Okay, it's time to answer your questions! Yeah! Maybe...lol. Let's do this!
-Q and A-
Question from meonlyme12: P.S. There will be a next book right?
Answer: Of course!!! This story is nowhere near done and there is so much more I want to do! It may be a month or so before I get back on it but it will be happening! Promise!
Question from Cookie40p: can you write a book about just the sidemen eventually- I mean I love all the side characters but it gets a bit confusing (especially pride prejudice and sidemen)
Answer: I know exactly what you mean with Pride. I don't know why I keep bringing people in honestly, I just really love expanding the story I guess. That's part of the reason I was so grateful and still am, for Micky taking on a couple of the characters in his own book Carriers Guard. I might actually give him a few of them permanently to help with the stress of the story.
I want to one day, write a book without so many focus characters and just the Sidemen, it's just when is the problem. lol. I've got too many ideas for my poor little ole' brain.
Question from Livie_Writes: Do you actually like to write about this book? Like if someday you hate it or something? I get that and it's terrible. (Say not understanding what to write next or something. <3)
Answer: So, funny story actually...towards the end, about 20 chapters ago, I sort of developed this EXTREME hatred for this book. Now look, I know it sounds bad, but, and hear me out. At first, I loved this book. Loved the idea, loved the response I was getting, everything. But then, this book basically became my writing life and it made it hard to do other projects I want to do because I made the thing so massive and had so many plans for it and you guys loved it so much that it was my main focus in writing. So, I made this big push so I could end it and ease my mind, which it has, immensely. So yes, I hated this book, especially towards the end, but still, this is my first completed book and I love it dearly, just as long as I don't have to write it. lol
Question from CeCe1004: Why did you pick Rob to be the "villain"?
Answer: Truthfully, because there had to be one. That's it. No story is really great without someone for your readers to hate. Now, in the beginning, it was going to be all three of them, Rob, Mitch, and Jerome, as the villains but a big Jerome fan *cough* Micky *cough* came to me, concerned about his Bacca. It was then I decided to give him and Mitch different roles in the story as poor innocent pawns. Crazy how things change, right?
Question from Queen_Elsa_16: Do you have a favorite book?
Answer: Now, first, I don't do favorites a lot, but I do have top threes for a lot of things. For real books, my top three favorites are: By the Time You Read This I'll Be Dead by Julie Anne Petters, Animal Farm by George Orwell, and A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. For Fanfiction: Hidden >> Minizerk by grunge-sdmn, Flower Crowns and Snapbacks by DemSidemenBoys, and (be prepared for a shocker people) Mr Barn by MichaelFoley2. (See, told you)
Question from Rainy-shadow: which sideman do you relate to the most and which sideman did you enjoy writing the POV in the most?
Answer: So, the Sidemen I relate to the most is Ethan. He and I are very similar in our thought process about ourselves, unfortunately, and we both have this insane love of laughing and our energies are really similar. I can understand his pain and his happiness far more than any of the other Sidemen to the point where I think we could be lost twins some days. As for favorite POV....honestly...it had to be Vik. I just enjoyed writing him because he was the center of all the love and affection but at the same time, he was sort of the head of the relationship without being it, if that makes sense. It made him fun to write and gave me more options with him. Simon was a close second though. (surprisingly)
Question from hopestar524: How did you become so great at writing? And how do you manage to update books so often? I need tips please
Answer: So, this first part is simple. Practice, practice, and feedback. You can't get good at writing without those three things, well those and your ideas. I also looked up some tips which helped. Tumblr has got a few really good pages with lots of good and helpful tips (let me know if you want the link to the master page, I'll pm you), which helped me fine tune my writing and make it better. There was also, and this is just pathetic, but when I would go back and read my stuff after it was published and noticed all the mistakes, I sort of got tired of seeing the same mistakes over and over again, so I worked to fix them.
Honestly, I have no idea how I manage to update so often. I work 40 hours a week, have 11 dogs to deal with, a mom, two sisters, Youtube videos to watch, a house to pick up, and a best friend to constantly annoy, I am surprised I keep up with the schedule I set. I think it's because I really try to only write when I feel like I am in a writing mood. Like, I don't know if this makes sense or not, but I try not to force myself to write when I don't feel like it and it allows me to write more faster because I am excited and happy to write. Sometimes I will even start stuff and then leave it to go do something else. Breaking it up throughout the day for me helps me to get it written down and still do the things I need to do. Plus some gentle nudging from people. *gets shoved the ground by demands for more Pride*. Really gentle nudging helps to keep me on track too. This doesn't work for everyone though. Really, you don't want to force yourself to write because it will make it harder to write, just let it flow naturally.
The only other tips I have is to just write you want, never think about what anyone else is going to think. Write makes you happy and it will all flow smoothly, sometimes. Nothing is ever perfect the first time, just remember you can always go back and fix it. It's not permanent. One last thing, never be afraid to write what you have experienced in life. One of my favorite quotes is You write what you know. The experiences you have been through have shaped you and they can help shape your stories.
Question from me_is_sarcasm: Where do you work..... Not where really but what do you do
Answer: This is a simple one. I am an overnight stocker at a warehouse store. Well, when I say stocker, I mean run around girl for my night manager. I seriously do a lot of running around for him. lol
Well, that's the end of the Questions and Answers and the end of this book permanently.
I just want to say, thank you, everyone, for your love and support and I honestly could not have done it without you. I know I mention Micky slightly obsessively....okay, extremely obsessively, but I do care about you guys too. Honestly. It was everyone's love and support that helped me so thank you, thank you so much.
Well, I guess TTFN Ta Ta For Now! I will see you in the next book.
Oh, before I forget, be sure to pay attention to my one shot book. Closer to the release date of the next Star book, I am going to be dropping some hints in there, just to get you guys pumped up. lol.
I hope enjoyed reading this book, I honestly do, and may your days be filled with love, smiles, and laughs.
