"come on I'll walk you out" Jay says.
"Thanks" I smile. He walks me outside.
"So you moved from new York?" he asks.
"Yeah" I sigh smiling.
"That's neat" he smiles.
"So you from around here?" I asked him.
"Born and raised" he smiled. Then we got to my car.
"This is yours?" he asked shocked.
"Yeah my Uncle Joe passed and Gave the car to my dad who gave the car to me" I smile.
"Damn, it's nice" he says.
"Thanks Jay" I smile.
"I'll catch you later Jaden" he says.
"You can call me Jade" I tell him getting in my car and driving off. I get home and get stuff ready to put on my desk. I change into.
I grabbed my purse and walked outside. I got in my car and drove to a pizza place.
"Hi what can I get you?" the man asks.
"Large pepperoni pizza, nachos, and bread sticks" I order.
"Ok" the man says as I pay.
"Hey Jade" I turn and see Jay.
"Hey Jay" I smile sitting on a chair.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Ordering some food" I answer.
"Do you want to hang tonight, food, beer, unless you and your boyfriend are having a night" he says.
"I don't have a boyfriend" I chuckled.
"Girlfriend?" he asked smiling.
"No" I laugh.
"Then it's settled" he smiled.
"Your place around.....now" he smiles.
"Ok I buy food you buy beer" I say.
"Deal" he chuckled. I grab the food. I get in my car and he gets in his, we drive to a liquor store, he gets the beer and follows me to my apartment. We get out our cars and he follows.
"So you live here?" he asks.
"Yeah, why?" I ask laughing. I take the keys out to open my apartment.
"Because I live right across from you" he smiles.
"Really? Well not a long way home" I laugh. He closes the door once we get in.
"Lot nicer than mine" he laughs. "It was a gift from my older cousin Ricky" I smile. We sit and start eating and watching TV.
"So confession, I followed you to the pizza place" he says.
"I know" I laugh.
"I saw you in your car while I walked in" I laugh. He laughed.
"So why'd you move out here when you could have a life and your family back in new York?" he asked.
"Because there everything us Reagans do basically ends up on the news or we get compared to other members of the family" I answer.
"Makes sense" he says. We chilled the rest of the night.
"I should get going it's already 2" he laughs.
"Damn I didn't think it was that late" I say standing up. I walk him out.
"Goodnight" he says.
"Night" I smile closing the door and locking it. I take a shower and then gets some sleep.
Morning
I get up and shower, I get dressed in
With converse. I brush my teeth, do my hair and grab my keys. I walk out the same time Jay does.
"Morning" I smile.
"Oh hey" he says smiling.
"Wanna ride to work together?" he asks.
"Uh sure, my car or your car" I ask.
"Can I drive your car" he asks.
"Yeah, on her way back from work" I laugh.
"Deal" he chuckled. We get in my car and I drive to a cafe. We both walk in.
"What can I get you guys" the waiter smirks at me.
"Large vanilla milkshake with whipped cream, a dozen donuts and a slice of cheese cake" I smile.
"Large hot coffee with French vanilla and a breakfast sandwich" Jay orders. I pull out my money so does he. The waiter gives us the total.
"I got it" I say and Jay pays.
"Really?" I ask laughing. "My treat" he smiles.
"Cause you want a donut?" I ask smiling.
"You can't let me be seen like a gentleman?" He asks laughing. I laughed too.
"Here you go and here's my number" he says to me.
"Thanks and no thanks" I say leaving his number on the counter.
"Why'd you turn him down?" Jay asked as we were driving to work.
"Not my type" I answer.
