"Then Minho said-" I was telling one of my favorite stories that involved my glader friends.
I was separated from all the boys and my boyfriend, Newt. Somehow WICKED forced me into the live of group B. I loved sharing stories with the girls. It made our situation less dreadful.
"Y/N!!" Someone was screaming my name in the distance.
I stopped talking. I was too numb to form words. My new friends stared at me and then behind me. I turned around and immediately started sprinting. My focus wasn't on what the girls were doing, it was purely on what was ahead.
"NEWT?!" I shouted.
"Y/N!!" He yelled.
It was him.
It felt like we were miles apart. We were both running at full speed and by the time I reached him I was full on crying.
I basically jumped on him and we hugged each other fiercely. My lips crashed into his before we could speak. He wiped away my tears.
"I missed you so much." Tears formed in his eyes and mine never stopped.
"Don't cry, otherwise I'll keep crying."
I hugged him again.
He didn't leave each other's arms and eventually all the other gladers caught up to us, engulfing me in a giant group hug.
"Minho!! Thomas!!"
"Y/n/n!" They yelled in unison.
"I can't believe those slintheads took you from us." Frypan messed up my hair and I laughed, not bothering to smooth it out.
All the reasons to frown evaded my brain. It felt like my facial expression would be forever frozen in that state of happiness.
I was back with my family.
