Haldi function
Today is IshArth's Haldi function in the morning and their most awaited wedding at night.
It was 8 a.m. and everyone was dressed up for the Haldi ritual.
Ishika wore a delicate off-white lehenga with a beautiful yellow dupatta. While Sidd wore a yellow kurta and jacket with off-white bottoms. Both of them were looking perfect together.
Turn by turn everyone applied Haldi paste on both the bride and the groom. All the elders were done with the ritual while youngsters were missing from the scene.
Before Sidd could ask about his missing friends, both Ishika and him were drenched in yellow-coloured water.
Radhika and Karthik poured a bucket full of haldi water on Ishika, colouring her entire lehenga while Rudra and Anber did the same to Sidd.
"You guys are insane. Tumhare bhi time aayega, I'll teach you a lesson then." Sidd warned the 4 of them, making everyone burst out in laughter.
The function was arranged in the garden. And everyone pulled the bride and groom and started dancing.
"Not fair" Sidd said while dancing close to Ishika.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Everyone put haldi on you except me. Come here." he said and pulled ishika's hand and brought here behind the decorations so they are hidden from their family's eyes.
"Sidd kya kar rahe hai? Kisi me dekh liya to bahut embarrassing hoga."
"Ab justice kare bina kese jaane du tumko," he said and moved way too close to her. He rubbed his cheek to hers. Colouring her in different colours of red and yellow. He then slowly coloured her other cheek as well. Ishika was stunned at their intimacy. Her heart was pounding loudly.
Sidd then lightly pecked her on the corner of her lips and then moved his lips to her ears. He whispered in his slow husky voice, "Can't wait to call you mine." then he left from there leaving her all blushing and shivering.
When he was gone she felt the loss of his touch. These feelings were new to her yet she was missing his touch. She was craving for the warmth she felt in his arms.
"what are you doing to me, Mr. Rathore" she thought to herself and went away from there to join their families.
While Sidd's thoughts
I only wanted to tease Ishu a little and watch her turn all red but I couldn't control myself and I guess I went a bit too far. I hope I didn't scare her. I am willing to go at her pace but seeing her looking so beautiful and all coloured in haldi of my name, I couldn't resist the temptation to get closer to her. I wanted to tightly held her in my arms and never let go.
"what are you doing to me, Ishq? You'll be the death of mine."
