Author's note: basic mechanics is that while reading the main story, once you made it to chapter 51 (for this particular AP) instead of reading the chap 51 of the main story, you would read this one and go from there, ending up with a different character in the end. i dont know if anyone was confused by how this works but i hope that cleared it up. also, i dont know if anyone has noticed but i literally copy some of the original chapter so i can start the new story line. hopefully it helps in placing the story in the right place for you.

i swear he is the most romantic of anyone. insisted we spend the rest of the time at the park by ourselves. naruto and hinata were down but i could tell kiba and shino weren't all that happy about it. we just walked through the park. he was chatting about something. i couldn't help but think of where we can go with this. with me and him. how long? just a few weeks, months.....years? would we get married? kids? thinking about all this stuff is gonna give me headaches but i cant help but wonder. "wanna ride this one, babe?" he asked, pointing to another rollercoaster. i shrugged and was pulled along. we sat next to each other this time. his hand snaked in mines as the ride started. it felt good. just knowing that there is the potential of something much greater with john now. tsk, just thinking back just a few months ago. only just lost my virginity. i haven't had much experience since i was first with john. kiba like one time and asuma like three times. that was it. ride was over before i knew it. "get a room!!" both of our heads snapped to a guy who was in line in front of us at the concession stand. dark skin with a pony similar to mines. if he were lighter, id say he was my twin. he wore a blue jersey and some black jeans that were two sizes too big showing off a very slender and somewhat lanky physique. cant help but wonder what john if john would be attracted to his look. i could get into it but im not the first in line, per se. looks like he might have a gun. i dont know. his voice was low but....surprisingly intelligent. "we do have a room, dude. you just mad cause you dont have someone as mega sexy and smart as my babe here," john grinned, pulling me close and smashing his lips against mines. he pulled away with a dramatic pop. my face caught on fire. his one arm was around my waist with one hand just a little lower. he busted out laughing. "shit, maybe i am. wish i had me one of them," he grunted, turning to face forward. ill admit that was a bit awkward but whatever.
it took a while but we were finally up for the next seat. it was three people seated next to each other and.....well it was me, john, and the guy ahead of us. it was awkward considering the short exchange just ten minutes earlier. i sat next to john with the guy on the other side of him. my hand snaked into his as the ride started. it got to the top but just as it was about to drop, i noticed the other guy's hand snaking into john's as well. didnt have time question it before the ride started.
"sorry man. force of habit," muttered the guy as we all got out the car. i could see john was just as confused as i was. "he intertwined the fingers and everything. that was no accident," he muttered as we made our way towards the exit. "give me the picture," grunted the guy who was standing at the photo booth. he was handed the picture of the three of us holding hands during the ride. a quick flip of a switch blade and the part of the picture that i was in fell to the ground. he stepped on it as he walked out. seeing that little flurry of activity made my skin crawl. ill have to talk to john about it later.

he has ignored me all day. its....its hard to accept. knowing that kiba is in love with someone else now. i mean, how am i susposed to feel right now? i dont know why i thought we would be able to pick up where we left off when i had left the first time. its really getting to me. we had all went to the bar after spending the day at the park. i could barely control myself. before i knew it, there were three empty bottles on the table in our booth. kiba wasn't paying attention to me at all. he was so busy watching john and shika dance together. you could tell it was a real connection between them. the shika i knew was a wall flower in every definition of the words. i dont know what john did to him to get him on the dance floor but its working. they were intimate, not more than a few inches away from each other on the slow songs. social and wild during the more upbeat songs. they both looked ridiculous but they were smiling and everything. kiba started chuckling. i looked at him. "looks like im not the only one prowling for john," he muttered. i raised a brow. he just pointed to a guy who was standing against the wall with a drink in his hand, staring straight at john as he danced with shika. i sighed. they weren't even paying attention. so focused in their own world that they dont even notice the people who are looking at them. as if kiba wasn't enough. this other guy too? apparently john has something about him that attracts crazies.
"we are gonna head back to the room. you...you guys have a good night," slurred john, drunk off his mind. shika just started busting out laughing, struggling against john's arm around his waist. "and we are not gonna have sex!! i...i dont know why you thought....you thought were gonna have sex," shika sounded like he might have been on drugs. they stumbled away. i watched as the guy who was staring at them finished off his glass and put it up before walking right out the door with them. kiba started getting up. "where are you going?" i grunted. ill be honest. i was hoping kiba would get drunk enough to have sex with me. "dont worry about it," he grunted as he finished off his glass and walked out right after the other three. shit. looks like yet another night of me and my right hand.
