Has it ever occurred to you
that our lives
revolve around a matrix of coded numbers and letters
It's not real
but ironically
everything from photos, videos, status updates,
check-ins, relationship updates, friend requests,
They all end up being saved
because if we never had it, then we'd forget

where is that event going to be at
Who's going to be there
Our brains have stopped storing the small details
that make a difference in a friendship
because we have things that can remind us all the time
Why
have we become so withdrawn
Why
are we not living anymore?
