Usually, Normani would wake up first to prepare everyone breakfast and to go out for a quick jog. She'd always make it back home before Dinah and Victoria woke up, but today was different.
Today, Dinah woke up earlier than Normani did because she had to be to work in a couple of hours. It was her first day back to work in a few months and she honestly was not in much of a rush.
After showering and getting dressed, Dinah went to check on their daughter. She was still sleeping of course because she didn't normally wake up until around nine am. She kissed the baby's nose and watched a smirk appear on her face—before it quickly disappeared—catching herself smiling and walking downstairs to make breakfast.
She made a light breakfast that consisted of a fruit salad and toast with fresh water to drink. She made sure to make a few bottles for their daughter—one for whenever she woke up and extras for later on in the day.
When Normani woke up she got dressed in her athletic wear and brushed her teeth before kissing her girlfriend goodbye. She decided that she still wanted to go out and get some exercise because it was already feeling like a nice warm day. So she packed up a half asleep babygirl in her stroller and they walked around the neighborhood enjoying the nature's beauty.
Walking around the neighborhood for almost an hour, Victoria became cranky and her mother decided to start walking back home. Normani knew her daughter was cranky because she just woke up a few minutes ago and she hadn't had her breakfast yet.
On their way back to the house though, Normani frowned thinking about how boring the house would be since Dinah wasn't gonna be there to entertain them. Not having Dinah at home made the idea of going to wherever Dinah was, pop up into Normani's head.
So, after feeding baby Victoria, the young mother made sure that they were both clean and with full stomachs before heading out to the zoo.
It'll be Victoria's first time at the zoo and even though she wouldn't remember it, the thought is still nice to get her out of the house and see new things.

Mani decided to keep the fact that she and her daughter were making the trip to Dinah's job and surprise her.
Pushing the baby's stroller while smiling brightly at her baby whom was carelessly babbling to herself, Normani finally caught sight of her girlfriend. She smiled even bigger once they got closer to the tall blonde.
The dark skinned beauty stood watching as her girlfriend fed a group of birds in their cage. She cleared her throat when the blonde exited the cage while brushing her dirty hands off on her zookeeper uniform a few minutes later. Dinah looked up and furrowed her eyebrows when she saw her girlfriend and daughter standing in the middle of the zoo.
She walked over to them and gave them both a smile as a form of greeting.
Before she could even speak, Victoria squealed and wailed her arms around, as well as kicking her feet dangerously in excitement at the sight of her mother. Dinah smiled and bent down to her level.
"Hi baby! Mama missed you!" She said in her high pitched voice that she only talked to her daughter in.
The baby continued smiling and both Normani and Dinah laughed at their daughter's cuteness.
The blonde stood up straight and looked at Normani. "What's up? I thought you guys were staying in today?"
Her girlfriend shrugged. "We wanted to get out and see some animals in their habitat." It was somewhat true because Normani was tired of sitting in the house all day and there was nothing to do besides put on cartoons for the baby whenever she got bored and cranky. "Plus we wanted to see mama."
The lighter woman smiled and moved towards her to plant a kiss to her lips, but Normani quickly stopped her. "Wait...I don't want you kissing or touching us until you've had a shower."
Dinah nodded her head after thinking about all of the dirty cages she's had to clean this morning, along with giving some of he animals their baths. "Yeah, you're probably right."
After talking a bit more, Dinah told her girlfriend to take the baby and look around the park and enjoy themselves while she finishes her work. They agreed to meet up at the large cafe area and have lunch together while Dinah enjoys her lunch break.
They talked and laughed most of the time, but they ate BLT sandwiches while Victoria took another nap in her stroller. They had to keep glancing over at the sleeping baby to make sure she was okay and unbothered.
It wasn't like they weren't going to see each other at home later, but spending time outside of the house for even an hour was so much more fun than sitting at home and watching Disney movies. Dinah didn't wanna go back to work honestly, but she knew her boss would tell her to get back to work.
After saying their goodbyes, and Dinah convincing the older woman to give her a kiss regardless of if she was dirty or not, the family parted ways as Normani carried the baby in her arms and pushed the stroller to the car while Dinah continued to clean out some buckets so that they were available to put the fruit into.

They changed the guests bedroom into Victoria's bedroom so she could sleep in it about three weeks ago. Dinah was of course the one who suggested the idea to her girlfriend because she was tired of 'attempting' to have sex instead of actually doing it.
Changing the baby's room was honestly a little hard for the older woman though because even though her new room was next door, she didn't like that Victoria was only a few months old and sleeping by herself.
Right now though, Mani was getting the baby dressed after a very messy bath, while Dinah was taking her shower.
Putting lotion on her daughter's legs, Normani bends down to place a soft kiss on her nose making her giggle a little. "You're so silly. You're my silly baby and I love you." She informed the baby who didn't understand her words.
It never stopped Dinah or Normani from saying it though.
Dinah smiles at them from the doorway.
She slowly walks up to Mani and puts her hands on her waist, slightly pulling her back towards her front so that her butt met her groin.
Normani shook her head and pulled Victoria's shorts over her waist. "Dinah, back up."
"Why?" Dinah asked goofily. Her hands held a firm but soft grip on Normani's waist.
"I can't feel that you don't have any underwear on. Go away" Normani tried to say firmly, but she wasn't fooling the blonde at all. She knew what she truly wanted.
Dinah chuckles and gasps dramatically at the baby when she sees her wide eyes staring at her.
"Look who's staring at me. It's the baby who drools a lot." Dinah said in a high pitched voice. "I love that baby!"
Mani scoffs and shakes her head as she finally puts the babies shirt on
"All babies drool stupid"
Dinah pouts and fake sobs to make the baby laugh "You see how mama treats me?"
Mani notices how the baby's eyes are droopy and her tired giggle. "She's super sleepy. She only took two naps today."
"I know. I can tell by her giggle." Dinah said as she stood up straight. She put her hair up in a high bun while she watched Normani put the baby to sleep in her crib.
After a long ten minutes, Victoria is finally out.
They both kiss the baby and tell her goodnight as her chest cutely rises and falls in her sleep.
Dinah waits for Mani to turn off the bedroom light, making sure to leave the lamp on before she puts her hands on her waist. They walk outside of the room and crack the door a little.
Mani shakes her head and moves her girlfriend's hands away from her stomach. "No, baby. I'm still tired from last night."
Dinah smacks Mani's butt making her yelp. "I'll be gentle I promise."
Mani pouts and Dinah smirks before placing a shivering kiss on her neck from behind.
The older woman rolls her eyes and pulls away from Dinah.
They entered the room and closed the door. Mani made her way to the bed with Dinah hot on her trail.
"Only if you can promise me that we'll be quiet."
Dinah scoffed while tugging at Normani's robe. "Thats not fair because you never be quiet."
Giggles then filled the room as Dinah pounced on her girlfriend.
