Y/N POV:
I pace the grotty motel room, my heart racing inside my chest. Where is he? He was supposed to be back ten minutes ago, this can't be a good sign. I check my phone again for the 100th time. Nothing.
I walk over to the window and peer out through the tiniest gap in the curtain, not wanting to arouse any suspicion. "Did you get it though?" I ask, peering over at the bag he's brought with him.
"Are you doubting me?" He says, smirking, confirming that he definitely did succeed. I go over to the bag and open it slowly. I gasp as I'm greeted with the sight of a bag full of notes. I grab a couple of wads and hold them there, speechless.
Brendon stands behind me and wraps an arm around my waist, while kissing me softly on the neck. I turn around and feel his breath on my face. Closing my eyes, I lean in and kiss him on the lips, gently at first and then he grants me entry.
