Setsu kneeled beside a still asleep Hinowa, her face was squished on the wooden floor while the rest of her body was still on her futon.
"Get up, Hinowa. You have a meeting with Douden this morning at the Tsushiba place." Setsu said as she yanked the quilt off the peacefully sleeping woman, Hinowa groaned and wrapped her arms around her middle and her legs curled up as she rolled on her other side. "Setsu... ugh, still so sleepy." she mumbled, "I know, you can complain and move your heavy ass at the same time. Come on, time to take a bath." Setsu said as she rolled the quilt and began pulling Hinowa's futon away from the center of the room.
Hinowa yawned and rubbed her bleary eyes, she got up and mumbled about 'a good dream' and 'cold toes', Setsu followed her and watched with relief as she saw Hinowa tying her long hair back and splashing water on her face.
"Mama also told me to remind you that some officials are going to be arriving later this afternoon." Setsu said as she handed Hinowa a towel, "I will be waiting for you downstairs, it's gonna be a long day for you."
Hinowa sighed as Setsu shut the screen door, entertaining people had always been her dream, ever since she was young she wanted to be just like the beautiful women she saw laughing under the rain of cherry blossoms, wearing beautiful kimonos and playing the shamisen so well people gathered to listen and marvel at their beauty. She hummed to herself and listened to the slowly waking world outside, a soft breeze blew inside her room and it made her lids droopy, 'just a few more minutes is enough, I returned home so late last night.'
She sat down next to her tiny table and laid her head down, "ahhh. So tired." she yawned and closed her eyes....
Then suddenly her door slammed open and a very irritated Setsu started scolding her, Hinowa wanted to whine but caught some words like 'sleepyhead' 'Mama's gonna be so pissed' 'get your ass moving!'
A small smile stretched her lips, this is no way to wake a well known oiran, but she would not have any other person help her start her day than the one glaring daggers at her now.
