A few days later, Error's POV
"She should be in the orchards picking apples with Farm. She will be excited to train with you again!"Horror told me
I shake my head as I march through the rows of trees without a sign of Farmer or Lovespoon. Their orchards have really expanded since my last visit so this will be harder than Horror made it sound. I chuckle a bit, marching through and recognizing her work to support saplings growing in some spots as pumpkins grow randomly with flowers.
I was distracted by the clues of her little trail that I didn't realize that I was being followed until two hands snatch my arms roughly and my glitching sparks up from the sudden foreign contact and starts to fill my vision. It gets worse as my arms get yanked backward, preventing me from getting my strings out and my feet drag across the ground as my glitching intensifies. The next thing I know is that I'm being forced into a chair with two hands still holding my arms down and instantly a pair of cuffs surround my hands, leaving them unable to even move a finger.
Uggh, what the hell? How did intruders get into the farm? I could've sworn that I was dragged through a portal...
"We want answers, Destroyer."
Ugh, note to self, enforce barriers to also keep those who kidnap for interrogations out...
I glance up, seeing a long row of gods and goddesses seated behind a long table. I recognize most of them as gods from Reaper's AU from Undyne to Muffet and Asgore. Only one missing was Gaster and Papyrus. Though some looked foreign. Life already is sighing and shaking her head at them.
"WhAt thE hElL aRe yOu doInG? WhAt iS tHiS sHiT? LeT g0 oF mE!"I snap at them
One of them snaps their fingers and a gag locks around my mouth, holding it shut.
"Silence your nonsense. We heard some strange things about you...well stranger than usual...The quicker this is settled, the better. But you're not going anywhere."
Then they each start listing various questions to me, one after another down the line. They each focus on my bond with Reaper and what it is. Since when did it happen? How long have I known him? What kind of relationship is it really? Why get with Death? How am I immune to his touch? Is this just a scheme for power and destruction? Is their AU in danger? How long have I lived with him? How did it come to this relationship? Why did I decide to ally with him and move in? Some clearly looked down on the pairing while others were overly curious like this is a rare spectacle that they must observe and report.
I roll my eyes as they give their dumb questions and keep me silenced.
"Ugh, this is ridiculous."Life says, walking over and removing the bag from my mouth
"LIFE!"Another god snaps
"Relax, it's just the gag. Though I won't hesitate to free his hands next if you continue this ridiculous circus. It's really none of our business what happens in their home and it's shameful how you approach him about this. How do you expect him to answer if he can't speak?"She says
"FiNaLLy, sOmEoNe sAid sOmEtHiNg inTeLlIgEnT."I say, shaking my head
I glance at each of them and chuckle.
"It tOoK yOu tHiS lOnG tO cATcH oN? MaN, yOu'rE aLl mUcH duMbEr tHaN yOu loOk. We'vE beEn tOgEtHer fOr mOnThS, i'Ve lived hErE fOr mOntHs aNd nONe oF yOu nOtiCed a DiFfEreNce? ReApEr dOesN't eXaCtlY hIdE tHinGs tHat wElL sO fOr yOu tO mISs tHe cLuEs wiTh hIs bUbbLinG cloak oF hEaRts, yOu'rE reAlLy duMb. I chose hIm cuz I cOuLd, yOu gOT a ProBlEm? Do I nEeD a sCheMe iN oRdEr tO lov3? Or aRe yOu rUde eNoUgh tO tHinK tHat tHErE's nOthIng tO gEnuIneLy l0ve abOuT ReApEr uNleSs iT's mAnipUlaTioN? TcH, hOw dIsgUsTinG. Of cOuRsE yOuR AU iS sAfE. I'd nEvEr deStrOy hIs hOmE...Even iF gAstEr d0eS gEt oN mY nErVes...A loT oF tHe aNswErS yOu sEek aRe ReAlLy nOnE oF yOuR bUsInESs."I explain
It's silent for a few minutes.
"Okay...Now about the kids...What about them? Are they a threat? I mean, they are descendants of Death and you have a granddaughter that can cause a wreckage apparently..."One asks
"Maybe we should just find out for ourselves..."A second suggests
"I sWeAr iF aNy oF yOu lAy a f1NgEr On tHoSe kiDs oR tRy aNy sH1t wiTh tHeM jUsT beCaUsE 0f y0ur sTuPiD fEaRs, I wiLl fUcKiNg kiLl eVeRy lAsT 0n3 oF y0u."I growl
A significant number of gods flee after hearing my threat and I chuckle.
Cowards.
"He is right, you shouldn't pull the innocent into this. Though that is an interesting display of fatherly instincts. You really love those kids, huh?"Life says with a grin
"AnD whAt thE hElL iS wRonG with tHat? GOt a pRobLeM wiTh fAtHeRlY? AnYoNe wiTh coMmOn sEnSe wOulD pRoTecT kiDs liKe miNe!"I snap, struggling to keep my glitching down so I don't crash.
"It's just not something I'd expect from a destroyer. Not something usually associated with destruction."She says
"ThAt'S kinD oF tHe p0inT. WoUlDn'T bE sAfE iF pRoTecTiVe aNd cArinG fOr kidS wAs eXpEcTed oF mE."I say, rolling my eyes
"And why not?"She asks
"HaVe yOu m3t hAlF oF tHe aSsHoLeS oUt tHeRe? AnY emOtioN I shOw iS sOmEthIng fOr oThErs tO uSe. TheY'd jUst tArGEt tHe kIdS."I say, rolling my eyes
"Well maybe hanging around Death doesn't help your chances."Another god says
"ExCuSe yOu?"I snap, glancing around for the voice's owner
"Just saying. Death and Destruction don't seem like a fitting pair to me. Not something that should go together."Undyne says
"I thInK wE go tOgEthEr qUiTe nIceLy. AnD tHaT's fUnNy cOmiNg fRoM yOu uNdYnE. ThAt's liKe sAyInG wAr dOeSn't mix wItH d3aTh. YoU anD I cOnNeCt tO hIm iN oUr tiTlEs quiTe nAtuRaLlY."I say
"Is that so? Well, let me speak to you about that..."Another god says, coming over.
Life smiles, nodding and my arms get freed from the hands gripping it. This goddess leads me away through a portal and I find us in what appears like a home filled with roses.
"WhaT sHiT iS tHiS nOw?"I ask
"I'm Romantica, Error. Sorry for that nonsense but Life and I were in the minority of the group with support for your relationship. The most that we managed was to get that idiot Gaster out of the meetings since all he would do was rant about nonsense. I've watched your relationship blossom. It's the one on the windowsill and it only seems to get stronger. Each petal being filled with memories of your love. You do fit together quite nicely."She explains, pointing to a rose on the windowsill
Oooh, goddess of love....Each rose is her way of tracking a pair or love story. Interesting...At least I have her support and she doesn't seem like an Aphrodite type of love god who keeps trying to ruin the love stories....
"But why do you keep him at a distance in your bond when it's so strong? You've been boyfriends for quite a while now and you're quite stable and close together, yet you also seem stuck in place. I mean you already act like the next step but just haven't made it official."She asks
I catch onto what she's asking. Why haven't we taken the next step and get married?

"Well, have you ever considered more? The next steps in the future? Shino would make a great big sister with the way she cares for your granddaughter."She asks
My face burns and I nervously chuckle.
"As iF wE'D EvEr bE aLlOwEd To gEt ThAt fAr wiThOuT sOmE cRaP."I chuckle
She smiles, plucking a petal off of the flower she pointed out and leading me to a fountain of water she has that honestly just looks like a birdbath fountain. She drops the petal in and makes a few ripples before the petal fades away and the water glows.
"Don't be too sure. There's definitely a chance for you both. Just look."She says as an image starts to form in the water
I gaze into the water, kind of surprised by this. I go silent, amazed at what it shows.
"I can advise you on how to get to this, Error. I hate homewreckers or troublemakers who ruin a good relationship, so I can help you."She says
I glance at her, amazed at the offer. She has me sit with her and we start talking as she serves some tea. This is certainly better than before. As soon as my body stops intensely glitching where I can't move my arms without it hurting, I will reach out to Horror about the situation so Lovespoon doesn't think I forgot about training.
