After hearing everyone testimony from each side the jury said that Joshua will be sentenced for life in prison without parole. Jessica was so relieved that she could breathe.

"Oh thank you, your Honor."

She sobbed tears of joy.

In the car a Rascal Flatts song came on and Jess remembered this song played months earlier as she was on the bus heading to Riverdale from NY and she sang along to it as Fred, Mary, Archie and Jughead Listened.

"I've dealt with my ghosts and I've faced all my demons
Finally content with a past I regret
I've found you find strength in your moments of weakness
For once I'm at peace with myself
I've been burdened with blame, trapped in the past for too long
I'm movin' on

I've lived in this place and I know all the faces
Each one is different but they're always the same
They mean me no harm but it's time that I face it
They'll never allow me to change
But I never dreamed home would end up where I don't belong
I'm movin' on

I'm movin' on
At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me
And I know there's no guarantees, but I'm not alone
There comes a time in everyone's life
When all you can see are the years passing by
And I have made up my mind that those days are gone

I sold what I could and packed what I couldn't
Stopped to fill up on my way out of town
I've loved like I should but lived like I shouldn't
I had to lose everything to find out
Maybe forgiveness will find me somewhere down this road
I'm movin' on

I'm movin' on
I'm movin' on."

Jess was smiling.

"Just happy that I can literally move on from Josh which is why I came here with the intention of that and find you, dad for my dad's funeral.

The day before I left to come, I remembered the funeral director hated me and literally hoped that I never find you since I had a deadline he given me. So when I got on the bus, the song played and I felt comfort that Riverdale would be my next journey."

Archie was stunned.

"Seriously? Never knew this story with the funeral director."

Jess said.

"Oh he was nice to us when my mom passed and fulfilled everything we requested. When Dad was gone, I saw a different side of him when I requested to hold a seat for your father, my dad's best friend to attend since I didn't have y'all address to send the funeral information. I said I'll prove it to you and we will have the service for my father!"

Jughead said.

"What was the reaction when of the director when you had brought dad in?"

Fred laugh as Jessica said.

"The funeral director's face was priceless once I said "Meet my God Daddy. Let's set up the service now!"

Archie said.

"What happened?"

Fred said.

"He acted nice as if he didn't do anything to hurt Jessica when she was doing everything for her daddy taking responsibility for everything as she was grieving the loss. He did hurt her so much thinking she can't afford and she needed an adult when she is one. I said I know what you are doing. This little angel of mine just lost her father and trying to put together a service and she has one request and you didn't want it to happen! Well she made it to the deadline and I am here!"

At home they celebrate Jessica court victory until 5 am.
