Erlana would never admit it but you- outside of her family and close friends- was the only person she would ever do anything for. All you had to was ask.
Maybe it was because you were the sweetest person alive. Or maybe because you took care of the team like they were your family. Or the way you could light up the room the moment you entered.
Erlana sighed as she swirled the drink in her glass, bored out of her mine.
She hated when Coach threw these Black Tie parties. That meant a suit with dress shoes. Not sneakers that were at least comfortable- dress shoes.
"You okay Erlana?"
She turned to see who asked her the question and gasped. You blushed, as Erlana stood and took your hand, making you spin for her.
You wore what Erlana could only describe as she was going to find the person who sold you this dress and hug them- it was a black strapless dress with glitter- the glitter looked like stars in the night sky when you turned.
It was sweetheart cut so she saw a nice amount of your bust but it still looked classy. Your hair was in a neat bun that had a bright silver hair clip in it. Your makeup was simple- sleek, bold eyeliner with a brown lip- and your nails were black.
You had a diamond choker on with matching hanging earrings and a ring connected to your bracelet. Overall, you shined from head to toe.
"Erlana!"
"Sorry! You just look beautiful! Not that you don't look beautiful on the other days but you-"
Erlana was silenced by your lips on her cheek.
"Thanks Erlana."
She watched you walk off, talking to a random person. Erlana sighed, watching you from afar.

Erlana walked out into the massive garden and saw someone sitting by the little pond, glass next to them.
Erlana instantly recognized you, your dress shining.
"Hey."
You turned and smiled.
"Hey."
You moved over and Erlana sat with you, looking at the pond.
"I hate these types of parties."
You laughed and rubbed your hands.
"I don't mind them. I just hate being single at one of them. Reminds me how forever alone I am. And probably will stay."
"Forever alone?"
You raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah Erlana. I'm single. Like a fucking atom."
Erlana laughed, before looking at your smiling face.
"Well, let me change that."
"Wha-"
Erlana captured your lips in a soft kiss, holding your face in her slightly calloused hand. You leaned closer and felt her free arm wrap around your waist.
Breaking apart, you rest your head on her shoulder.
"You won't be lonely now."
You smiled, claiming another kiss.

Erlana watched as you tried to fend off the flirting Diana. She gripped the basketball tight, ready to throttle the Russian into the ground.
"Erlana....your girl...." Lynetta said.
She stood, ready to March over there until you did what no one was expecting.
You punched Diana straight in the face.
Erlana rushed over, checking your hand and seeing you were okay. She wouldn't tell you that she found that hot (maybe later but not now).
Diana held her face before winking.
"Fiesty. I like that."
"Erlana!"
"Diana, please stop hitting on my girl. She doesn't like it."
Diana glared at Erlana before walking off.
Erlana smooth your hair and kissed your forehead. She chuckled as you hugged her waist, burying your face in her chest.
"Don't worry baby- we'll be home soon."

Erlana chuckled as you hugged the teddy bear to your chest.
"Erlana.....bed..."
"One moment baby."
Erlana changed her pants and slipped into bed, pulling you close. You purred as she ran her hand through your hair.
"Can I just say that I found it extremely hot when you punched Diana?"
You blushed, burying your face in her neck.
"Babe!"
"I'm telling the truth!"
Erlana hugged you as you hid, laughing as she held you close.
You eventually calmed down and kissed her cheek before settling down.
Erlana smiled and kissed your forehead as sleep claimed both of you.

You twirled in the dress making some of the people in the shop stare. You were invited to an art gala- an old friend- and needed a nice dress- even though you just wanted to wear the one you wore to Stephanie's party. But your friend was having none of that and dragged you shopping. This was the sixth dress and you loved it.
It was a simple dress, but you loved it. The bright blue made your skin glow and you felt absolutely beautiful in it.
"You look amazing."
You turned and saw Diana.
"I'm sorry for how I was yesterday. I was out of line and you had every right to punch me."
You nodded.
"Can I make it up to you?"
"How?"
"Well, I need a date to the art gala and I could take you to dinner before it."
You thought about it and nodded.
Diana grinned.
"Alright! Give me your number and we'll talk from there."
You exchanged numbers and you changed, buying the dress and leaving, your friend smiling.

Erlana watched as you laughed, batting your friend's hand before the doorbell rang. You moved to open the door and smiled as Diana entered.
She wore a black suit with a black bow tie. Her hair was pulled back and in a neat ponytail.
"You look beautiful!" Diana said, taking your hands and spinning you. Erlana glared at her.
"Why are you here?"
"I'm escorting her to the gala."
You blushed as Erlana's eyes fell on you.
"A word babe?"
You followed her into the guess room.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want you to be upset."
Erlana pulled you into a hug and kissed your forehead.
"Babe, I wouldn't be mad at you. Do I like the thought? No. But, I can't go- early practice- but I won't stop you from Going. Go and if she pulls anything funny-"
"Punch her again?"
Erlana laughed and nodded, kissing your temple. "Have fun baby girl."
"I will. Thanks Erlana."
You left, Diana holding your hand as you two left.

You blushed as Diana took another picture of you.
"Diana!"
"You are the only masterpiece I see."
You blushed, hitting her arm but letting her kiss your cheek. You were a hit- a lot of people asked you to dance and for pictures. Diana had taken care that you were happy, protected and comfortable.
She lead you back to the car, helping you in before closing the door. She got in and pulled off.
"Enjoyed yourself?"
"Yeah. I'm tired now."
"I'll get you home to your girl."
You smiled as you watched the city go by as Diana drove. You hummed along to the radio, eyes closing as you did so.
Diana smiled before sending a quick text to Erlana telling her you were on your way home and sleeping.
Diana pulled up in front of the house and Erlana walked over.
"Other side."
Erlana gently opened the door and picked you up. You hugged her neck before closing your eyes.
Diana held the door open as you were brought inside.
Erlana laid you down on the couch.
"Thank you."
"No problem."
"Diana."
She stopped and turned.
"I may not appreciate your advances but thank you for looking after her."
"You're welcome. She's a sweetheart."
Erlana smiled.
"Have a safe trip home."
"Thanks."
Diana left and Erlana smiled at your sleeping figure before taking you to bed.
Yup, she definitely had a soft spot for you.
