you opened your eyes slightly to the sound of clicking but quickly ignore it and snuggle closer to sans you feel his arm around your waist slightly tighten around you and you hear another click but you ignore it again. you feel something moving and you hear the closing of a door and sleepily open your eyes the first thing you see is sans white shirt that was under his blue jacket and speaking of blue jacket that was the second thing you see
you looked up and saw sans looking down with a smile on his face "morning y/n," you stuck your face in sans white shirt and said "it's not morning until i say it is" you heard sans chuckle and wrap his arms around you again and a hand scratching your ears
and soon you're purring and your tail goes side to side lightly you hear sans chuckling again and keep purring and even though the sound of your purring is the main sound you hear sans whisper "how was i able to live without you?"
you smile and keep purring you stayed like that for a long time and once almost falling asleep, after a while sans pulled back and lifted your head so you were facing him he smiled and said "is it morning now?" you smiled and pulled sans down for a kiss after you pulled back you said
"yep, now it's morning" sans smiled and put his arms under your wings and legs and lifted you up ending you in a bridal position he then got off and proceeded to pick you up and carry you out of the room you clung to his neck with both arms and said almost frantically
"you know i can walk you know?" he just chuckled and walked down the stairs and sat down on the couch with you on his lap you chuckled blushing and said "what was that about?" he just smiled, shrugged and relaxed giving you complete freedom of what you wished, you shook your head and got up to start breakfast
your face still warm from what had just transpired you shook it off as you pulled the bacon and eggs from the fridge you took your phone and earbuds (which you managed to grab before being carried off by sans) and pressed play on your playlist and a song came on that now you could put into a different definition you smiled and started to hum along, and then sing quietly

you smiled and turned the bacon and set it back in the oven still singing quietly after the song was done you were finished with breakfast and then something unexpected tackled you to the ground "whoa!" you turned your head around and found a blond haired girl aka sophie in a deep purple t-shirt you smiled and hugged her back and she said "don't you dare ever turn into a evil version of yourself unless you tell me ok?" you laughed and replied "ok, i won't, but no promises"
she released you and helped you up you shook your head smiling and took out a bowl and a plate and set the scrambled eggs in it and just then the timer went off in your head "BACON!!!!" you placed the bowl and plate on the table and saw agrian rush in along with the rest of the muskets as they set the table with plates and forks,
they dug in before you had a chance to sit down even gaster and pap came in hurriedly and only sans came in the dining room calmly, you sat down next to sans and smiled "have you missed my cooking this much?" everyone nodded in unison, you chuckled, filled your own plate and started eating
~<~<~<~time skip to end of day srry~>~>~>~
you had just finished your evening shift and were walking home when you see a ghost of the silhouette of a man, a rather familiar man, you narrow your e/c eyes, you had adopted your magick shield because you still felt uneasy about showing what you truly were, however your crystal had remained f/c and glowed whenever you felt a different emotion other then casual, and right about now it glowed softly reacting to your uneasiness,
you went forward cautiously letting your senses heighten slightly and you heard a noise, it was slight, but in the dead silence it was loud to your sensitivity, you sped up slightly and past an alleyway after you past it you heard a voice "oh, c'mon, don't just walk away~" you flinched, it was jabberjay's voice and he lathered it with a silky smooth covering you kept walking but then the dolt himself blocked your way you stopped and calmly, but firmly, said "please. move."
he smiled but you saw hints of insanity in it, same with his eyes, you kept a straight face but your eyes widen slightly at the knife he pulled from behind his back his voice was still silky but it also had edge to it "oh, no, i don't think i will, unless you come with me~"
you laughed a little and said "why on earth would i ever follow you?" your crystal glowed a little brighter at your agitation and jabberjay's attention was directed to it but soon he looked back up at your face you had about 6 feet distance between you and him and you planned on keeping it that way
he was of a more average height and so he was taller then you by a few inches he spoke again but without the silk "well, he wasn't kidding," you couldn't help but think that wasn't all that good, he smiled and somehow it seemed more insane and blood-thirsty "but just to make sure" he ran at you and you, out of reflex, summoned a owl claw and snap the knife, he had in hand, in half, the claw dispersed before he could see it and you jumped and sailed over jabberjay kicking him in the small of his back
he was pushed forward and landed on his hands and knees you however landed softly on your feet you turned around and said with a hint of disgust in your voice "sorry jabberjay, but i told you, i don't deal with big jerks like you, who use anybody they can get their grubby hands on" you then turned around and continued walking back home you heard him laugh and turned your head around and saw he was staring at you with a creepy and insane look, with his head tilted to the side he stopped laughing
that's when you saw several figures come out from behind him, his hench men, you frowned slightly and started to run away, coward thing to do yes, but you just wanted to go back home after an exhausting day, you heard the hench men chase after you and you briefly wondered if you should fly away but thought against it, you were starting to tire but refused to stop you saw the cross-roads to Ruins road and snowdin road, you were panting but still heard the heavy steps of pursuit you knew you would have to take a detour
coming to a decision you turned away from the cross-roads and into the park and climb a tree quickly getting higher so they couldn't get you, it would be safer if he didn't know where you lived, but you were running out of options, your family and friends were bound to know something was wrong, you were never this late, the only reasonable choice was to call for help you took out your phone and quickly scrolled down your contacts list and tapped paps you raised the phone to your ear and heard paps voice come on the first ring
TGP: HUMAN! YOU HAVE FINALLY CALLED! WE WERE STARTING TO GET WORRIED, WHAT IS THE REASON THAT YOU ARE LATE?
you: hey pap, yeah i'm sorry i'm late, something came up, could you give the phone to sans please?
you heard pap shouting for sans and then the sound of handing the phone
sans: hey y/n, like paps said we were starting to get worried
you heard snickering but you ignore it, you were calmed just by the sound of sans voice but then with one quick glance down your slight panic returned
you: sans, i need help, i can't get out of this tree
sans: uh, couldn't you just fly out?
you: well, i would, but the thing is, jabberjay would see me
sans: what?
you: jabberjay and his hench-men would see me
you look down and watch in horror as the said hench men start climbing the tree, you pull yourself up one more branch careful not to drop your phone your breathing quickened slightly
sans: what happened?
you: jabberjay cut me off while walking home and now he wants to kidnap me or something
sans: where are you?
you: in a tree in main street par- ah!
one of the hench men grabbed your leg and started to pull you down you kicked free and climbed higher
sans: y/n?! are you ok?
you: he got my leg
sans: i'm coming, hang tight
the call ended and you looked down and saw the hench-men coming closer you were running out of room to climb but you saw something blue and white appear at the base of the trunk sans shouted "y/n! jump!" you didn't question him and leaped into the air just as jabberjay and his men reached for you,
you were falling but soon a blue aura surrounded you and your crystal glowed vibrantly and you felt a sense of calm came before you the aura slowed you down and into sans arms you clutched onto him and he rubbed your head looking at the tree you felt your magick wind next to you and next thing you know your in your room
~<~<~<~time skip again srry~>~>~>~
after telling everyone about what happened you went to bed you were so exhausted that all you wanted to do was enter your covers and fall asleep but something out there probably didn't want you to have a peaceful night because as soon as you fell asleep a nightmare came and disturbed it....
~<~<~<~nightmare/past?~>~>~>~
you were standing beside a pillar in a golden hallway and saw sans and chara you stepped forward but then the background turned black and white and sans threw chara around, bones were getting thrown around like water droplets and knife swings were almost as frequent you wanted to tell them to stop
but a f/c mist wound next to you and rooted you to the ground, as if it didn't want you to interfere, you looked at chara and the look chara had you knew that wasn't the chara you saved, with dark red eyes and a creepy smile, it reminded you of jabberjay's smile before he ran at you, you saw sans kill this chara over and over again
but she kept coming back, a small yellow four point star would appear out of her hands and then disappear you saw sans was getting tired and wanted to help him but you couldn't move you just stayed beside the pillar just watching all this transpire, with the f/c mist still wrapped around your legs then something different happened...
chara killed sans
she sliced through his shirt and jacket and what looked like blood spilled out from the wound you cried out in disbelief he fell down with a shocked expression and chara walked on, the mist chaining you to the ground evaporated and you rushed to sans crying but you couldn't touch him as you were transparent, ghost-like, all you could do is just watch as sans withered away into a fine pile of dust with these words
"papyrus, do...you...want..anything?"

you bolted upright gasping and sans teleported onto your bed and when you saw him you looked at him and he wrapped you up in his arms and securing you with his magick, you dug deep into his jacket and into his neck, tears streaked down your face as you were crying and took a shaky breath every now and again, sans was trying to calm you down by rubbing the tender spot and whispering soothing words to you,
he cradled and calmed you making sure that he was gentle, your crystal was glowing with f/c as well as the royal blue coloring that was sans magick "hey, hey, it's ok, it's ok," you clutch onto him and he rocked you back and forth lightly, after a while you calmed down and stayed in sans arms not wanting to leave ever again,
sans pulled back slightly and you raised your head to meet his gaze, his 'eyes' were filled with worry and comfort and his smile was soft and also filled with comfort he touched his foreskull to your forehead and closed the distance between your lips and his teeth the warm feeling spread across your being and you felt sans stroking your wings
when sans pulled back he asked "what was it about?" you hugged sans and murmured "you died sans" sans hugged you and you nuzzled closer to him "how?" you could barely get one word out but the one word made sans tense slightly and you had a good idea why
