26: just have a little faith

“Rocket alam mo bang ang mga lalaking seahorse ang nanganganak at hindi ang mga babae?”
I wiped my hands on my face as I swam on the side. We’ve been swimming for a while and I think it was relaxing yet stressful at the same time. Stressful dahil mula nang lumangoy kami ay hindi na tumahimik si titless sa kasasabi ng kung anu-anong tungkol sa tubig at mga lamang dagat.
“How about shrimps, do you know that their heart is in their head?” Lumangoy siya palapit sa akin. “Tapos ang mga oyster, pwede silang magpalit ng gender depende kung alin ang mas tugma sa mating process. Isn’t it cool? At one point babae ka, tapos pwede kang maging lalaki tapos pwede ka ulit bumalik sa pagiging babae! Isn’t it awesome?”
When will she shut up and just enjoy the water? I have no interest in her trivia and all. I moved towards the shore and sat on the sand.Titless flailed her arms to swam nearer the shore para sundan ako. Naupo siya sa tabi ko at napatingin sa malayo.
“Ayaw mo nang lumangoy?” tanong niya.
I nodded, brushing off water from my hair. “Are you cool now?”
“No, don’t wanna be cool, I want Cooler.”
I snorted. “Seriously?”
“Hey, ano ako bata na kapag naaliw lamang saglit ay kalilimutan na ang dahilan ng pag-iyak? No, defintely not pero naiintindihan ko naman eh. It’s just that I don’t wanna look pathetic right in front of those people. I can shoot them in the face, alright, but have no gun right now so I’ll shoot them later.”
I deadpanned. She looked at me, wriggling her brow.
“Now I think I know bakit hindi na nag-asawa si Daddy nang mawala si Mommy, kung bakit single pa rin si Zero. Kasi busy sa trabaho, sa negosyo. Maybe that’s the case with Cooler too,” wika niya kasabay ng pagbuntong-hininga.
"It's a matter of setting priorities titless," sagot ko. "If someone really matters, you will spare time."
She pouted and raised a brow. "Uh, depende. Pero alam mo rocket, I'm the type who doesn't give up on things that I want. I will do whatever it takes to get Cooler." She raised her head higher, showing determination. "Whatever it takes."
I smirked to myself. That's so much determination but I know my cousin. He isn't the type who plays while working. He knew getting involved with titless would be a hassle on his part knowing her obsession towards him. If titless is determined to do what she wants, gayundin si Cooler. He will do whatever it takes to be worthy of taking over the Vander mafia.
"Okay," sagot ko. "Good luck then."
She shook her head. "Not luck pretty face, not luck. I can really make him mine. Just have a little faith."
"Yeah, whatever." I was pissed, I don't know why. Siguro ay kailangan ko lamang ng tulog at pahinga. Right. That is exactly the reason.
"Anyway, I'm bored and I don't think swimming will do. Suggest any fun thing to do," sabi niya at nilaro ang buhangin sa paa.
"Let's play I'll shoot you in the face," sagot ko.
"Oh my god all this time you have an intent to kill me pretty face, why is that?" nakataas ang kilay na tanong niya.
"You're an annoyance. And titless."
She scowled at me. "Thanks bastard. Likewise. Got any better idea?"
"Bury yourself in the sand and don't ever come out. Ever."
Mas lalo lamang siyang napangiwi at binato ako ng dinakot niyang buhangin. "Asshole! You're supposed to make me feel better, not make me feel worst!"
"What am I, your stress ball?" tanong ko sa kanya. "I won't be there anytime you have a drama in life."
I mean it. I have so much things to do other than swim with her or watch her cry or babysit her whenever she's high as kite.
Lol I am a busy man.
I shouldn't be here.
"But you're here right now," sagot niya. "Thanks Rocket, I appreciate it."
I smirked then frown. Thanking me would only make it worse. Hell, I am really a busy man.
"Shut up titless."
She moved closer with her taunting face. "Make me," she said, eyes looking straight at me.
What?
Then she leaned down to kiss me, hands trailing down my shoulder blades. I was surprised but I was quick to respond. I guess the cool breeze and our wet bodies weren't helpful so a little heat would be necessary.

Other than the drive caused by too much wine in my system and rocket looking so damn hot in his wet physique which made me hop into his lap and kiss him like animal in need.
It was raw, primal yet I couldn't just stop myself in doing so. Oh no, Cooler or Harry, either wouldn't like this idea, I know. But damn straight, why is rocket so hot? And I am too kind to my urges, I don't want to be deprieved.
Noong una ay tila nagulat pa siya sa halik na ginawa ko ngunit kalaunan din ay nagsimula na siyang gumanti ng halik. His hand groped my waist hard and weirdly enough, I like it.
His fingers buried into mg wet hair, pulling me even closer to him. Gotcha, he likes it too. It was a long, lustful kiss until I broke it.
He looked annoyed as he looked at me, "what?"
I smiled and stood up, pulling him with me. "I suggest we continue it somewhere."
Nagpahila lamang siya sa akin. It was weird because Ryu is someone who doesn't need to be led. He wants to do things on his own but right now he just let me pull him wherever. Ni hindi man lamang din siya nagsalita.
Until we reach the cottage.
Napatigil siya at tiningnan ang paligid. He smirked as he watched the petal filled bed. Malamig doon dahil tanging ang mga lace curtains ang nakatabing sa cottage. I smiled and pulled him but he looked confused.
"Ayaw mo? Come on rocket I know you're not a virgin and I am definitely not so walang mawawala sa atin, duh and I am not infected okay?"
He looked at me still looking confused but then I rolled my eyes and jumped towards him, encircling my arms through his neck. Mabilis na sinuportahan naman niya ang balakang ko at napangiti lamang ako.
"Good boy, now walk towards the bed, put me down, lay down and I'll do all the work," sabi ko sa kanya.
Man, the devil doesn't need to be told twice.
