~ I have found the one whom my soul loves.

Song of Solomon 3:4

~

The rich orange sun was beyond the horizon. Yet, the city was still caught by darkness. I felt like the tables had turned as I was the one who woke up first, not wasting my primary view of the early morning and shifted my head towards the fragile unconscious body laying against my own.

The soft noises she made whilst she was sleeping made my stubborn cold heart suddenly melt on the spot. Another reason why I called her my little kitten, she had the cuteness of one for sure.

As much as I wanted to stare at her all day, that broken skull of mine couldn't help but construct a plan of what we were going to do next because, in all reality, I had no idea what we were going to do next. I didn't even know where about The Creator was located.

Wait. Does he..or it know that Gia and I are back together? I flaming hope not. But I couldn't help but think back to our previous life. The Creator didn't know until I actually told her that I loved her. He even admitted it himself. I slowly worked out that he couldn't see love or happiness. Perhaps there was this other higher power that was allowing us to experience such a powerful and incredible feeling. But I had no clue.

My hand automatically found its way into Gia's silky light ash brown locks. Even just doing that reduced my stress levels and brought my thoughts back to the girl I loved.

"Mm..hm." There was a strangled rather high pitched groan that vibrated from underneath my neck. Her eyes fluttered open, blinking a few times, adjusting to the minimal light creeping into her room.

"Good morning, Kitten." My morning voice complimented my lazy looking eyes. She bundled and brought the thick duvet cover up to her chin. I hooked my arm back around her clothed waist and pulled her in for a delightful morning kiss, which both sent us into a bliss.

"That is the first proper sleep I've had in decades." She both sent us giggling. Gia began to climb her way to sit on my stomach, straddling me. A grin slapped itself on my face. This girl, certainly had magical powers as she was the only person who made me break a genuine smile.

"It's because I have my E back." Her gentle hands rested on my abs, with her helix piercings glittering. I soon remembered...she was the one who got me to call myself, E. In my thoughts, I referred to myself as E. All because of her.

"Oh c'mere, you." I heaved her back in for a make out. I just couldn't help myself around her.

I never wanted this heaven on earth to conclude. But it didn't have to if I had Gia by my side. I was making sure that I did and didn't let her go. I made that my bloody duty. Her fingers hooked onto the waistband of my shorts, pulling herself up to fetch the remote to her flat screen tv. It wasn't gigantic and expensive but, that's why I liked it. Unfortunately, her "parents" wanted to keep all of their earnings to themselves so she was only allowed certain things. They were making themselves very big targets for me to throttle them. Hey, remember to cool it, kid.

Netflix was switched on in an instant. She cocooned herself back into the covers, including me into the mix, creating so much extra thermal heat as she kept a hold of the remote.

"Like old times, babe, you get to choose what we watch." We weren't too loud as we were cautious of the others probably complaining about the noise well.....not that I think about it, not none of them would dare to moan and complain at me, fearing for their lives of what I might do. I hated that view of me.

Gia pressed the decrease volume button and shortly after lifted the shisha pipe on top of her little wooden bedside table.

"Aww, but you should choose this time, E." She handed the remote as I sighed, picking one of our classic favourites to watch. Nothing beats a lil bit of Waterloo Road.

We were settled, decorating the room with fresh smoke with the bedroom window slightly ajar.

"What are we gonna do about The Creator, E?" I could sense the subtle fear and reluctance in her voice. I only held her closer, laying a kiss on her temple.

"I honestly don't know yet, Kitten," I replied.

"But that's something to discuss with the others later."

"I'm happy that we're doing that later. I just wanna spend this whole morning with you." She clung to my neck and shoulders, with her flowing long hair that she always kept in a neat messy bun, sprawled across my bare chest.

"You're such a cutie! Everyone is gonna think that I'm a massive gentle softie now." I whined, digging my fingers into her ribs, in which she squirmed by my humorous actions.

"Oh don't worry about it, babe. I'm the only one that can truly see your soft side." Her head remained reposed on my chest, however, I felt the cheeky little smile that played upon her lips.

"But..." She started off, crawling closer to my pierced ear, practically vaguely talking against my rusty diamond earring.

"You're far from gentle. Of course, everyone knows it but, I know it better than anyone else...if you know what I mean." Swift hot kisses were gracefully placed on my canvas of a neck. I sniggered and bit my tongue, enjoying every single minute of her amazing response.

"Indeed I do, Kitten. I know for certain now that my reputation will not be tarnished." I smirked proudly. I can make this certainly clear, no one has ever broken my hard-knock exterior......except for Gia. But it was pretty impossible for me not to. And don't get me wrong, I did fear that I was too rough on her but, she insisted that she liked it best. After all, even if I tried, at that moment I couldn't really magic away my fearlessness, roughness and toughness from everything that I did.

Her room was only lit by the flashing tv screen and the feeble light peeping out the blinds. Our conversations about our misfortunes didn't stop, even though we both agreed to keep a lid on it until we were reunited with the others.

"Why us?" Gia couldn't get her poor little head around why she was targeted of being a Sinner. Her face showed it all. The fear. The depression. The pain. Absolutely everything.

"I don't even know. Perhaps we were already born with abnormalities." I uttered as I perched my arm securely around her waist. The talks we had when we were once inseparable were back in motion, and how much nostalgia it brought back to us was not even explainable.

"It's strange, isn't it? Do you ever just wonder, where did we actually come from?" Gia chuckled briefly before I carried on from her, taking the words right out of her mouth.

"Or who our parents actually are?"

"Exactly."

"All the time. I don't really think that we'll ever meet our real parents. But I guess that they won't be superheroes, considering that we're all Sinners of the universe." I huffed with fatigue, looking down at my inked arms, a constant reminder of my curse.

"You got that right. But no matter how successful we are in this adventure to get rid of these treacherous "blessings", I'll always end still known as the outcast, the ugly, a disappointment." She sounded like she was speaking from her heart. Has someone called her an outcast, ugly and a disappointment? I wasn't showing my full rage but inside I was livid. My head took a rather alerting turn to Gia, shaking her head, brushing it off like it was nothing and concentrating her eyes back on the screen.

"Has someone said that to you?" I didn't want to sound frightening, yet the alarm bell in my voice was clear. She suddenly grabbed a hold of my hand, attempting to calm me down.

"Yeah but..it's nothing. I'm used to it." My head landed on her shoulder trying to soften what I was going to ask next.

"Do you need me to sort them out for you?" She shook her head vigorously.

"No, no. It's fine, E." I respected her because that was also another story that I didn't want to delay our main mission with.

"If you say so. But babe, you're talking to the Son of Wrath here. They won't be coming back for more once I'm finished with them." And she knew that for bloody certain, hence why she scurried onto my lap, hiding her face in my neck, giggling knowingly.

"I know that hehe."
