The kids are preparing for the slumber party at there Island Hideaway Paradise Cove.
It took the children to get out their pajamas Margaret picks out her Emoji nightgown.
She also remembers to buy toilet paper and get some snacks for then mostly peanut butter crackers raisins and peanuts along with Reese's Pieces and M&Ms.
Next door in her mother's house is Maui getting her nightgown buddy. Of course she can't decide how many pairs of flip-flops to bring so she decides to bring three the nightgown that she selects says princess on it. She says that might as well advertise what I am a mermaid princess!
Before she leaves she says goodbye to her turtle and her gecko. She gave us both of them a little snack before she leaves.
Mr. T with her last glance in the his terrarium where he lives she picks him up and puts him into her mermaid backpack along with some celery and cucumbers she will take him with her to the new place.
Brody's also getting ready for the storm recording he decided to bring out his pajamas he decides to go with his Emoji shark pajamas.
He went with Emojis just like Margaret but also like Molly he couldn't leave his little buddy behind so he says goodbye to his mother make sure to bring his walkie-talkie with full full charge + solar power crank radio so he can communicate with his mother even if the batteries run out but he can't leave little Cole
behind either.
As both Brody and Molly are getting everything together and put on the boat for the voyage to Paradise Cove Margaret Anne walks along the beach and found stuck in the sand is a chimenea. Margaret Ann thinks this would be perfect on cold nights as well as they could use it to cook marshmallows and make s'mores as well as cook hot dogs with that brother did she goes to get a package of hot dogs and puts it with a cold pack in her backpack as well as marshmallows and chocolate to go with the graham crackers that she has already have in her bag
Before they leave one of the old Sea Dog Captain Captain Bob gives the children an old portable weather radar there's also crank power just like Brody's radio but it has fresh batteries. The children tell him the weather is going to be nice and there shouldn't be an issue but he says you should always have a weather monitor just in case and it will be if a storm is approaching to give them a heads up.
All three thank Captain Bob for the gift and begin to push the boat away from the dock they lift the sail and catch the wind and put two paddles over the side and begin to road towards the I want Paradise Beauty also puts his 3 horsepower electric motor on. With the Wind pushing them towards the island the current pulling them out to sea the girls paddling and the motor running they make it to the island in less than 15 minutes and unload the supplies & chimenea . With the chickens the turtle and call the dog Margaret comments were turning into the Island of Misfit Toys LOL when she reaches in her backpack and takes up the supplies as well as
Crackers but just a food her parakeet they each brought a pet with them they set up the chimenea 10 ft away from the house and chicken coop to make sure that no Amber's will go anywhere near either of the two buildings they even turn the fireplace away from the house and pick up all the loose brush from all the trees to use as firewood.
Before the sun goes down the children start a fire using a fire starter and they roast them hot dogs on the fire with some bananas and use the banana peels to hopefully in the Flames as well as provide flavor using the banana leaves the kids actually have a very nice dinner and are about to go to sleep when the weather monitor goes off butting in them know that a storm is coming close Brody looks at the weather outlook and begins to worry the storm is going to be bad they move everything that can people aren't around inside the shack including the brand new chimenea. They put all three chickens in the rooster and inside the chicken coop and lift the door up and tie it closed to make sure the chickens are safe there's enough room in the chicken coop for 6 chickens before closing up the coop Margaret put some chicken feed in there extra water and corn for the chickens to eat can you drink .
Molly uses Brody's radios 2 to communicate with Brody's mother and also her mother to let them know the storm is coming both mothers tell her that they need to go inside the shack and just ride out the storm it would be too dangerous to try to come home at night they may run into rough water or hit a sandbar or a reef and sink the boat so it's much better to wait until it is light out. One thing that always mother is also worried about is there have been a few Sandbar sharks near in The water and if the children fall overboard and get bit they could bleed out or run into other trouble so it's better for them to stay where they are for the night
Brody make sure that the boat is secure. He ties it up really good and pushes it in between two very large mangroves is wedged between then and one of the smaller Islands he even puts his the back end right up against the island and cuz it to a rock on the shore. As the children begin to ride out the storm they also begin to pray and hold each other tightly this is going to be a rough night but they will remember this forever.
All three mothers close to watch the weather and pray that their three children are safe Margaret Ann's mother is the most worried of all but she generally worries about everything. The next most worried is Brody's mom but she's busy taking care of all the animals so she's preoccupied she make sure the animal shelters safe as well as her home and the home look for two friends the least worried is Miss Laura Molly's mother she make sure that the gymnasium is all secure as well as her home she knows that her daughter is one little tough cookie so everything should be okay but before she goes to sleep she does light a candle and say a prayer for the children as the storm begins to shake all three homes the mothers worry about their children but hope and pray they'll be okay.
