Side note: this chapter is related to 21 Jump Street season 4 episode 3: Eternal Flame when Tommy is working at a nightclub and he bumps into his ex and they reunited. Well in this story he's gonna hate he ever bumped into her .
The boys were now one year old and Kiyah was 5 getting ready to start kindergarten. The boys started walking and they were a handful. Tommy got assigned to a case working at a nightclub. He was starting tonight. Fuller suspected the owner of the nightclub was giving out free acid to everyone who came out to the club. Tommy would be hired as a door king /bouncer. His name would be Tom Hardigan. Lately Me and Tommy has been bumping heads. I don't know what it is. Every since he's be working at this club. He's been really moody and snappy. We had to push our wedding back due to unforseen circumstances maybe that's what it is . Gina had her baby and she was so beautiful. Her name was Layla so gorgeous. Me and Judy were having lunch one day.
"Girl idk what's wrong with Tommy like he's really moody and snappy we've been arguing scaring the kids and I'm really worrying about him".
"Do you think it's because the change of the wedding'?
"Could be. Idk every since he been on this case he's been moody".
"Maybe it's the long hours Jasmine"
"Maybe".
Something was definitely wrong. I felt it in my gut. This was not the same Tommy I met a year ago. Something was definitely off and I was going to find out what. I didn't want to loose him but I can't keep going on like this. Scaring my kids. They are 5 and 1. They are babies that don't deserve to be in the middle of heated arguments. I can't keep feeling like I'm doin something wrong when I know damn well I'm giving him the best that I've got.
Here's why Tommy is upset: one night at the club Tommy was in the back with Gavin putting away some cash. That's when he saw her. His ex Linda McHugh. Tommy's heart stopped. He dated her when he was 19 and they both wanted to get married but she ended up dumping him.
"Hardigan this is my wife Linda"
He felt sick.
"Nice to meet you"
"Same."
Tom thought to himself wife? So she married this asshole but why did he care? He had a fiancee and 3 children at home whom he loves very much. All of those old feelings came back. Tommy and Linda kept having little spirals at the club. He knew he should have told Jasmine and got off the case but he felt that no matter how he tried to explain it too her she would not see it that way. He thought he was strong enough to handle it. Big fuckin mistake!! He was talking to Doug at the station.
"Doug she was the one man".
" Who was the one"?
"Linda McHugh ".
Doug thought to himself what the hell
"Hanson are you listening to yourself are you forgetting about your fiancee and 3 kids"?
"No of course not I was just saying".
"Hanson get off this case before you fuck up again"
"No no I'll be alright"
Doug just looked at him. Tommy was wrong no he won't be alright because his dumb decision was about to bite him in his ass. Back at home we had another argument. Zack knocked something off the table accidentally and Tommy just sat there and didn't say anything.
"Tom get your son"
He just sat there thinking.
"Tommy what the hell hello!?"
He snapped out of it
"What "?
"Your son get him he's knocking things off the table "
"Well why didn't you get him"
Oh shit he thought wrong thing to say.
"Because stupid I'm in here trying cook them dinner and get their clothes ready for tomorrow you're just sitting there fuckin daydreaming like we don't have responsibilities running around here"
" Jasmine I know that okay " he shouted .
"Don't be yelling at me " what is your problem"?
"You are"! You always bitching and nagging"!! He got the boys and took them in their room and cut on the cartoons for them.
"Daddy will be back". He kissed them
Jasmine was sitting on the couch upset.
"How long is dinner gonna be I have to leave soon"?
That pissed her off.
"Excuse me "?
"You heard me"!!
"Tommy fix your own fuckin dinner"!!! Just like that we were arguing yet again. He left and slammed the door. I was crying hysterically. The kids came out and they were crying. I said that's it. I'm going to this fuckin club and confront him and whatever got him tripping on me . I called Judy and asked her if she could come watch the kids. She said sure. I fed the kids, and bathed them. I was getting ready. I put on a purple vice dress, silver heels, with silver accessories and she wore her hair down but left it curly. I was so upset but I was looking good. That baby weight was popping. Judy came over.
"Omg girl you look cute"
"Thanks Jude I'm so mad I could hurt tommy right now"
"Another argument "?
"Yes and I'm sick of it. I'm going to this club for myself. I wanna see what's going on"
"I don't blame you . Handle your business. I got yo back".
I left. On the way over there . I had so many thoughts. Maybe it's another woman. Maybe it's the club scene. What if he witnessed something horrible and is scared to say something? Well we about to find out .
After their fight Tommy and Linda went to a museum, and bowling. He thought it was platonic wrong. Linda had other ideas in mind. He made the mistake of not telling her about his family. Why would he do that? Was it to protect them? Or did he have other ulterior motives? They went back to the club. He was in the back looking at all the cash Gavin was saving. And Linda came in. He told her about the acid being passed around in these smiley face buttons. She asked him how he knew he told her. She slapped him in his face saying that he used her and he ended up kissing her. OMG!!
I was standing in line and got in with no problem. No big surprise. This club was jumping. People everywhere. Girls in cages dancing. I grabbed a drink and looked around. That's when I saw Tommy walking out of some room with a woman with red hair like Jessica Rabbit. I felt anger, rage, and sad. I walked over there . Tommy saw me he felt guilty.
" Well hello Tommy".
"Tommy who is this" Linda said
I got so angry. Very angry. Tommy looked at me.
" Who am I?"
"I'm his fiancee, the mother of his children" I showed her my ring.. she looked confused.
"Tommy I didn't know".
" Oh you didn't know?"
Tommy said " Baby please "?
" Oh no it's a little late for that shit"!!
"So where y'all just came from "?
Linda said" in the back "
I glared at Tommy.
"I'm sorry lady what is your name?"
"Linda. Linda McHugh nice to meet you "
" Charmed I'm sure"
" Excuse me Linda do you mind walking away now so I can speak to this asshole "
"Not at all sorry miss?"
I looked at her.
"Single. Ms Single ".
Tommy stared at me he knew what I meant so did she . She looked at him .
"Wow Hanson and too think we almost" she stopped.
I said " almost what*
She said " had sex I'm so sorry I didn't know he didn't tell me". She walked away.
Tommy was speechless. What could he say? He was totally in the wrong.
"Omfg really Tommy.". I walked out of there".
Tommy ran behind me
"Baby "
"Baby please ". I ignored him . Hopped in my car and drove home. I was crying so hard. I kept my cool untill I made it home. I walked in the house. Judy saw me
"Omg what happened"?
"Judy he cheated on me I caught him"
"Omg"!!
I packed a bag for my babies.
"Judy get my kids out of here now please"
"What about you?"
I screamed " Judy now please"!!
Judy left with the kids. I poured me a glass of wine. I was crying . Wait till he gets here it's on!!!
Tommy ran in. I looked at him.
"Hello Tommy I thought you would have stayed with Linda McBitch"!
" Baby please let me explain"
"Nawl, fuck that I heard enough"
I threw my ring at him. And went in the bedroom and packed my things. He walked in
"Where are u going"?
"Really Tommy you think I'm staying here after what I just heard, what I just saw? You're crazy"!
He tried grabbing my bag I snatched it
" You not leaving me Jasmine*
"Oh yeah who gone stop me you? Yeah try it"!!
"So you leaving me without letting me explain*?
"Explain? I threw our pictures across the room and broke them. "Explain what*? "How you been fuckin some club owner's wife*? " How you've been snapping at me, all moody, yelling scaring my babies." How you've been making me feel like I'm doing something wrong when clearly it was you"? How you didn't even tell her about us"? I don't need you to explain shit I've already got a pretty clear picture about what's going on here".
I kept packing. He was crying.
"Baby on my dad's memory I've never slept with Linda "
"Nawl, but you wanted to , hell according to her you almost did, and not one time did you deny it"!!
"Jasmine please*
"No I'm good we're done*
That made him mad.
"No we're not*!!! He shouted
"You dreaming if you think we aren't*!!
"Baby all I need is 5 minutes to explain. All I did was kiss her then we stopped. Please let explain"
"All you did was kiss her? You're not supposed to kiss anybody but me not in that way. But it doesn't matter"
"5 minutes please jasmine*
"Fuck you're 5 minutes you had you're 5 minutes back at the club when you should have been explaining then but all you did was look dumb".
Jasmine was right. Tommy felt guilty. He knew he should have explained then but he couldn't get the words out. He was in the wrong nothing he said would have fixed this. I headed for the door. Tom blocked me
"Please wait"
"Hanson move*
"No just wait please ".
" Jasmine wait please. Please don't leave me. I can't loose you or my babies "
I slapped him hard.
"How dare you say that shit too me. You wasn't thinking about that when you was at that club were you?" Now get outta my way before I move you out my way".
Tommy stared at her crying, but he moved.
"And dont bother calling me or following me around. FUCK YOU"!!
she left. Tommy broke down and punched the wall. Putting a hole in it. "damn what did I do"!!!
"
