Ember's POV
"I'll kill him one of these days I swear! Stupid green headed puddin!" Harley huffed slouching back in her chair.
I was currently out with Harley trying to find my maid of honour dress for the upcoming wedding and even though we were having fun Harley knew from the look on my face something was up.
"I don't know what to do Harley! Everyone I speak to tells me to leave but I can't I just can't" I exclaimed throwing my arms up in the air.
"It's because ya love him dolly! Trust me I've been there before, I've tried to leave him and it's never worked not until you came into the picture" she sighed sadly reaching for my hand.
"Honestly Harls I don't think it's love not anymore, I stay because of Diamond! She favours him, he's her whole world. Say what you want about him abusing me but I can't deny he's a good dad to Diamond, he'd do anything for her, anything" I explained slapping my hand against my forehead.
"So whatcha gonna do?" Harley asked leaning her head sideways, a look of pity on her face.
"The only thing I can do.....survive until I die" I announced strongly before turning around and walking back into the dressing room.
An hour later and we were finally heading back to our homes. As much as I loved Harley I was glad to be away from her!
This wedding was driving her even more insane and it seemed as if the maid of honour got all the abuse. My feet were in agony from trying on what seemed like thousands of dresses. I was so happy for her but she was seriously stripping me of every piece of energy.
To be honest I wished I could have opened up to Abby about my problems, I mean she was my best friend so why had she been ignoring me lately. No matter what I said or did she wouldn't answer me. Maybe it had something to do with the fact she was now close friends with Melody and didn't need me at her side anymore.
Pulling up outside the house I grabbed my coffee and headed inside.
I froze for a moment as I heard Mr J's laugh echo through the door followed by a light feminine giggle.
Was she here?!
In my home!
Anger quickly began to bubble in me and all I wanted was to March in there and go mad but I needed to play it safe.
Instead of freaking out I took a deep breath and slowly twisted the door handle.
As the door open I caught a glimpse of Mr J and a brunette woman making my eyes burrow in confusion.
Hearing the door open they both turned to me.
Oh my god!
Letting out a gasp of pure shock my coffee slipped out my hand and puddled around me as I looked on in shock.
"Look who's home!" Mr J grinned towards me.
I couldn't respond, it was like my whole body had shut down.
The brunette was Melody!
She...she...she looked just like.....me.....
Her once golden hair was a deep dark brown, her skin was paler and her once crystal blue eyes were now as dark as chocolate buttons.
It wasn't that she now had my features oh no what bothered me was the fact she had my pre chemical features.
He had created and shaped her into the old Ember.
Why?
Why had he done this?!
I couldn't stop the tears that slowly began to fall down my cheeks and that's when I heard it.
"Mammy! Mammy!" Diamond called out excitedly and that's when my sadness turned to rage.
That woman was holding MY child!!
Throwing the rest of my things to the floor I charged towards her like a mother lion.
"Take your little whorish fingers off my child before I rip them off!" I sneered, my eyes flashing dangerously as I reached out for my peanut.
"Little dolllllll!!!" Mr J dragged out in warning.
"I...I...was...j..j..just...holding...hhh...her" Melody whimpered taking a step back.
"Do not make me tell you again! If you do not hand MY child to me right now I will cake these walls in your blood!" I growled gaining on her.
Gulping she gave me a quick nod and shakily passed me Diamond.
Turning towards Mr J I gave him the biggest look of disgust and for a moment I was sure he flinched.
"If you ever bring your slut into my house and near my peanut again I will not hesitate to stick a knife through your heart while you sleep!" I whispered viciously so Diamond would not hear.
Holding my head high I began making my way up the stairs.
"Ahahahahahahaaaaaa ahahahahaaaaa!!!!" Mr J cackled making me freeze as I reached the landing.
Taking a deep breath I reluctantly turned towards him.
"Did you not learn your lesson little doll?" He spoke calmly, stepping onto the stairs.
"Learnt my lesson?!" I exclaimed holding Diamond closer to me.
"It seems you have forgotten who is in charge around here once again! Now what shall we do about that?" He smirked evilly.
"Oh hey Ember you're ba...." Mary chirped but quickly froze as she saw Mr J stalking up the stairs.
Sensing it was about to get bad I thrusted Diamond into her arms without taking my eyes away from the predator.
"Mary take Diamond away quickly!" I ordered.
Giving me a nod she hurried off to who knows where.
"What'ssss wrong little dolly ahahahaaaa?!" He pouted mockingly.
"Oh nothing just the fact you have you're SLUT IN MY HOUSE!" I roared standing my ground, fists clenched at my sides.
Before I could blink he had closed the distance between us and sent us both tumbling to the ground.
"You're lucky daddy is going away on business today or your beautiful face would be gracing the gates!" Mr J sneered before letting out a chuckle as he patted my cheek.
"Awwww is someone taking their whore on holiday, how nice is that!" I smirked sarcastically.
*SMACK!*
A loud scream slipped from my lips as he slammed his fist into my face.
"NO DON'T!" I tried blocking my face with my hands but it was no use.

"YOU WILL LEARN YOUR PLACE!" Mr J roared.
*SMACK!*
"DADDY NOOOOOO!!!!"
The sound of a child's cry made everything stand still.
"Diamond" he whispered letting out short whimper as he turned to look at her.
I watched too in horror as she ran towards us, a look of terror on her face, tears streaming down her chubby cheeks.
She didn't stop until she had flung herself in my arms shielding me from him.
"NO HURT MY MAMMY NO NO NO! DADDY MWNSTER!!!!!" She screeched in loud sobs holding onto me tighter.
"Little clown" he cooed reaching out to touch her making her scream more.
"NO TOUCH NO TOUCH!!!!"
She was hysterical and I couldn't help but cry with her.
Everything was such a mess!
"Just go you're not wanted here!" I croaked out at him as I rocked my child.
He went to protest but looking down at Diamond he slowly stood up and backed away.
Relief flooded through me as he began to descend back down the stairs to where 'Ember' stood in shock. Grabbing her arm he gave us one last mournful look before walking out the door, slamming it behind him.
Letting my head drop I finally let myself breathe, I hoped he never came back!
