Mizuki's curiosity was not yet satisfied. "And then you have decided to become a couple?"
"Yeah.", answered Yuna.
"So cute. Is he your first boyfriend, Yuna-chan?"
She nodded. "Yes."
"Okay. If you need a few tips, just ask me.", offered Mizuki.
"Excuse me?", persisted the singer.
"You guys can drive a girl into deep despair sometimes."
Wataru squinted. "Likewise."
"Yeah, right. As if we are the bad guys.", doubled Kaito.
"Tip One: If he should be quiet, simply kiss him."
Mizuki put her lips on Kaito's. Yuna looked at the empty soup bowl in front of her. Somehow this smooching was embarrassing. Wataru put his hand on her thigh and smiled at her from the side.
"Come on, guys. Get a room.", groused the singer. The other couple let go of each other.
"Later for sure. Now let's eat." Kaito grinned broadly.
"But not her tongue. Get your act together. We are in a restaurant here."
Yuna didn't want to say anything, but she found this inappropriate too. It was a taboo to kiss in public. That was taught to her, though the Western influence began to shake on these social rules. When she and Wataru had kissed, they were simply overwhelmed by the moment.
Next, a plate full of Sushi and Sashimi was served to them. A little war broke out over the coveted tuna mousse Sushi. Once they were gone, the dinner became quite cozy.
"Have you seen the other video too?", asked Wataru.
The guitarist looked up. "Which other?"
"Someone filmed "Sakura Sayonara" and uploaded it."
Immediately the other two pulled out their cell phones and began to search. With a short delay sounded the guitar from both phones until Kaito put his away again and watched with Mizuki on her phone.
"It's a really nice song.", remarked the older girl.
"She had written it.", explained Wataru.
"I know. I helped her. She wanted to write it for you. You have altered the text at some points."
He nodded. "It seemed appropriate."
"It is." They watched the video until the end. "Hard to believe that it's been nearly two years ago.", said Mizuki.
Again nodded the singer. "Sometimes it seems to me as if it was yesterday."
Yuna and Kaito exchanged a silent glance. Somehow they didn't have to contribute to this conversation. The bassist noticed how uncomfortable the blue-haired seemed to feel.
"Sometimes I look at the old photos from the rock club. It's hard to see her on all of them, because the stupid drums are always in the way.", told the senior high school student.
Wataru chuckled. "She hated the drums."
"She really did."
"I don't want to offend you, but can we change the subject, please? You guys pull me totally down.", wailed Kaito. Thankfully smiled Yuna to him.
"You're such an insensitive asshole!", snapped Mizuki and elbowed him in the ribs.
"OUCH!"
The singer glanced at his girlfriend, who was wearing a neutral facial expression. "No. He's right. For Yuna, it certainly is not exciting when we daydream about the past." The huntress smiled sheepishly and shrugged. "How about we make "Sakura Sayonara" into one of our songs?", inquired Wataru.
Mizuki picked up the topic while Kaito diligently stuffed Sushi into himself. "How?"
"We add the other instruments. Similar to "Through Glass"."
The guitarist pondered for a moment. "Hm ... that might fit. Do you have the tabs?"
"Yeah. I can email them to you."
"Cool. I'll check it out." She pointed to her cell phone. "The video will certainly help too."
"What about me?", asked Kaito.
"If Mizuki is ready, we can rehearse. Nobu has certainly an idea for a beat. Or he will improvise something on the run."
Takeru strolled over to them from the kitchen. On the way he stopped at each guest and asked if everything was okay. Finally he approached their table.
"So, how did it taste?", he asked.
The blonde licked his lips. "It was awesome, Bro."
"Very good, Takeru-san.", praised Yuna.
"Did you make the Sushi?", inquired Mizuki.
"Yes. I've put the double amount of tuna mousse on your plate."
She smiled wide. "You are the best."
"I know. Men want to be like me, and women want to be with me."
"Unfortunately, these two ladies are already committed." The violet-haired winked.
"Maybe I should get in touch with Ayumi-san again.", mused Takeru.
"You're still too young. Even if she's lying because of her age, you will always be three years younger than her.", laughed Wataru.
Yuna wondered if she should mention Susumu, but she didn't want to be a gossip girl, so she kept her mouth shut and ate another Sushi.
Takeru looked at the punk couple. "So. What's going on with you guys?"
"Always the same. School and music.", said Kaito and Mizuki synchronously.
"You are so boring."
"Said the cook.", interjected Wataru.
"Yeah, yeah. I deserve that. What about you, Yuna-chan? Are you in Mizuki's class at school?"
She shook her head. "No. I'm two years below her."
"Oh no. My brother is a pedophile." Takeru smiled broadly.
"Shut up.", growled the other twin calmly.
"All right, brother. Yuna-chan, you've probably noticed by now that he is a sensitive soul."
"I like him just the way he is.", admitted the blue-haired.
"Oho. You have to keep her, boy. You hit the jackpot."
Wataru smiled at his girlfriend. "I know."
Just like his twin brother, the cook apprentice ran his right hand through his hair. "Do you need anything else?"
"No. We would like to pay."
"Okay. I have to get back to work. See you around. Thank you very much for your visit." Takeru bowed and then scurried back to the kitchen.
The waitress came to their table. "All together?", she asked.
"I invite you, Yuna-chan.", offered Wataru.
Kaito ransacked his wallet, then he looked at Mizuki. She pulled her wallet out, searched it and looked back at him, shaking her head. As if they would communicate telepathically, they turned their heads synchronously to the singer.
"Can you lend me some, Bro?", asked the blonde his friend.
He raised an eyebrow. "Honestly? You wanted to go out for dinner without money?"
"Hehe, I've forgotten to get some from the bank."
Yuna pulled her bundle of notes from her sweater pocket. "It's cool. I invite you." They all looked amazed at the pile of money in her hands.
"Have you robbed a bank?!", squeaked Mizuki.
"My uncle gave me an advance for the next month."
"In cash?!"
She shrugged. "He's a little bit weird."
"So, all together?", re-asked the waitress.
"Yes."
"No. I invite you.", insisted Wataru.
"Don't make it complicated. You pay the next time.", fended the huntress off.
"But ... that's not right."
Kaito and Mizuki giggled on their side of the table. "Well, apparently you're dealing with a emancipated woman.", teased the violet-haired.
Yuna gave her an annoyed look. "Would you rather wash dishes in the kitchen?"
"My best friend.", beamed the guitarist.
"Thanks, Yuna-chan. That's nice of you."
Wataru looked unhappy, but didn't quarrel on with Yuna. The blue-haired paid and they left the restaurant. At the door, Kaito and Mizuki already kissed again, whereupon the singer coughed.
"And now Karaoke!", yelled the blonde as he let go of his girlfriend and raised his fist in the air.
"Are you inviting us, deadbeat?", asked Wataru.
"Yuna will invite us for sure."
"No, that would be wrong. Thanks for the dinner, Yuna-chan.", thanked the senior high school student.
The other girl waved. "Gladly."
"We go home, like poor people do.", said the guitarist.
"Do poor people have sex tonight?", whispered Kaito in her ear.
"Uh-huh. I think so."
"Great." They began to paw at each other.
Wataru rolled his eyes. "Get lost, before you rip each others clothes off on the street."
"Hehe. Good night, Bro."
"On Friday at your place, Wata?", asked Mizuki.
"Sure. Then we play some games."
"But only if your wife allows you to. You can't spend your free time like you want to anymore." Kaito grinned mischievously.
"Ciao, Yuna-chan."
"See you guys."
The other couple moved on cuddling. Yuna watched them, until her boyfriend coughed. She turned to him. Smiling, she looked at his face, but she couldn't imagine them to ever cuddle or even kiss in public.
"What would you like to do?", he asked.
"I don't know." She cocked her head. "What do you want to do?"
"I asked you first."
Her shoulders slumped. "No idea. What do you want to do?"
"Whatever you want to do."
"There is nothing I want to do."
Wataru grinned. "Come on. Everything you want."
"Everything I want? For real?!"
"Yeah. I hope we're not going to a swingers party or something weird..."
"You're disgusting."
The singer laughed. "Come on. What do you want to do?"
"Honestly?"
"I insist."
The huntress thought about her gun that was under her armpit. "I would like to go hunting."
Wataru looked at her. "Is this one of those things young people do? Disco or something?"
"No. I want to hunt."
"I don't get you."
The girl stepped closer to him and whispered: "Onihunt." Wide-eyed, the young man looked at her.
