out." said Endeavor.
Izuku could only stare as he knows where this is going " I have to go and get ready for my match" Izuku bluntly said as ushered himself as he past him.
Until Endeavor spoke again, " It is my Shoto's duty to surpass All Might"
Izuku stopped in his tracks as he heard him say that.
"His match with you will be a very instructive test, so please don't disgrace yourself in it, or it'll discouraged my son as well" continued Endeavor.
Izuku's mind flashed back to everything Todoroki had said before, making him clench his hands into a fists.
"That was all I wanted to say. I apologize for bothering you right before your match." as he finished.
Endeavor started to walking away heading back towards the audience section.
But this time, Izuku was the one to say something to him to stop him "I am not All Might...."
Endeavor paused and turn his head to him," Thats obviou-"
"Obvious right?" interrupted Izuku,
He then turned his head at Endeavor with a glare.
"And Todoroki isn't you either" said Izuku
Endeavor who was looking at Izuku immediately felt the air around him suddenly got heavy as he look at the source only to sweat a lot as he look at Izuku in an ominous aura whose eyes were shadowed by his hair but his left eye was glowing red as Endeavor could feel that he was being stared right at his soul but soon went away when Izuku turn and walk away.
'Wha-What was that! It's like that kid could killed me any moment ' thought Endeavor as he took a deep breath as he walk away, an image of Izuku killing him appearing in his head.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, the first match of the second round will be a big one!! The man who won a huge victory in the first round and literally left the audience frozen is Shoto Todoroki!!! announced Present Mic.
Todoroki came out of the right side to the arena as the crowd cheered louder.
"Then we also have our powerful speedy man who nearly walk out his last is Izuku Midoriya!!!"
Izuku came out on the left side as he went into the arena then came face to face with Todoroki but was in a reasonable distance away as the crowds cheer got any louder than before.
"So....you're here Midoriya..." Todoroki said.
"Yeah, I hope you give it your all" was all Izuku could respond as he had a sad look.
After that both came to silence as they wait for their match to begin.
During this silence, Ochako made her way back to the class stands.
"Hey guys did Deku's match started yet?" said Ochako.
All of them turn and saw that her eyes were still red and puffy from the crying.
"Uraraka, what happened are you alright, your eyes are so red, you should go to Recovery Girl" said Lida.
"No, Im fine, I was just a little sad back there but I'm fine now thanks to Deku." said Ochako with a smile and slight blush.
"That's good to hear, I guess you should take a seat, the match is about to start" said Momo as Ochako nodded.
In the other side with the Big three, Nejire was cheering for Izuku loudly but the crowd noise was preventing it from reaching Izuku.
"GO IZUKU, YOU CAN WIN THIS!!!!" Nejire cheered as she jumped up and down again.
"N-Nejire pls stop shouting you're causing a scene here, besides Midoriya can't hear you" said Tamaki nervous as many people were looking at them.
"Let her be Tamaki, we can't stop her just let her cheer on her crush.." said Mirio.
Nejire heard this as she couldn't help but blush but she kept cheering on then soon the fight has begun.
"BEGIN!!" announced Midnight.
