Hey everyone. Sorry it's been awhile since I have updated, but here is chapter 21! And I definitely plan on updating more regularly. I need to be a more dedicated author to my work :D

Recap:
The man quickly looked between me then back at Austin. " I'm not sure if your father would want me to say such things in front of your guest, Master Austin."
Austin brought his attention to me then back to the other man." Your right. Let's go."
"Yes, Master." He answered.
Before they left the library Austin brought his attention back to me one last time. Something flashed before his eyes , but right when it came it vanished just as quickly.
"Make sure this young lady is protected. If something is to happen, if my father and I leave I will punish you and everyone else in the worst way possible. She is not to leave this room unless it is on fire. You are to heavily guard this door to make sure no one gets in and no one gets out. Understood?" Austin demanded.
"Yes, Master Austin. Understood." The man answered before both left.
Chapter 21
Alyese Pov~
Silence filled the library once Austin and the man left. I sat there taking everything that just happened in. I stood up from the chair and brought my attention to the door that was now locked. I quickly walked towards it and aggressively jiggled the handle.
"Come on! I don't have time for this!" I complained pulling at the door handle hopping for the slightest response..I got absolutely nothing.
I sighed in frustration. This was not good. Not good at all. I aimlessly walked around the large library looking down at my feet. I stopped in mid step and looked up.
I heard...muffled voices not sure where they were coming from
"There..." I ran to the balcony door. I put one hand on each of the two handles.
Please...Please...Please be unlocked.
I turned the handles and as I pulled slightly the doors flew open with the force of the cool wind from outside. A chill ran down my spine as the cool air blew into my face. As I got closer and closer to the edge of the balcony I heard the voices.
I saw men wearing business suits and were all talking amongst themselves. One man in particular stuck out to me. He had to be at least in his forties, but no matter that he was handsome, but danger radiated off him. You could tell he was a man about business and took it very seriously. He intimidated me and I was no where near close to him. Thank god the balcony wasn't directly facing the front yard or they would have seen me. I couldn't exactly make out what they were saying since they were speaking lower than before.
I heard a door slam shut and soon Austin and the man from before came into view.
Everyone brought their attention to Austin as he walked up to the group of men.
" It seems my son has finally decided to greet us with his presence." The intimidating man said as Austin stood by him
My eyes widened in shock. " That's Austin's father!"
Immediately when I said that I regretted it. It seems I need to work on keeping my voice down. I covered my mouth and ducked down right when they turned towards my direction.
"What was-" One of the men were cut off
Someone cleared their throat.
"Sir. We have everything ready inside your study."
"Oh I see. Well everyone please follow us inside." Austin's father said as he made his way inside. The men followed suit except...Austin.
As I slowly stood up from my crouched position Austin brought his attention to me. My body froze as our eyes met. He stared at me intently. I couldn't look away.
"Master Austin!"
Austin brought his attention to the man in front of him breaking our eye contact. I drew a breath out not even realizing that I was holding my breath that entire time .
"Your father wants you in the study also." He said.
" Yes, of course. Something just caught my eye that's all. Let's go." Austin said taking a step forward, but then took another look towards me. Our eyes met again before he smirked and continued walking inside the house.
I ran back inside quickly shutting the balcony doors behind me.
"I'm screwed. I'm screwed. I'm screwed. Why did I have to go outside. Why am I so freaking nosey." I sighed as I sat back in the chair.
I needed to get out of here and fast. The longer I'm here the more scared and anxious I get for what's going to come when Austin returns. I made my way to the double door entrance and repeatedly knocked on the door.
"Is anyone there?" I ask anxiously," I'm really hungry and I have to use the bathroom."
I heard what seemed like someone unlock the door . Soon the door opened and I was met with a chest. As I slowly brought my head up I took a few steps back to fully see how tall this man was. This man was the definition of scary. He looked like he was born to kill with how big he was.
" Master Austin will be back soon." He said with a blank expression.
I think I know that......
I gave him a dry look. " And...What's your name.?"
For a second he looked surprised, but then his blank expressionless face returned.
"My name is J.P." He said simply.
I nodded." Well J.P, Like I said, I'm hungry and have to use the bathroom."
He raised his eyebrow at me. " And like I said, Master Austin will be here shortly."
My patience was thinning. His stubbornness was ruining my chances of getting out of here...Or at least attempting to.
I turned around and pretended to be in deep thought as J.P stood by the door. I turned my attention to him.
"I wonder how your Master Austin will feel about me using the bathroom on this beautifully tiled floor, that may I say looks very expensive. Then fainting from being starved because his guards did not think twice about what his guest needed." I said cocking my head to the side.
J.P stared at me in irritation before turning his back towards me and getting the other guards attention.
"Lee, Bring her to the closest bathroom while I get her something to eat. Keep an eye on her also. We don't need her trying to run away unless you want to deal with Master Austin." He said staring at me intently.
I looked the other way avoiding his stare. I can say this J.P guy wasn't dumb....I wish he was.
J.P left getting me some food. Lee looked at me and nodded towards the hallway telling me to follow.
"So...This place is pretty big huh?" I said attempting to start small talk.
He simply nodded his head and continued walking, keeping his eyes forward.
No small talk I guess then....
After we walked for awhile longer through the long hallway we finally made it to the bathroom. Lee pointed to the door telling me it was the bathroom.
"Thanks." I smiled while he nodded.
I walked into the bathroom and closed the door after. Never knew a bathroom could look so fancy.
I stood there and thought for a moment. I couldn't believe I got this far. If I knew I was going to get this far I would have continued to think about what I should do next.
I could slam the door open and make a run for it.
I look down at the floor by the door and see a shadow of feet showing that Lee as standing right in front of the door.
No way would I be able to knock Lee down. He wasn't as big as J.P, but was enough for me to know that I was not even close to being able to out do him in anything.
" Wait... I got it." I smirked to myself.
I slowly opened the door hitting his back. He looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I squeezed some of my body through the crack I made in the door.
"Um.. Would you mind standing off a little to the side..." I said not meeting his gaze.
He took a step closer to me. " Why? " He said with a challenging tone like I was trying to be sneaky.
Come on, Alyese! Amp up the innocent roll a bit!
" B-because...You know. Your right by the door. It kind of makes me feel uncomfortable while I'm doing my business if your so close." I said rubbing my arm and looking down at the floor attempting to sound embarrassed by the whole situation.
I slowly looked up from the floor to see Lee's face. A light blush found its way to his cheeks as he looked away rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.
"Y-Yeah. Sorry." He stuttered out as he moved to the left of the door and leaned against the wall.
I went back into the bathroom and pretended to use it. After a minute I flushed the toilet and turned the faucet on. I turned towards the door and stood there. I breathed in then out. I was about to do something that probably isn't the smartest, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
I slowly turned the handle to the door so Lee couldn't hear because of the sound of the faucet.
"At the count of 3." I said to myself.
1.......
2.......
3.......
With all my might I slammed the door open enough where it would hit Lee hard in the face.
I heard a loud groan of pain. " God Da-"
I ran out of the bathroom down the hallway before I could hear the rest of what Lee was about to say. But I sure did get a clue since I did just slam the door on his face.
I ran as fast as I could not looking back. Knowing that if I did and saw Lee I would be a goner. I turned the corner hearing Lee's footsteps behind me, but thank god they weren't close by.
" She got away from me! All guards stand by!" I heard Lee's voice yell.
Shoot. Shoot. Shoot!
As I turned another corner into another hallway I couldn't help but look back. And I wish I hadn't. There I saw Lee and two other unknown guards not too far behind.
Immediately as I turned my head back around I hit something with full force. I lost my balance and fell straight on the floor. I groaned in pain while grabbing butt. Swear can you break your butt? Because it sure did feel like it!
"Oh! I hit something?" I heard someone say.
"Yeah! You hit a woman!" I said angrily still in pain. I looked up and my eyes met with one of the men that were outside.
Multiple footsteps came from behind the man and Austin's father came into view as well as some other men.
Get up. Get up. Get up and run idiot!
My body wouldn't listen to me. This man, Austin's father, intimidated me and the person that stepped in front of him intimidated me even more.
I kept my eyes on his shoes ,slowly bringing my head up to meet a pair of hazel eyes.
As I met Austin's intense gaze once again... silence filled the hallway.
"I'm screwed." I said absentmindedly
