Tom and Indigo were finally back in their home sweet home, and it was perfect timing due to what time of year it was. You guessed it, it was Christmastime.
Christmas music played throughout the apartment while Indigo began pulling out many boxes full of decorations. But Tom had noticed that she changed her look, specifically her hair. "You already got rid of your bangs? I loved the bangs."
"They were getting a little annoying, Tommy Boy." Indigo said as she took out garland from one of the boxes.
"Still," Tom frowns. "it's my favorite hairstyle on you."
"Well maybe I'll bring them back for the wedding." She smirks. Ah, yes, the wedding. They definitely didn't forget about that. There was still plenty of planning to do, and now they had the time (for now) to actually get some done.
"Really?"
"Doubt it. Now can you help me with these decorations?" Tom immediately rushed over to his fiancé, and took out anything that he knew would require him to do it.
"Should we take out the Christmas tree now?" Indigo asks. There was no way that she could do it herself, so she might as well as Tom while he was actually available.
"I don't see why not." He shrugs. "Hopefully you don't make me do all the work again."
"We'll see about that."

After hours of decorating, Tom plopped onto the couch next to Indigo and took a breath from being so exhausted. "I can't believe I had to put up the entire tree by myself."
"I can't believe you told the internet that I did none of the work." Indigo jokes, snuggling up next to him.
"Rightfully so!" He says. "That was a whole workout."
"How about I make it up to you?" She proposes, which Tom is intrigued by.
"How?" He questioned.
"Late dinner?"
"You know the way to my heart."

Tom and Indigo went to a small alehouse that was only around the corner from their apartment, and it was probably the best food there is. Indigo claims their wings are "the best thing to have ever happened to her", but everyone just laughs when she says that.
"I'm glad we're doing this." Indigo smiled. "I missed this while I was in LA."
"Me too." Tom said. "But I missed being around you so much more."
"You're such a charmer." She blushes.
"What can I say? It's just how I am, darling." This made Indigo blush even more, reminding her of the beginning of her and Tom's romance. "God, I feel like we're on our first date all over again."
"Look at where we are now." Tom grins. "We've actually kissed and we're engaged."
"Very funny." Indigo rolls her eyes. "You'll never forget about me running off, huh?"
"It'll be a story for the kids." He chuckles.
"And for every living being." She scoffs.
The story of how Indigo fan away from Tom after he tried to kiss her on their first date will be something Tom will never let go of. Now when he thinks of it it's just plain hilarious, but Indigo sees it as completely embarrassing.
Tom takes Indigo's hand and places a kiss on it, totally making her heart melt. "You know I love you anyway."
"I know." Indigo giggles. "Say, why don't we invite Papa over for Christmas?"
"As long as he doesn't murder me, then I'm okay with it." He agrees. To this day Tom is still pretty scared of Papa Rivera.
"He would've murdered you already if he knew about you know what." She says, referring to that pregnancy scare long ago.
"What?"
"What?"
