So Archie has some exciting news and he has invited the whole family the Andrews and Jones for this news.
"So as you know Thanksgiving is coming up and I invited someone special to join us. Uncle Frank!"
Jess felt something that was familiar from her past.
You are never going to succeed little girl! You took Fred away from me!
FP Gladys and Mary see her face as she tries to stay calm for Archie and Jughead sake. Veronica sensed it and being a protective sister, she took Jessica into a quiet room.
"It's ok I'm here."
Jess breathed and sighs.
Jess said.
"I don't know why he has sounds familiar but he voice came through me is there a photo? I need to see what he looked like."
Veronica shows her the photo and her face the color instantly drained.
"Ok yeah I knew him but I never knew that he was a part of our family tree. I thought he was part of another family with the same last name."
Veronica explained.
"Fred's brother. He was always in Fred's shadow and always got in trouble and he just got out of the army and Archie thought it would be a good idea to have him over for Thanksgiving since he is home after serving three years."
Jess said.
"It's make sense looking back on it Fred was always arguing when Frank hits me. From my memory of Frank, he always had a bad temper and it would literally get bad that he would hit me until I had a seizure. It's scared my mom and dad and Gladys, even Fred, Mary and FP. Knock on wood I haven't had any in a very long time. I pray that he changed."
Veronica was speechless but she understood.
"I got you. Was this every Thanksgiving until he left for the Army?"
Jessica say.
"Pretty much all of the Thanksgivings I had known before Archie was born, these were it. That why I am stunned hearing the name."
They came out and Gladys and Mary hugged her.
"You told Veronica." Mary asked.
Jess said.
"Yes she knows now. I'm not going to let him ruining our Thanksgiving I only hope he change and behave in front of Archie and Jughead Archie's kids and my kids. I don't want them to see what I dealt with."
Gladys asked. "Where do you want to take the kids if you end up with a seizure? I hope not cause you have not had any in years knock on wood."
"Marie and Joquin. Now I have to explain everything."
So Veronica text them the whole situation with Thanksgiving and then the whole story with Frank and Jessica's experience with Frank and they will get the kids if the seizures gets worse.
"We are set!"
Archie excitedly hugged Jess and said.
"You will love him! He is the greatest Uncle in the world."
It seemed that Fred and Mary had sheltered Archie when Frank has an episode so all he had known Frank's good side.
"Yeah can't wait to see him!" She fibbed for his sake.
On Thanksgiving Day Jessica prayed as they were on their way to Veronica and Archie's home and Jughead senses something is bothering his wife.
"You ok, love?"
Jess said.
"Yeah just nervous with meeting another family member and all."
She fibbed.
They get there and Mary greeted her alongside Gladys sensing she was frighten to see him. She relaxed once Archie hugged her then immediately the relax feeling had faded as Archie has wheeled her toward Frank.
"Uncle, this is my sister Jess."
Frank looked at Jess realizing who she truly was.
"You don't have a sister Archie, she ain't even an Andrews!"
Jess admit.
"Archie is aware that I have taken the last name because of the love I have for your own brother!"
Frank went silence.
"Now that is settled, I have brought my children and husband with Archie's and V kids are presence, so let's be on our best behavior and have a wonderful Thanksgiving for once."
Veronica, FP, Gladys and Mary were so proud of Jess for speaking up for herself. Jughead and Archie were realizing that Frank and Jessica has a lot of history with each other they just didn't know what was going to happen next. So during dinner Frank decided to press Jessica's buttons knowing a fact about her father's death.
"So Jess how your parents doing?"
Jessica calmly explain everything and then the moment that changed everything and revealed to Jughead and Archie Frank's true behavior for the first time in years.
"Aw that is too bad. I have spoken to your father the day he passed away. I had told him that I had wish you were never born and that you will never be successful in life all because you were always there for Fred."
On the inside, Jess's heart shattered as Frank revealed everything. On the outside Jess calmly prayed as FP snapped at Frank.
"So you basically angered MATTHEW who was sick THAT HE HAD HIS FATAL HEART ATTACK?"
Frank admitted straightforward.
"Yep."
Jessica chewed her food calmly as she fights the tears trying to be calm for the kids, but deep down hearing this from Frank for the first time after so many years, Jess was now sobbing knowing the wound was now beyond repair and need to heal all over again as it was bringing her back to that day as everything made sense. One moment her father was ok and happy, the next thing she sees him on the floor as the phone was dangling as she tried cpr. Seeing Jess, Archie felt guilty and deeply felt terrible for her. Veronica came over as she tried to calm her sister as Jessica remember her plead as she did cpr.
Daddy stay with me! Please I beg you. God daddy would have loved to see you.
"Breathe sis." Veronica whispers as she rubbed Jessica's back.
The children were watching their godmother and mother feeling shattered by the fact.
"Mommy crying." The kids admitted.
FP went over and comfort her as he hugged her as Jughead kissed her forehead.
"Your Daddy would be so proud of you, my daughter in love. You hear me?"
Jess said shaking knowing that it will be awhile to heal again.
"Fp, I appreciate your words, but it still hurts. I was only 14 years old I needed my daddy no matter how sick he was."
FP hugged her. She continues.
"I sometimes wonder what he would think of Jug and our kids and Archie and his kids, to remind everyone my dad was his goddaddy now that we're parents."
Archie came over tearing up and kissed her forehead and said.
"He is definitely proud of us, sis and my dad too."
Jessica smile until Frank said.
"Matt deserve it!"
Jess got angry as she wheel towards him.
"That was my Dad and Archie's Godfather! Why you have to ruin every...."
Frank slapped her hard and everything went blurry as she realize her seizure came right through after so many years of being seizure free.
FP Gladys and Mary were stunned as they see Jess tried to fight back against her seizure.
"Oh no." FP said.
Jug cursed and try holding her hands as Archie tried to search online how to help through a seizure but Matthew timed the seizure as he knew what to do because of one of his classmates has a seizure episodes once in awhile. Frank got arrested through FP and they waited for the seizures to stop but it kept going as everything went through the plan when Joquin and Marie took the kids.
At the hospital, the Drs and nurses gave Jess good amount of medicine to stable the seizure and she was not responding at all. As they waited, everyone explained Archie and Jughead everything. Veronica told Arch and jug her point of view and they were devastated.
Jessica finally woke up and she felt tired and out of it.
"Mommy?" She mumbled.
Mary was relived.
"Hey angel it's ok. He gone!"
Jessica calmly spoke as she fight the drowsiness and asked.
"Where Archie? I need to talk."
Mary sighed and went to go get him. Archie went in and sat down taking her hand. Jess was so mad at herself she could have told Archie.
"I'm so sorry for revealing Frank's other side. I should have told you and Jughead from the moment you made the announcement. But it was the way you had announced it, you were so excited and I instantly did see that Dad and Mom had protected you for many years. So I fibbed for you and Jughead sake."
Archie teared up.
"I don't really care about Frank's nonsense. It hurts me to see what you have endured with him."
Jessica broke down in tears.
"I am stunned what he had done to my father and your God daddy. Archie, it hurts! All I saw the aftermath and I tried everything."
Archie hugged her as she sobbed until she was falling asleep but she tries to fight it, but Archie convince her.
"Get some rest, sis."
Jessica sigh as she felt drowsiness coming through.
"Don't leave Arch.."
Archie got a cot and said.
"I won't sis."
Archie looked at her and she was tucked out. Jughead whispered.
"Happy Thanksgiving, angel."
