Lena POV-
I look over my window while driving, taking in the fast view of the outside world, the people walking,talking on the phones or to other people, Emily beside me, silent, her glasses, reflecting off the light, she was immersed in her book, looking so serious on the storyline.
"What's it about?" I asked
"Huh?" She replied, taken aback by my question.
"The book, what's it about?" I asked .
"Oh, it's about two women in a relationship, and one of the girls hides a terrible secret that blocks her from getting close to her girlfriend, it's nothing like liking another guy, but it's about her family and all that, how her father treated her horribly, and her mom left her, and when the girl learns about it from her friends, she tries to help her heal and.."
"And?" I ask, smirking a bit
"I'm not finished"
"Ah, I see.." I replied
"Lena?" She asked me
"My names not Lena" I replied
"Yes it is"
"No"
"Yes.."
"No"
"Yeah, it is, I mean it's on your birth certificate"
"I'm calling your mother" I said
I grabbed my phone and called my soon to be wife..
"Hello?" My girl had answered.
" Sweetheart, please tell my daughter what my name is" I asked her.
" Emily, your mother's name is Lena..?" She asked
"Kara!" I yelled
"But babe that's what your name is" She replied
"Jesus Christ... my name to you Emily is mom or momma, that's it, that's all. Got it?" I snapped.
"Yes ma'am." They both whimper.
"Em, please don't make your momma snap, her hormones are a little wacky now." Kara said giggling, I rolled my eyes.
"Kara.. please" I sighed out.
"What babe?!" She yelled
"Hey!" I heard Alex snap.
"What?!" Me and Kara scream
"Shut up with the bickering, and Lena... chill"
"Jesus.." I mumbled, I rubbed my temples in frustration and in a headache.
"Mom?" Emily asked.
"Hmm?" I hummed in response.
"Babe you ok? " Kara asked worried
"I'm fine, I'm just a little tired.." I lied softly
"Em, feel her forehead" Kara said softly.

" Baby.." Kara said
" I'm fine" I lied
I parked my car and got out, I turned off the engine and walked to the front desk, Jess had greeted me.
"Ms. Luthor" She greeted me with a smile
"Hello Jess, can you please get me a water, and some aspirin, please?" I asked, she nodded
"Baby..." I heard Kara's voice.
"Kara, I'm ok"
"Your not" Kara said sternly
"I really don't need this right now, I said I'm ok, now let me be ok" I snapped
"Turn it off speaker" Emily whispered
I turned it off and walked to the elevator with Emily.
"Lena, do you know what you are to me?" Kara asked
"Mm" I hummed in response, my forehead getting hot
"Your my wife, I don't have the ring yet but you are, and I know you still don't fully forgive me, and I don't expect you to, but please Lena, please, let me take care of you for once, I hadn't done it in so long because you've always taken care of me, let me take care of you for once." I heard her say.
Damn, she is a puppy
"Fine" I mumbled out, trying my best not to pass out.
"Ok baby, give me ten seconds." I heard her say, I ended the call and collapsed.
"Mom!" I heard Emily scream, I grabbed on to something, trying to keep awake
"Momma!! Wake up!" She screamed
"Shhh, I'm ok, I just fell" I groaned out, my head getting hotter to the second.
I heard a whoosh and saw Kara running towards me, scooping me up in her safe arms, I relaxed into them, feeling it's coolness.
"Baby. I need you to hold on to me, as tight as you can, I need you to stay awake for me also, let me see those perfect green eyes " she said as she felt my forehead, feeling it getting hot.
I groaned softly and wrapped my arms around her neck, and secured them tightly.
"Good girl, don't let go of me ok?" She whispered softly, stroking my raven hair, I nodded softly.
She jumped out the roof and flew to our house, Emily used the elements and used air to fly with us, my eyes were slowly closing, and Kara had noticed.
"No baby, I need to see those eyes, please baby? I really need to see those eyes" she pleaded with me, I kept them open and she smiled softly
"Thank you baby, just a couple more minutes" She said, I nodded and groaned in pain, she stroked my hair softly and I purred softly to the touch, I felt us landing and walking into our home, I closed my eyes softly and Kara stroked my hair.

I woke up with a white camisole and some shorts on, my forehead was slightly damp, I groaned softly and Kara snapped up, grabbing the towel on my forehead and putting it into a bowl of cold water and ringed it off, placing it gently on my forehead, she caressed my cheek softly and smiled.
"Your awake" She said smiling, I saw the dark bags under her eyes, she hasn't slept.
"H-how long, w-was I out?" I stuttered
"Two days, Alex said that you had a really high temperature and a stress induced fever." She said, her voice breaking slowly.
"K-Kara, are you ok?" I asked her?
"I'm so stupid, I caused this, I got you sick, and you damn near died!" She yelled, it wasn't at me, but herself, tears were streaming down her rosy cheeks, her light skin had lost its color, and her piercing blue eyes were dull with tiredness, my baby was angry at herself, for something she didn't do.
"Kara, keep going" I said softly, wanting her to get her feelings out. She needed to let them out
"I know about your nightmares, how they came back, and I didn't do anything! I was angry for nothing! And I know that you weren't getting sleep, and I know that you were locked in that office for two weeks! And that I didn't get you! I didn't save you!" She said sobbing now, more tears streaming down slowly."And I damn near got you and our baby killed.. because of me!" She sobbed out.
I pulled her close to me.
"Shhh, I know, I'm ok, the baby's ok, everything is ok, all is forgiven, please know that, don't put this burden on yourself, I can't bear the thought that you put this unnecessary burden, and that I allowed it, because I won't, I'm not going to allow you to do that, because it's not your fault. Please Kara, I'm not upset, please know that my love, my princess, my darling, my soon to be wife, please know that I'm not or will ever be upset with you, I love you too much to stay mad, not now, not ever" I whispered softly in her ear. I heard her sobs quiet down, and turn to sniffles.
"Shhhh, my love, there's no need to be upset, I promise, just let it out, I'm not leaving, literally and figuratively." I mumbled.
She climbed on our bed and yawned a bit, I looked at her softly and stroked her hair, kissing it softly, she softly kissed my lips and I pulled back, much to her displeasure.
"I'm sick, I don't want you sick" I said softly, stroking her hair and kissing it gently.
"I don't care, please, let me kiss you." She whispered, leaning in to kiss my lips. I allowed it and kissed back, feeling ling her cool lips on my hot lips.
"Kara? Baby can you look at me my love? I need to see your beautiful eyes" I whispered
She looked up at me softly.
"My beautiful girl, I know that I kept my nightmares from you, and I apologize for that, but you know what I did? I asked James everyday how you were, if you were happy, or sad or whatever you were feeling those two weeks. I felt so sad every day, and I kept it from you, that was the worst mistake I've ever made, and I am so sorry, I never meant to hurt you, I will never forgive myself" I whispered sadly
"But baby.. it was my fault, I shut you out." She said softly
"No baby... it was mine for pressing you with so much, you were stressed, and I pushed you that day, it was my fault from the beginning. I'm so sorry baby, and I had fully forgiven you, I was just sick, and obviously very stubborn" I chuckled.
"Baby... don't laugh, your chest is still healing from your coughing attack" she said worried. I looked at her tired self, she was exhausted, we both were.
"Baby, your fevers gone down, but you still need rest" she said softly.
"No, we both need sleep" I said stroking her cheek.
"Mmm, baby.. I have to take care of you" She said, nuzzling into my hand. I smiled at my little puppy.
"Shhhh, you've taken care of me long enough, let me take care of you for once my love" I whispered, wrapping my arms around her softly.
"Mmm, Lena" she mumbled lightly
"Shhhh, it's ok my love, rest, I'll be right here, always.
I felt my puppy, falling slowly asleep, easing into a dream, I smiled sweetly at her and kissed her head gently. Falling slowly asleep to our mixed heartbeats
She's all I need, our family is all I need, that's all I will ever need
