POV - Simon
Warnings: Slight Angst

With that, I ended my recording for my last video for the week. FINALLY! I let out a deep sigh as I dry scrubbed my face in relief that it was all over now. I know I should really get to editing all of these but I can do it later. YAY PROCRASTINATION!
I removed my hands from my face and thought for a moment. What could I do now? I mean, besides actual work. I know I couldn't go bother Josh or Harry since they were recording a video together. JJ may be done but I wasn't sure. I knew Vikk was definitely done, for today at least, he still had to record a few Minecraft videos. He mentioned something about talking to Preston on Skype around this time. Maybe I should go see if he still is.
With that thought I got up from my chair, stretching high up and cracking a few joints. I then exited my room and headed for Vikk's. Approaching his door, I noticed that it was closed. I paused, trying to decide if I should knock or not. Shrugging my shoulders and deciding fuck it, I knocked on the door.
"Yeah?" came JJ's voice from the other side.
I guess JJ was done with videos.
"Hey, can I come in?"
It was quiet for a second before JJ answered.
"Yeah bro, come on in."
Quickly I opened the door, first looking to where VIkk would normally be, sitting at his computer, but he wasn't there. I then turned my gaze to his bed where he was, curled up in JJ's lap, his breathing even, but he wasn't asleep. I turned my attention to JJ, raising an eyebrow and silently asking what was going on. He just shrugged his shoulders in response.
I thought nothing of it and moved to the side of the bed and sat down with them. I curled myself next to JJ's body, my head resting on his shoulder, as I reached out to begin rubbing Vikk's back with my hand, causing him to let out a deep sigh.
Quiet moments like these honestly don't come often enough, which makes me treasure them greatly.
It was quiet for a long while as we just sat there but the air around us was relaxed so I didn't think anything was wrong.
It was a long while, but Vikk finally spoke, his voice quiet as he continued to keep his head against JJ's shoulder.
"I am ready to talk now."
I was completely confused and I looked at JJ for answers. JJ said nothing and instead kept his gaze on Vikk.
"Take your time Star." he said affectionately.
I was really confused and really wanted to know what was going on, so I kept myself quiet.
Vikk took a deep breath before speaking.
"So I was talking to Preston today and he told me that him and Landon went to their families to come out to them about everything." he paused, taking another breath before continuing. "And Landon and Lachlan went first and..." he stopped, his body becoming tight under my hand. I looked down at him and saw that he had buried himself more into JJ's shoulder.
"It's ok Vikk." I spoke softly, realizing that his reaction meant that it had not gone very well. "JJ and I are right here for you."
I watched him take a shuddering breath as he nodded, showing that he had heard me. After a moment he spoke again, his voice tight as he spoke.
"Landon's parents don't believe that two males can be in a relationship, so they disowned him."
The air around us became immediately intense as my heart broke for the poor boy that I have never met.
"They didn't try to accept him at all, just disowned him, just like that?" questioned JJ, shocked.
"Yes." said Vikk, his voice breaking. "And he loves his family so much. Preston got so scared that he didn't even tell his parents that he was moving."
"Oh baby." i said, moving to lean against his back, JJ's arm under my chin as I wrapped my own around both of them. "It's going to be ok. Everything will turn out just fine."
Vikk moved quickly, pushing me off of him as he turned around in JJ's arms. I could see his face red with anger, his eyes blazing as tears fell down from them.
"HOW? HOW IS EVERYTHING GOING TO BE ALRIGHT?" he screamed, staring me dead in the eye. I felt myself flinch a little as he kept going. "THEY DISOWNED HIM SIMON! THEY DIDN'T GIVE HIM AND LACHLAN A CHANCE AND THEY FUCKING DISOWNED HIM! THEY HATE HIM SIMON! ALL BECAUSE HE IS A RELATIONSHIP WITH A FUCKING GUY!" The tears falling down his face increased as he got madder. I didn't say anything and just let him let it out. I know it was probably the best thing to do.
"FUCK SIMON! IF HIS FAMILY CAN'T ACCEPT LANDON BEING WITH ONE GUY, HOW IN THE HELL ARE OUR FAMILIES SUPPOSED TO ACCEPT ALL 7 OF US TOGETHER?" he demanded, the tears still falling down his face.
I should have known that this would come up eventually, the fact that we haven't told our parents yet or even started making plans to. I can see why Vikk would be worried about our parents not accepting us, well except Tobi's family, they were extremely cool about all of it. I just wish it didn't have to come up along with the fact that Landon's family just disowned him like that.
"Vikk." I said softly, reaching out to gently cup his face, my thumbs wiping away some of the tears. His face was still red with anger but he didn't push me away, which was a good sign. "I wish this didn't have to come up now, but I guess it has to, especially in the less than ideal way that it did, but listen. I know coming out to our families is gonna be a scary thing, more scary than coming out the fans, and it would hurt more than if our fans didn't expect us because, fuck, they are family. It doesn't matter though VIkk. Cause in the end, at the end of all of it, we are all gonna come back home together, we are gonna be together to support each other because we love each other. I know the chance of our families not accepting us is frightening but it will be ok. We will all be there to support each other, if our families accept us or not."
Vikk just stared at me wide eyed, not saying a word.
"He's right Vikk." said JJ, moving closer behind Vikk, his arms still around his waist. "We will all be here for each other no matter what. No matter anyone says or fucking thinks. At the end of the day we will all love each other and that is all that matters. Just like with Landon and Lachlan. Sure his parents disowned him but Lachlan is there for him, to love him and support him. Landon will be ok because of that."
"Are you sure?" squeaked out Vikk, his voice hoarse.
"I am sure Little Star." I responded, leaning forward and pecking his lips lightly. "I am sure."
"Ok." he said weakly, the anger that was once in his eyes slowly fading.
I gave him a few minutes, allowing him to calm down, his flushed face becoming normal and his eyes becoming heavy with exhaustion from yelling.
"You wanna lay down and cuddle some more?" I asked softly when I saw that he had fully calmed down.
"Please." he voice sounded so tired.
I nodded and moved to kiss his forehead before I released his cheeks, allowing JJ to pull him back into his arms. Together all three of us laid down on Vikk's bed, the small boy nestled in between me and JJ with his head on my chest and his back against JJ.
I laced my fingers with JJ's and rested them on Vikk's side, allowing me to look down at him. He was already asleep, probably exhausted from his outburst but that was ok. That needed to come out. It was better he dealt with it rather than it building up and everything coming out worse.
I was surprised that me and JJ somehow remaining calm during the whole thing. I am pretty sure normally we both would have exploded as well instead of staying calm for Vikk like we needed which would have lead to something really ugly. I shook the thought from my head and thought nothing more of it as I continued to watch Vikk.
"Hey." called JJ softly and I turned my attention to his face.
"Yeah." I said looking at him.
"You did a good job Momma Minter." he said with a cheeky grin.
"Thanks, wait, what the fuck?" I said, completely confused and surprised.
JJ just chuckled, not answering my question and returned to nuzzling his face into Vikk's hair.
Where in the hell did that come from?

It was actually pretty close most of the time, but it came down to 19 to 14 in the end. Everyone had good points of why each one was better, but I guess eventual indoor pool sex won out. lol
Also, yes Simon has a new nickname because, well, I can. We need some Momma Minter in our lives. Right? lol
