I'm Just A Friend

I remember the first time i saw you at school
Building up the nerve to talk to you
I hesitated, thinking you were too cool
Until one day, I saw it through

Do you remember when i told you were cute?
You called me a creep
I sat there looking like a fallen fruit
All crushed and lost all sense of sleep

Weeks passed, things happened
And suddenly we became closer than ever
Not together, just as friends
But that was all I was gonna be to you

Then I remember telling you how I felt
But you only saw me as a friend
Which left me crying and punching a wall
And that was the end

Now I am just laying here
Listening to sad songs
Wondering how happy you are there
Being with someone who is more than a friend

Anyways, leave a vote or a comment below about what you thought and some experiences you went through involving being friendzoned. Love ya😘
