Couple month has passed and Mary was not doing well and Archie was scared not just for him but for Jess while Mary planned last moment for the funeral with everyone. Jess has been working nonstop and helping her kids and Godkids. The day before she passed Jess couldn't sleep she just prayed nonstop and the hardest part the anniversary of her mother passing was tomorrow and it was only 10:00. When she got up, Jughead had received the news through Archie and Jess was frustrated as she was anxious to go to the hospital as she received the text from Veronica that Mary wanted Jess.
"Come on Jughead start the car. Please start I am begging you!"
Jughead did he knew she was overtired but they went and ran toward the hospital at this point Jess wasn't told or informed of the news. She made it and got to the door thinking that she was on time. Sadly she recognized the priest who did the prayed over her mom at her last hospital visit.
"I'm here Godmommy need to see me?"
Veronica got the sense that Jess read her text. Veronica along with Daniella walked over and they hugged her as they sobbed.
"She gone, Jessie." Daniella said.
Jessica felt this sting in her heart the same sting when her father broke the news on this day. Archie could see her face of sadness took over but she weakly admits.
"Today is my mom Heavenly anniversary. So I guess Godmommy wanted to be back to her best friend."
Veronica was stunned and whispered to Archie.
Jess felt small in that moment. With the help from Daniella, she wheeled towards the bed and she looked at her mom as Mary look so peaceful. Jessica remember her mom looked the same way at the viewing. She said.
"I am sorry mommy, I did everything I could. I hope you are with my Momma and give her a hug."
Veronica and Archie pulled her into a hug as she broke down she felt like she was back at the age of 10. Archie said holding her.
"We will get through it, V and I promise mom to take care of you. Mom passed the torch to us. We will not let your mother down."
Jessica said.
"What did mom want to say? She said she needed me."
Veronica struggle to speak but Daniella said.
"She loved you so very much and you were the best thing that ever happened to her and Fred was being your godparents. Take comfort in that."
She smiled as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Are you kidding me, they were the best Godparents my parents ever chosen and my heart is at peace that they are all together again."
Archie agreed.
"Same here. I remember that they both misses your parents even when they have the urge to call them but then the reality hit them tons."
Jess sighed.
"I can only imagine."
Jughead hugged her from behind.
"I'm sorry, Babe."
Jess sighed and said to Veronica.
"I had a feeling all night. I was wide awake as if an angel told me it time to go but I kept thinking should I roll over here or something and I got your message regarding mom wanted to see me I just rolled to the car and begged Jug to get here to see mom. I was so scared."
Everyone was speechless. Jess continues.
"I knew what the anniversary today, but I was thinking mom was ok I have time and as came to the door, I recognized the priest he did my mom a prayer too."
The Priest was speechless.
"Jessica Martin?"
Jess nodded.
"Yep."
He looked at Mary then back at Jess trying to figure out how they were connected. Jess backed against the wall from the memory she recalled that night.
"That was my mom, best friend she was standing here right next to me as you prayed over mom."
The priest couldn't remember until a nurse, Angel who cared for Emily came in.
"I was there that night. I took a photo of everyone praying."
She pulled up the photo from her phone and showed Jess.
"Is this it? I remember you singing to your mom."
Jess was speechless exactly from memory.
"Yes this is it! Oh my gosh."
She had tears streaming down her cheeks as everyone gasped and saw the photo. She showed the priest and then she explained.
"That was my godmother."
The priest said.
"Oh now I remember you asked her and Fred in your little voice. Godmother and God daddy, Mommy is going to be ok?"
Jess repeated from memory as her eyes were shut.
"Godmother and God daddy, Mommy is going to be ok?"
She opened her eyes in shock as Jug held her hand.
"Boy they tried everything to assure me that she will be ok. Same with your parents, Juggie."
Angel said hugging her.
"I'm so happy to see you again! Your mom would have been so proud."
She then texted the photo to Jess.
The other nurse, Sasha who cared for Emily was speechless to see Jess.
"Oh my goodness, little Jess. I remember you singing with your mom! Wait, I have the video."
She went to the cart and grabbed her cell pulling up the video.
"Here it is."
Jughead and everyone gather around to watch the video.
In the video Emily weakly motioned Jess to come over and bring Archie over.
Archie said as he recognized himself.
"That's me!"
She had Mary place Archie on Emily's lap. Jess nervously sang while holding Archie's hand and her mother.

Archie being 5, haven't had an idea what is happening, but he nodded.
"Yes Godmommy! I will be there for Jessica no matter how big I get and I will make you and Goddaddy PROUD!"
Everyone laughed.
Emily turned to Jess and said.
"You my angel, take care of everyone in the room and I will be watching over you no matter what you understand?"
Jess nodded not getting the reality of the situation but she pinky swears.
"Promise. You will come to the dance recital right?"
Emily sighs pinky swears but say yes anyway.
The video ended and Jess said.
"So I do remember you being there, but I guess because of my dad didn't mention you when you were born and your parents became officially parents, because he was busy at work. So all I knew they were your Godparents! Thank you, Sasha for the proof that Archie and I were there for my mom. I will say this Arch, you have kept mom's promise and she would have been so proud of you."
Archie tears up after seeing the video, he clearly remembered everything of his Godparents. He said to Jess.
"I always have your back no matter what."
Sasha then send the video to Jess and then Jess sent it to Archie. The Priest hugged Jess.
After the funeral planning and arrangements, Jess was tired at this point and she could barely stay awake. Archie could see she was fighting it so he gently went back in the room and sat on the floor with her against the wall fighting sleep until she rested her head against her brother, she was tucked out. Sasha quietly brought a blanket to keep Jess warm and left them alone. Hours later Jug, Daniella and Veronica came in and took a photo of them fast asleep.

Jess you will get through it! I know you are hurting so much 😭 I wish I could take every damn pain away from you, just to bring everyone back. You are the strongest person I know and my parents are watching over you with tears in their eyes. AANDREWS: Archie, thank you for being there for her and I am so very sorry for your loss.
Archie woke up first as he was feeling hungry but at the same time, he didn't want to disturb Jess so Veronica fed him dinner which was pizza. Then Jess finally woke up as Jug greeted her.
"Hey Princess slept well?"
Jess rubbed her eyes.
"How long was I out?"
Archie admits.
"Quite awhile."
She said.
"So sorry."
Archie said.
"Don't you ever be sorry."
