A short time later, NO POV
Horror climbs into the treehouse as he is led inside by his daughter. As soon as E!Gaster left Reaper alone, Lovespoon went to get him inside as well by breaking him free. E!Gaster attacked the restrained god until his clothes were torn and weak enough to be hacked. Lovespoon drags him into the treehouse and Shino quickly starts healing him while Lovespoon tries to fix his clothes, adding her own designs to it.
Reaper slowly wakes up, glancing around curiously.
"Don't worry, Dad. Papa is coming."Shino tells him as Goth works to heal him.
BOOM!
"Sounds like G-Pa is here!"Lovespoon cheers
More distant blasting is heard and then the kids see Killer being chased by Dust, free from their cells as Nightmare follows behind them with the look of someone who lost the shits to give. Error marches out behind him with a frown.
"I wAnT tHeM rElEAsEd nOW!"He shouts in E!Gaster's face
His demand is obeyed as with a snap of E!Gaster's fingers, the barriers drop and Error glances up at the treehouse. Horror picks Shino and Lovespoon up, carrying them down the tree as Reaper is helped down by his sons holding his arms. Error checks each of them for wounds and sighs with relief that they're not hurt. Horror seems a little shaky but that's all that he can see. But then he sees how stiff Reaper is and knows something was done to him. Shino warned him but just looking at Reaper makes it obvious. His glitching intensifies as his anxiety spikes, thinking of his solution. Now he is actually going to do it? Oh dear...He needs to calm down so he doesn't crash.
He opens a portal for the gang to return home so Nightmare follows the two idiots through before Error shuts it, losing some anxiety now that fewer people are around.
"ReApEr?"He says
"Yes, Glitchy?"Reaper says, stepping closer.
For a moment Error admired his new cloak design before focusing again.
"Are you okay, Glitchy? You seem to be out of it."Reaper says
Error could see his hands tightly grip each other as his body stayed stiff.
"UmMm, i hAd iDeAs oF wHaT tO sAy BuT...mY mInD WeNt bLaNk. S0...I'Ll jUsT d0 iT aNd SeE iF yOu cAtCh On..."He says, kneeling down
Reaper quickly catches on as he reaches into a pocket. Reaper's eyes shrink as Error opens the box, revealing a beautiful ring to him. Both of their faces burn up.
"𝕨𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕙𝕖𝕔𝕜, 𝔼𝕣𝕣𝕠𝕣?"E!Gaster snaps as the kids start recording
Horror smiles, happy for them. Surely if Error is doing this, things must be better and he sees something in Reaper. So he hopes for the best already.
Error completely ignores E!Gaster, glancing up at Reaper.
"S-S0 uMm...wiLl y0u maRrY m3, r3a-?"
"Yes!"Reaper exclaims happily without hesitation.
Error reaches for his hand and Reaper gently sets his hand in Error's. Error slides the ring on his finger and everyone else sees the code forced into Reaper just wash away like a ghost forced out of a body it was trying to control. Error had coded the ring with a protective barrier that surrounds the wearer. Reaper blinks twice as if just waking up, then glances down to see Error smiling up at him.
"Y0u suRe y0u wAnT tHiS, rEaPeR?"
Reaper glances at their hands and his wings spring out, fluttering with excitement as his cloak bubbles with hearts and his face overheats. Clearly giving a more lively reaction than the stiff one before yet so in character for him.
"G-G-Glitchy? Are you-? Is this really-? Hold on a second!"Reaper says
Reaper snaps his fingers, summoning the 2nd ring box and surprising Error. He had no idea that Reaper had his own plans.
"Will you marry me too, Glitchy?"
"That makes no sense, Dad! You already said yes to-!"Raven says before Goth covers his mouth.
"YeS!"Error says after calming his glitching.
Reaper slides the ring on his finger and kisses his hand gently, making Error's face burn even more. Reaper hugs him close with a grin.
"H0w l0nG hAv3 y0u pLaNnEd tHiS?"He asks Reaper
"Well, that's hard to pin down but I put it into action while you were in Fate's realm. I planned to propose when you came back but things changed...Wait, were you going to make that deal to secure a future...to secure this?"
Error nods and Reaper's eyes twinkle, realizing just how much Error has put into this. He leans in to kiss Error but Error's head snaps to look at E!Gaster.
"NoW ThAt He'S oKaY, i Am gOinG tO KILL YOU! I t0lD yOu nOt To tRy aNy sHiT wItH tHeM aNd wHaT d0 y0u d0? I swEaR i wiLl-!"He snaps, starting to exit the hug
Reaper pulls him right back into it with a big smile.
"Must you go back to destruction, dear?"
"YeS! LeT mE kiLl hIm!"
"Hmmm....No."
"WhAT d0 y0u m3aN nO? He aBdUcTed aLl OF yOu aNd tRiEd dUmB sHiT!"
"Do we really need to involve him right now?"
"He HACKED y0u, ReApEr! LeT mE g0 kiLl hIm!"
"No."
"WhAt d0 y0u mEaN NO?"
"Come on, sweetheart. I don't want to remember him when looking back on this special moment. Besides, my father has done worse to me."
"ThEN I'Ll kiLl hiM!"
"Man, Glitchy, you're just in a murderous mood today aren't you?"
"LeT mE kiLl!"
"Not in front of the children, sweetheart. Calm down. Let's go home."
"We dOn'T HaVe a HoMe aNyMoRe! He dElEtEd iT wHiCh iS aNoThEr rEaS0n tHaT yOu sHoUlD lEt mE kiLl hIm!"
"You do realize that he is saving your soul, right? The god of death is sparing your life?"Horror says to E!Gaster
E!Gaster's jaw hangs open in shock.
"Which is very undeserved after what you did to him."Goth comments
"Nah, I don't think he even realizes he is sparing you. He just got proposed to so he's probably too busy simping to even consider you."Raven says
Reaper kisses Error to calm him down and grins.
"FiNe...I wOn'T kiLl hIm f0r nOw...OnLy bEcAuSe y0u ASkEd..."Error huffs, crossing his arms.
"I love you, Glitchy.~"Reaper says, turning him around and hugging him closer
"MhMmm...."
Error glances at his clothes and grins.
"YoU lOoK nIcE iN yOuR nEW cLoAk. It sUiTs yOu."
Reaper glances down, not even realizing the change.
"What happened to my cloak?"
"You're welcome!"Lovespoon says
Reaper smiles at her and Error relaxes, resting his head on Reaper's chest.
"𝕊𝕠 𝕨𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕀 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕖𝕔𝕥 𝕒 𝕨𝕖𝕕𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕚𝕟𝕧𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟? 𝔸𝕟𝕕 𝕕𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕟 𝕥𝕠 𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕡𝕥 𝕠𝕣 𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕪 𝕤𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕤? 𝕀𝕗 𝕤𝕠, 𝕨𝕙𝕠 𝕚𝕤 𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕪𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠𝕣 𝕨𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕡𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕧𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕥?"
Error's head snaps around to glare at him, gripping Reaper tighter.
"Do yOu WaNt mE tO kiLl yOU?"
"Don't push it."Reaper says
"Ya KnoW wHaT? KiDs, fEeL fReE t0 d0 aS yOu wIsH."
"YAY!"
"𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥?!"
Shino boxes him in and codes for a trap similar to what Shattered was kept in and Lovespoon traps him in thorny roots. Horror supervises the kids as they knock him around like a pinata.
"Glitchy, why did you unleash this?"Reaper asks
"YoU sAiD nOtHiNg aBoUt tHeM dEaLinG wItH hIm. We cAn jUsT sAy ThAt tHeY'Re cElEbRaTiNg."
"*Sigh* You're unbelievable sometimes."
"It'S OnLy fAiR sINCe YoU'rE jUsT aS uNbElieVaBlE. ANd yEt yOu lOvE mE.~"
"That I do."He says, kissing Error.
