I really liked the title. It was short and sweet and attracted me to your story as soon as I read it. When we talk about Bengal, the first thing that comes to mind is 'mishti doi' (Yes, I thought of it(⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) ), so it made me even more eager to read the story.
Cover: 5/5
The cover was a five for me! I loved the colour scheme and the font which you used for the title. I also loved the epigraph very much
"You are my mishti because my eyes find you sweet" I find this sentence absolutely adorable.
You also added all the necessary information on the cover such as your name. So, overall the cover is perfect.
Blurb: 9/10
The blurb too is great. You have added all the necessary things without giving away the main plot which is awesome since I read many blurbs which are either absolutely boring or they give away the plot completely. However, I want to suggest that maybe you should keep the paragraph where you introduce Yamunapanth before the paragraph in which you tell the readers about its enmity with Devanagari as it will make much more sense.
Opening Chapter: 9/10
The opening chapter was very well written. It had me hooked from the first few paragraphs and I found it very beautiful, the way you wrote the feelings of Mishti as she left her granny was very sentimental as I too have felt those so I could connect with her and this made me even more engaged in the story.
Flow/Plot: 10/10
I had no problem with the flow of the story or even the plot. The story is very well-paced. It keeps the readers interested and explains everything without making them confused.
Writing Style: 8.5/10
I adore your writing style, you have a beautiful way of describing scenes and you do it very descriptively. Writing style is not just about the sentences of the story but also how you frame it and I love how you started the epigraph, synopsis and then the character aesthetics (I loved the character aesthetics they were cute<33) I am a big fan of the Bengali culture even though I don't know much about it and seeing that you have used many Bengali references made me so excited to read more and more. I just love the representation of my country's culture so pardon me for fangirling. Your grammar is decent and the dialogues are very good too and I just love how few scenes give me old Bollywood vibes hehe.
