It's been a busy day and I have to watch my back because these idiots they call themselves Ice Nine Kills, have been trying to get me with water balloons and water guns.
I was sweeping one of the stages, I think it was Falling in Reverse's...I'm not sure,but anyways I'm sweeping the stage and I have that Amy Winehouse song stuck in my head.
"His face in my dreams seizes my guts, he floods me with dread, soaked in soul, he swims in my eyes by the bed, pour myself over him, moon spilling in, and I wake up alone" I sang while sweeping.
"If I was my heart, I'd rather be restless. The second I stop, the sleep catches up and I'm breathless. This ache in my chest, as my day is done now, the dark covers me and I cannot run now, my blood running cold, I stand before him...it's all I can do to assure him, when he comes to me I drip for him tonight, drowning in me we bathe in blue light." I turned around to sweep behind me.
"His face in my dreams seizes my guts, he floods me wi-" I saw someone's shoes standing in front of me.
I let my hair fall in my face as I looked up to see the guitar dude.
I had a tight grip on the broom. Please don't be a nervous wreck.
"Hey" he smiled brightly.
"H-Hey..." I said nervously.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you or anything." He said while sliding his hands in his pockets.
"I-It's fine...I'm usually jumpy anyways." I said shyly.
I began sweeping slowly with my hair covering my eye. I was too embarrassed to show my full face, he heard me singing.
"Hey...um..I heard you singing," he started.
I dropped the broom.
Fuck! I knew he was gonna say something!
My heart started racing.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
I nodded my head yes.
"I-I have to go..." I said.
"I thought you weren't busy? I asked Conor what was on your schedule and he said-" "Conor...?"
"Yes. I asked him."
"I have to go I'll see you tomorrow..." I said rapidly while walking away.
I walked on to my bus and saw Conor sitting on the couch next to Spencer.
I pulled him by the collar of his shirt.
"What did he ask you?!" I asked.
"Who????" He asked nervously.
"That one dude that plays guitar and he wears all black and shit! The one with the long hair and gorgeous blue eyes!"
"He just asked if you were busy!" He said nervously.
I shook him by his collar.
"What else?!" I asked
"He said something about you and Vinny"
"What about?!"
"I don't know?! He just asked if you were busy right now!"
I let go of Conor's shirt.
I looked at the guys and they were terrified.
"But why would he want to know if I'm busy or not??" I asked myself.
"Who are we talking about??" Spencer asked.
"Not now Spencer!" I said.
"You! Come with me!" I pointed at Conor.
I grabbed Dexters leash and walked him while Conor was beside me.
"Why am I with you again?" He asked
"Oh I just don't like walking in the dark by myself" I smiled nervously.
Dexter growled.
"Dexter,shhh" I shushed him.
He pulled the leash then it unhooked.
"Son of a bitch!" I yelled.
"The fourth fucking time! God damn it Dexter!"
"Calm down, you'll find him" Conor chuckled.
I crossed my arms.
We walked around the venue and didn't see him.
"How are you gonna find him the in dark??" Conor asked.
"He's white and fluffy, how are you not gonna miss him??" I asked.
We walked to each and everyone's bus.
"Oh god. I think I know where he is..." I said.
We walked to Vinny's bus then I knocked on the door and we both waited.
The door opened and it was the tall skinny dude from the other day.
"Hey" he smiled
"Come in"
We both walked in and I saw Dexter sitting on the guys lap.
I whistled a little then his ears perked up.
"Hey" the cute guy said.
"Hey" I smiled back.
"Thanks for the walk,I'll meet you at the bus..." I said while looking at Conor.
"No problem," he said then left closing the door behind him.
"I'm gonna go to sleep now." The tall skinny dude said.
He walked to his bunk and it was only me and the guy....Dexter too, can't forget about Dexter.
"So is this a habit of his or...?"
"Or what?" I asked.
"Or are you just using him for an excuse to see Vinny?" He asked.
"Are you kidding me?" I chuckled.
"I don't even know Vinny, I was just making friends" I smiled.
"Wanna sit?" He asked.
I checked the time on my phone and it was 10:30.
"Uhh...I-I don't know..erm..my brothers pretty impatient." I said then hooked on Dexters leash to his collar.
"Nice ink" he smiled while looking at my thigh.
"Thanks," I smiled.
"I really have to go...I'll see you around..." I said while opening the door.
My phone buzzed rapidly and it was Spencer of course.
"Yes?"
"I have good news! Well bad news for you but good for me but I don't know if it's actually good for me but it's terrible for you..."
"Just. Tell me."
"Mom and dad are coming to see me play tomorrow."
I froze.
"Hello...? Clover? You still there?"
"What the fuck do you mean mom and dad are coming?!" I raised my voice.
I covered my mouth then looked at Ricky who looked at me with gentle eyes.
"I thought I should tell you because your anxiety and all-" "I do not have anxiety! I just get really nervous around people,okay? And why the fuck do they want to see me??" I asked.
"They said that they missed you."
"They should've thought of that before they- I'll talk to you when I get to the bus, see you later"
"Bye"
"Bye"
I hung up my phone and my heart raced.
"Bye..." I said to the guy.
He waved then I closed the door behind me.
I hurried back to the bus because it's dark out and all you could see were the lights from the tour bus.
