Back at the prison
"Hey" Mark said coming in
"Hello" I said while trying to finish my essay
"Homework?" He asked and I gave him a 'really?' look
"How does this sound?" I asked "to articulate is to I love you Zaynie bear?"
"I don't think you'll get a good grade with that" he said with a snigger
"Why are you sniggering?" I asked. What was funny about a homework mistake?
"Babe we don't live in the 50's anymore" he said "no English men uses the word sniggering anymore"
"Shut up" I whined "get out"
"Tell Zaynie bear I love him too" he smirked
"I was chatting with him and I got distracted" I said beating him with my pillows
"OK OK" he said as I pushed him out
"Bye" I said
"Wait I have to as-" I stopped him
"What's that?" I asked slowly closing the door "I can't hear you"
"I have to ask y-" I cut him off
"Speak louder" I said
"I ha- oh for fucks sake open the damn door Heaven" he said and I gaped at him
"Don't use that kind of language" I scolded while smacking him
"Whatever" he said with an eye roll "now, I have to ask you something"
"What?" I asked
"Do you remember Jade?" He said as a smirk grew on my face
"Of course I do" I said "I had lunch with her the other day"
"C-can you maybe ask her out for me?" He stuttered
"No"' I said " I'm the only important girl in your life, I can and will not be replaced "
"Please?" He pouted and gave me a saddened look
"You're just lucky I love you" I said and he engulfed me in a hug "just make sure this one's sane, the last one kidnapped my fiancé and attempted to murder us"
"What?" He asked wide eyed
"Oh you know" I started "the girl you told 'hell yeah, she's my sister' to"
"Nya tried to kill you?" He said and I sighed in annoyance
"I just told you that" I said "if Louis' an idiot, I don't know what to call you"
"Huh?" He asked. I slammed the door

"Today we are blah blah blah" was all I heard from the Art's teacher
"Psst" I heard. I turned to see a lad handing me a note

A grammar course? Tonight at eight? -H
I passed the note back to the lad. It landed right back on my desk
Meet me by the tree -H

"You're dismissed" the teacher said as the bell went off. I knew I would have to pass the tree on my way to my room. I saw a figure waiting by the tree. Stalker much? I ran past them as fast as I could
Nope! No tree visits for me today

"Open the door" I heard as the banging continued. I groaned and yanked the door open
"what?" I asked jumping up and down in annoyance "what do you want?"
"I told you to meet me by the tree" Hunter said
"Well I don't care" I said "go away now"
"Do you really wanna make me angry?" He said gripping my hand
"Do you really wanna die?" I said pushing him off "don't touch me you tosser"
He did something I never thought he'd do...well I expected it. He smacked me. Square across my face
"Listen here woman" he started
"No you listen here man" I said smacking him back "I don't know what kind of cliche fantasy world you live in, but you will not put your hands on me. I dare you, try it again"
"I'll be back" he said with a pissed off look
"Bye" I said shutting the door and locking it behind me. I knew my roommate wouldn't be back for a while. She's one of those girls that spend every night partying and never even step a foot in their room unless its to get ready for a party
"Hello?" Zayn said as I rang him
"Babe" I started "is murder legal if everyone hates him?"
"I hope not" he said with a chuckle "what kind of question is that?"
"Just wanted to make sure" I said "how you doing?"
"I'm alright" he said "I miss you though"
"Me too" I said. A sudden bang came from outside "what was that?"
"Heaven" the person repeated
"I gotta go Zayn" I said hanging up. I yanked open the door to see Lance
"What?"
"Mark" was all he said
"What?" I asked confused
"Him and Hunter" he said. My eyes widened and I followed him. Oh my gosh!
"Mark" I said as one of Hunter's mates held him down. The rest were attacking him. I ran but was stopped "let me go"
The mystery person held me back
"Mark" I shouted as they kicked him repeatedly "Hunter"
Everyone was ignoring me
"Hunter" I begged "please stop"
I tired to fight the person off but all they did was tighten their grip
"Please let go" I begged "Hunter, please"
He hit him one last time before turning to me
"I warned you didn't I?" He said with a smirk. I elbowed the person holding me and stomped over to him. I kneed him where I shouldn't and punched him in his nose
"I warned you didn't I?" I mocked "I swear if anything happens to my brother, I will fucking murder you"
"Heaven" Lance said "its not worth it"
"Why didn't you help?" I asked as tears streamed down my face "why?"
"He told me he needed you" he said pulling me into his chest. I pushed him off me and went over to Mark
"Mark?" I said taking his hand "are you OK?"
He wasn't moving
"Mark?" I said shaking him "don't do this to me, please stop it isn't funny"
"The paramedics are on their way" Lance said
"I'm so sorry" I whispered to what was left of my brother "I'm sorry"

"Mark?" I begged "please wake up"
All I could hear were the beepings from the heart monitor indicating that he was still alive
"Please?" I said
"Let him rest" a doctor said coming in, followed by mum and dad. I ran over to dad and jumped into his arms. I felt nothing. He wasn't hugging back. I let him go. He watched me with an angry look while mum's was cold
"Daddy?" I said and he looked away. I guess they're blaming me
"We let you into our home" mum started "we loved you and took care of you, is this how you repay us? By nearly killing our son?"
"W-what?" I said "but I d- mum I swear"
"I don't wanna hear it" she said "just go"
"But i-" she stopped me with a raise of her hand. I sighed and left the room

Lance's p.o.v
I watched her. She looked as if she'd gone mad
"And then they disowned me" she explained to God know what
"Heaven?" I called. She turned to me with a smile
"Hey Lance" she smiled "what's up?"
"Are you OK?" I asked and she giggled
"Why wouldn't I be?" She said "my brother's about to die and my parents hate me, but you know? Life is brilliant"
"I'm sorry" I said scooping her up and into my arms
"They hate me" she cried "I was just some charity case"
"I'm sure that's not true" I said
"I think I'd rather be lonely and in an orphanage" she said "I wish they had never adopted me. I wish I was never born"
"Please don't speak that way" I begged
"Who cares?" She said "I'm gonna die anyways. Can I tell you a secret?"
"What?" I asked
"I took a bunch of pills" she whispered "I don't think they're working, I was supposed to be dead by now"
"What?" I shouted "how much pills did you take?"
"Almost the whole jar" she said "but they were yummy"
"You could die" I shouted at her. She bursted into tears
"They were only vitamins" she said "they were just so good"
"You almost gave me a heart attack because you ate vitamins?" I asked
"They were Flintstones" she smiled "they are good"
"Doctor" I called "she needs help"
"She looks fine" a nurse said
"Her brother's on critical condition and now she's gone mad" I said "she ate a whole bottle of vitamin pills and now she's speaking to imaginary people"
"Don't listen to him Jessica" she said "you're real to me"
"I'll take her" she said leading a smiling Heaven away. I took out my cell and went to my contacts
"Hello?" Robin asked
"Meet me at the hospital" I said before hanging up. I heard a cry and an emergency bell went off. It was coming from Mark's room
