Creds to a miraculous comic named, 'We could kiss'
Alya and Nino were happily dating and trying to hook up Marinette and Adrien.
Which led to a double date and, as expected, DJwifi ditched Adrienette.
And here they were, on a bench. In a park. Taking to each other.
Adrien, on the other hand, was tensed up.
He took her hand like he was supposed to. She lets him.
He leans in. Like he was supposed to. She lets him.
Not before hesitating.
He closes his eyes and their distance. Like he was supposed to.
She hesitates.
And just when their lips were inches apart, he stopped.
So that she doesn't feel pressured. So that she could back away.
And she did.
She closed her eyes and leaned away.
He knew it. She didn't like it.
Alya and Nino told him she liked him but...
He knew she didn't like it.
So he politely backed off.
After a few moments of awkward silence, Marinette finally opened her mouth.
"You know what Adrien?"
He looks at her.
"It's always been my dream to kiss you."
He blushes.
"But not like this."
He gets confused.
"Not under pressure."
He realises.
"I've noticed Adrien. I've noticed something nobody did."
He sees her deep in thought.
"In the past few days, something's bothering you. I know it."
He jerks up. Eyes wide.
"That fake smile of yours isn't gonna work on me, you know."
She looks at him and smiles.
"Wanna talk about it?"
"I don't. Honestly." He replies.
"Hmm." She thinks.
After a few minutes of comfortable silence, she replied.
"We could kiss you know."
"What?!" He said.
"We could kiss. Nobody would know. Not Alya, Nino, nor Chloe."
He smiles.
"But the question is, should we?"
[*inhale*
What was the point of this?
No plot.
No exposition.
No climax.
Just a conversation that makes zero sense.
