Anika's pov
Ahhh my head is paining like hell. Ash was right I shouldn't take more than 3 shots. But so stupid of me whenever I think about him I don't what happens to me. My heart and mind never listen to me. It favors him not me. Again I am thinking about him. Shut up Anika. You promised you will not think about him but again you are repeating the same.
But wait a minute yesterday I was in club and someone kissed me. But right now I'm sitting in my bedroom. What happened between? How come I landed here? All I could remember is my spinning head and stumbling feet. That kiss was the only good thing that happened to me. Anika you are not a cheapdi. You will never kiss a random guy. Your first and last kiss both will be shared by only him. A flashback came into her mind.
Flashback starts
" Anika you are not supposed to drink more than 3 shots but you crossed 5 shots. Darling understand it's not good for your health", he said.
" But I only drink if I am sad", she argued.
" Don't worry darling I will fill your life with happiness", he promised.
" And what if I don't listen to you", she challenged him.
" If that's the case then I am going to punish you", he smirked at her.
" Punishment?", She narrowed her eyebrows in confusion.
Before she could realise what happened he slammed his lips on her. Now all she could remember is only him. After a few minutes of wild kiss they broke apart due to lack of oxygen.
" I love your punishment", she smiled.
" You are a wild mess anika", he smiled at her.
" Indeed I am", she laughed and pulled him closer for another kiss.
Flashback ends
Arghh anika stop it yaar again you are thinking about him. I think you are hallucinating a lot. You must have got some cab and reached here. As a new year promise from today you will never drink more than 3 shots.
Her phone rang. She saw the caller ID. It was from her sister. She didn't attend it. She didn't want to ignore her but right now she need some space. She may end up in one more argument. She can't afford any more problem in her life. She dedicated to talk to her later.
She got up from her bed. She was still in yesterday dress. She changed herself to some t shirt and pyjamas. She tied her loose hair into bun. She was about to go out of her room but suddenly something stuck on her eyes. She walked towards her table but she stopped in middle as she heard someone voice.
" Ani", omkara called her.
" Om", she hugged him.
" Here drink this lemonade. You will feel better", he gave her a glass of lemonade.
" Aww sweet heart seriously you are the best", anika pinched his cheeks cutely.
She drank the lemonade and felt somewhat better.
" Why you drink so much Ani? When you know it's not advisable to drink then why are you doing it? How many times I told you to not drink. But you never listen to me. You are not the same Ani whom I know in my college days. You changed a lot. What happened to you in past 2 years?", Omkara asked with concern.
" Om my darling please yaar. Let's not dig my past. We have better things to remember not my past. Moreover today is new year. What are you planning to do?", She asked him.
" Okay let's leave it. I am planning to finish my pending work today", om said.
" You are such a workholic", Anika teased him.
" How do you feel now? Is your head still paining?", he asked her.
" Aww you care for me a lot. I am very special to you na", Anika grinned.
" Yes I care for you it's because you are my...", He was stopped in middle.
" Om please don't sister zone me. I can be your friend but not sister. I can never be a sister to a hot hunk like you. What will the world say?", Anika started her drama.
" You drama queen. Now get ready I prepared breakfast for you. Come soon I am waiting", om kissed her forehead gently and went from there.
Omkara is anika's roommate for past 8 months. He is an artist having his own firm. He is housemate of Anika m He earns good amount of money but didn't change his dorm because of anika. They both know each from college days. They are not so close to each other in college but now they know each other very closely.
At first Anika didn't open up to him. He felt she lost something very important in her life. But soon she came out of her shell and now they are close buddies. Although anika never shared her past with him. It's not that she didn't trust him it's just that she didn't want to make him sad by telling her past. They both share a deep relationship which is beyond anyone understanding.
Anika's room
She freshened herself and got ready. She again noticed something on her table. She went towards it and saw a small box with a note. She opened the box only to find a beautiful ring.
She read the note
"I am back darling".
Her world stopped spinning.
" No he can't be back", she shouted the same dialogue again and again. She started to break nearby things. She can't control her fear, anger or love which she may not agree.
Her phone ringed.
" Hello", Anika said. She attended the call.
She dropped her phone in shock listening to the information from other side.
