Error's POV
Once the shift is done, five hours later, I leave to find Reaper at the door waiting patiently. He smiles widely, taking my hand and kissing it gently.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Handsome.~"He says with a wink
I feel my face burn but wait a few minutes to feel pain strike my neck. I sigh with relief when nothing happens, guessing that the name trick worked for now. But that doesn't mean that Reaper is completely safe. I summon a spear to my hand and he frowns.
"Did I say something wrong, dear?"He asks
I hold his hand gently, shaking my head and leading him away.
"Let's go. I'm checking everything you take by the way."I say
"Really? We're already going to be sharing smoothies?"He says
"It's for your safety."I say, seeing more coworkers follow behind us.
I hear the tune of the coworkers humming "Hold Him Down", then see the arrested group leave the police station. Probably made bail or something. I frown, quickly pulling Reaper away.
"Oh! Are they your coworkers? They seem nice."He says
"Don't go near them."I say
We go to get food and I check it cautiously to be sure that it's safe before he eats. I notice him staring at me with a big smile as I do so, his cloak bubbling with heart. After we ate, I heard the tune as we were walking down the sidewalk. Then I pull Reaper into an alley as the crowd runs past.
"What was that?"He asks
"You don't wanna know."I say
"So, Nolan..if that's your name..How would you feel about coming home with me?"He says, leaning close with a grin.
"I dunno if I can..."I say, feeling my face burn
"Why not? Not having enough fun?"He asks
"I know who you really are. And my soul isn't exactly free. That profile may have fooled things but it won't last long. The moment I get near home again, I'll be in trouble...I'm sure you know who."I tell him
"But I made a promise to our little girl that I'll bring you home."He says
"That may be harder said than done. I can't even say my real name or any of yours and our family's without getting punished in one shape or form."I say
He leans in closer, holding my hands as he smiles wider.
"Perhaps it's time that I claim that soul for myself then.~"He says
My face burns up with his biggest grin as he waits for answers.
"Y-You're serious?"I say, stepping back.
His hand wraps around my waist as he presses me against the wall gently.
He really thinks that could work? Would it work?
Reaper nods.
"It's worth a try."He says
"How would you even claim it?"I ask
He grins, feeling my cheek gently.
"I did some research and have been imagining the chance to do it to you for weeks.~"He says
Reaper...excited to do something with my soul..."Researched it"....Imagined it....
"I don't know if I should take that as a good thing or not."I say
"Don't worry dear, I'll handle it for you."He coos
I nod, and he grins as he summons my soul. He gently cups it and I jolt, feeling all my fur stand on end.
"Re-"I begin but stop myself
"Don't worry, I'll make it quick.~ Unless you want more afterward."He says teasingly
My legs feel weak with each touch on my soul and slip down against the wall, feeling how gentle he is trying to be.
"Does it hurt?"He asks
I shake my head and he grins.
"Good. It's going to be better soon."He says
Then he leans in toward my soul where it is surrounded by a deep purple glow still since I was recently punished...I watch as he gently kisses right on the shard with a grin. He does it four more times, sending shivers down my body as I try not to react in ways that would tip off Gaster or anyone to what's happening. I see the purple glow turn black and faint.
"Soul selected. Confirm?"
"This soul is mine to love."He says
"Soul confirmed. Awaiting confirmation from soul...Oh...complete. Correcting claimed soul."
I watch as the illusion of the rest of my soul fades, leaving only my shard gently cupped in his hands. I sigh with relief and he scoops me up in his arms.
"I'm so glad that I wasn't a glitch or I would've crashed when you did that..."I say
"Did you like it?"He asks
I glance away. It did feel good for my soul...I missed him and his touch...His voice...
"It....took a lot out of me..."I say, honestly feeling a bit drained from how my soul raced and reacted to him.
"That isn't a no.~"He coos
"Yeah, letting you touch my soul for the first time in an alley was very nice."I say
He glances around and frowns, noticing the rough walls and ground.
"Right...It's not the best spot but you're free now, right? I'll be sure to set it up better next time.~"He says with a grin
He leans in closer.
"Cuz I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I won't stop loving your soul.~ And I look forward to when you feel comfortable enough to do it to me.~"He says
"I missed you...Reaper..."I say, leaning against him
Then I hear the humming get louder again with the same tune as he hugs me close. I summon a spear to my hand and swing it over his shoulder, hearing a voice screech in fear. I glance over his shoulder, seeing a coworker back up in shock.
"Scram."I growl with a glare
The idiot runs away, looking terrified and I grin, looking up at Reaper who looks so confused.
"Did I miss something? Are you okay? I have so many questions...I was so worried and..."He says but I put a finger over his mouth.
"Don't worry about that, Reaper. Let's go home. You made a promise, remember? I'll explain things...I promise...Just never let those people near you, even if it's for your lists..."I tell him
He nods, pulling me into a kiss.
I hold onto him firmly as his wings curl around me to block everything out. He cups my cheek with a hand gently, holding me in the kiss as I enjoy every second.
"I missed you...Even if it was done in silence..."I say
"I missed you, too. Also, our daughter is probably murdering Gaster for taking you away, Glitchy. Oh! And I got a video to show you."He says, kissing my cheek
"Why am I not surprised? Have the boys been okay?"I ask
He nods, smiling wider as he opens a portal, carrying me through it. I feel my eyes grow heavier from exhaustion and sigh with relief.
"That's...good....Good to be....home...."I say, dozing off in his arms
That dumb tune won't leave my head though.
