22.Blond Almost White

The next day, I was in lion form; but Stripes was turned back with a huge smile on his face. From looking at his tiger form, I would have never have guessed that this boy had the blondest hair. It was almost pure white. I wondered why he wasn't a white tiger instead, but no one knew. His eyes were a crystal blue, fit for gems. “Stripes, how do you feel?” Dr. Jason asked as he looked carefully over our friend to make sure everything had changed correctly.

“Great! Better than I have in four years!” he cried as he stood, but he quickly toppled over.

“Stripes, are you okay?” I asked as Dr. Jason helped him up.

“Yea, but I can't walk,” he cried as he sat on the bed again.

“You will be able to walk. Don't worry,” Dr. Jason laughed before he left.

John entered a few minutes later with a binder of paper, pens, and some food. “Here eat this, but use your hands,” John commanded as he handed Stripes a hamburger. Stripes quickly dug into the hamburger, while occasionally tossing me pieces of meat. This made John laugh as I caught the pieces still in the air. When Stripes was done eating, John asked, “What is your name and how old are you now?”

“Billy Marsh. I was seven, when I was captured and it has been four years since then; so I guess, I'm eleven now,” Stripes replied thinking hard. I also would have never guessed his name was Billy.

“What were your parents' names?” John inquired as he wrote down what Billy had answered.

“Judy and Bill Marsh. We used to live on Thornbug Road in the house numbered 57827,” Billy answered as he played with his fingers, wiggling them quickly.

“Okay. Now we get you walking and you can do school tomorrow,” John said as he helped Billy into some clothes other than the robe; then they left and I hurried to find Robi.
