5 Months Later...

These passed months have been okay I guess. Joseph fell all the way back with the molesting. My mom is happy now that she finally found 'the one'. Ken has been sneaking out a lot to go get pussy, and when Jerry takes momma out on dates and stuff, he brings them to the house. Mom is moving Jerry in the house today. She already asked Auntie Jackie if it was okay and Auntie Jackie said it was okay as long as he cleans up after himself and doesn't cause her or us kids any problems. And something big is coming up. Jerry said that he has grown to love my mom to death, and same with Kaylee, he said he has no problem fathering Kaylee. But she still deserves to know who her REAL dad is. My mom agreed and somehow got in contact with Kaylee's real dad and is going back to Detroit to meet him and they will take it from there. Kaylee is doing good she started cutting teeth at 3 months. She's started crawling. Oh yea she's 6 months old. Life is going good though...I guess.
I put my journal up under my bed.I go downstairs and see Kaylee crawling on her blanket while watching bubble guppies, and laughing while blowing spit bubbles.
I say the door open as bags get carried in. I really don't have a problem with Jerry being here, because he keeps my mom happy with his, genuine love, plus he's like a dad to me and he's pretty laid back.
After they got settled they was downstairs laughing and talking. "Can I go to the mall and movies with Grace tonight?" I ask My mom and Jerry. My mom looks at Jerry. "Yea how much you need?" He asks pulling his wallet out.
"Hold up! What did I just witness!?" I hear Ken asks. "Kayla you don't gotta ask him for shit! And momma why is you looking up at him like you waiting on him to give her an answer! He is not our daddy!" Ken snaps. "Boy shut the hell up! Before I send back with your daddy!" My mom yells. "You think he wanna be yo daddy! He don't! You wanna know why? Because of your fucking attitude! Now I see why your dad beat the shit outta you!" She adds yelling. I'm surprised she said something so foul. Ken glares at her with tears in his eyes, before rushing out the house.
Jerry hands me a $50 dollar bill, before
heading upstairs with my momma rushing after him. I go upstairs and put on my white tank top, and a pair of pants, with my hot pink and orange huaraches. I throw my pink and gray Nike hoodie on with my owl chain that my momma and daddy got me for my 5th birthday. I grab my iPhone 6s off the charger and grab my shoulder purse.
I go out the house, and see Ken on the porch smoking a blunt. "Can you take me to Grace house?" I ask Ken. "Yea" he answers throwing his blunt on the ground and stomping it.
We get in his new Red 2018 Toyota Camry that Jerry bought him. I don't know how Jerry gets all this money but he has a lot of it.
When we pulled up I got out and took the key form under the mat. I unlocked the door and opened it. I put it back under the mat.
"I'm home!" I yell. "Hey babe!" I hear Grace's mom, Gracy yell from the kitchen. "Where is "my bestfriend?" I ask walking into the kitchen. "Hey momma" I say hugging her smiling wide. "Hey, she's in her room getting ready to go to the mall and movies" she tells me hugging me back.
"Where is Hannah?" I ask referring to Grace's little sister. "She's at a cheerleading game" she answers. I nod.
"How is your mom doing?" She asks me. "She's actually doing great you know. Jerry makes her so happy, and he's actually like a dad to me. We have a really close bond." I answer smiling. "That's great, life is finally doing good for you" she smiling warm at me. She knows about everything I went through, except me getting raped, I didn't even tell Grace.
"Yea I guess" I say. She looks at me. "If you need another therapy session let me know" she says. Oh yea, she's a therapist by the way, a real good one too. "I will, I will. I'm doing good, I promise" I say smiling. She nods. "What about your brother. Tell him that one session won't work" she tells me.
After I peeped how Ken was walking around upset and smoking all the time. So I convinced him to go to her. It helped him a little but he went back to smoking again cause he didn't continue on with his sessions.
"I will" I say nodding. "How the 6 month addition?" She sings. "She's good she's crawling now. Jerry said that he would father her, since he's grown to love her as his own, and my mom. But he said that she should still be able to know who her real daddy is growing up cause he knows how it feels to be raised by someone else and he feeling isn't good. So my mom is meeting up with her dad" I inform her. She nods. "That's very good he seems like a very nice man, but a broken down person..tell him maybe he should come and see me" she says. "I will" I say nodding.
I walk out the kitchen and up the stairs heading to Grace's room. I walk in and see her bathroom light on. I walk in there and see her doing her makeup. "Ayo" I say throwing my hands up. "Ayo to you too" she says laughing.
"Your done?" I ask her. "Yea" she said checking her self in the mirror. She checked her hair and turned around. You ready she says unplugging her iPhone 7. "Yea, gurl come on" I say walking out the bathroom with her behind me. We go downstairs and see her 10 year old sister. "Let me go get my keys." Her mom says going upstairs.
"Guess what Grace, My mom said my monkey's growing hair." Hannah brags. "Oh yea, my monkey eats bananas" Grace says sticking her tongue out. Hannah gasp. "Lucky" she whines crossing her arms. I'm over here dying laughing.
"Alright girls come on" Grace Mom says walking down the stairs. "Mom when will my monkey be able to eat bananas" Hannah ask. "What the fuck she just say?" Ms.Gracy says sounding black. "Grace said her monkey eats bananas" Hannah repeats. "Her monkey will be eating a doctor appointment tomorrow and if her monkey isn't a virgin she's moving out!" Her mom goes off glaring at her. "Chill" is all Grace could get out from fear.
We're walking around the mall. "Kayla what am I going to do I'm not a virgin. I'm gonna be fucking homeless tomorrow. Omg." She freaks out. "Chill we can just pay the doctor off" I say shrugging my shoulders as we walk into Rue21.
"Yea, yea pay the doctor off" she says calming down. "We are here for our job interview" I tell the manager. She nods smiling. "Come right this way" she says leading us to the back. A few weeks back me and Grace filed for a job.
We just got out and they said we could start on Monday. A bitch happy as fuck. We went and saw Happy Death Day.
Ms.Gracy dropped me off at home. "It's almost time for dinner, your late" my mom says as soon as I enter the door. "How you gone say it's ALMOST time for dinner and then say I'm late" I say confused. "Is the street lights on?" She asks. "Yea I guess" I asked. "Alright then!" She snaps.
I roll my eyes going upstairs. "Hey, you have fun at the mall?" Jerry asks passing em by the stairs. "Yea it was cool , I guess" I say heading up to my room. I take my shoes off then go across the hall to my mom's and Jerry room. I don't see Kaylee in her crib.
I go downstairs. "Where's Kaylee?" I ask my mom. "In here with Jerry" my mom answers. I go into the kitchen and see him rocking her with the bottle in her mouth. "Oh" I say. "Dinner is ready go tell Ken and Joseph to get down here and eat" She demands grabbing some plates.
I go upstairs to Ken's room. I see him, and Joseph laughing while looking at Ken's phone. "Bitch thick as a muhfucka" Ken says laughing. "Dinner's ready" I say heading out there room.
When we all got down there we started eating. "Did y'all say praise?" Jerry asks coming from downstairs from laying Kaylee down. "No, you wanna know why? Cause you ain't my daddy." Ken says. My mom jumps across the table and punches Ken in the chest making him fall out his chair.
"You gone watch your mouth when you talking to him!" She yells sitting back down. "So if I'm not yo daddy, I shouldn't be giving you shit right? So you do you want me to just take yo new car? Is that what it is?" Jerry asks Ken. Ken gets up and goes upstairs.
We did our praise and now we're eating. "Ma so we went to Rue21 today and got the job i start tomorrow on Monday after school" I say getting happy. My glances at me sucking her teeth then glances back at her fork. "Jerry, I told Ms.Grace about what you said about feeling lonely and stuff when you was young and she said you could come and visit her for a session.." I tell him.
"Listen here! Don't be going around telling all of his business! Don't nobody wanna hear about the shit hat bitch have going on and is offering! She just tryna make some damn money off of us! Cause she think just because we black we got problems! Go to your fucking room Kay!" She yells at me making me jump. I get up and go upstairs, she is so mean.
