The forest was beautiful
It was worthy all the admiration
The new boy was walking beside Melanie
They reached the deeper parts of the forest
The afternoon sun was mild
It sipped through the trees
It created a divine light
The divine light shone on the boy
Right on his eyes but he didn't really bother
They were brown
Brown as dark syrup
As dark as the syrup in Mommy's bottles
The boy started running
He ran towards a log
He jumped up and sat on it
His legs were swaying in the air
"You like climbing?" Melanie asked
He smiled and giggled
"I like climbing," he answered
Melanie smiled back
They both knew she couldn't climb up
Her dress would get ripped and dirty
Instead she stood down below him
It went silent
"What's your name?" he asked
"Crybaby"
"No"
He jumped down from the big log
"What's your name?"
She looked up at him
He was being serious
"Melanie"
Melanie sighed and looked down
"I like your name, Melanie. Sounds bittersweet."
"What's your name, then?"
"Tyler. My name is Tyler."
His name was beautiful
"Tyler," she said
It sounded more divine than the forest
