Dilemma

While Yoona was busy sowing thoughts of negativity in Akira's brain Jaison stood infront of the mirror in the restroom. He cleaned the stain from the coat but what do you expect if you pour wine on your clothes. The red colour had stained his coat.

He sighed as he decided to remove it and just have his pure white shirt on. He still looked breathtaking in just that shirt and sea blue tie. He kept the coat on the sink and folded his sleeves up to his elbow.
Better.

He was about to pick up the coat when the door to the restroom opened and came in the person he least expected.
Mr. Kim Hyunjin.

He did not hide the distaste he felt towards the man. He rolled his eyes and tried to leave without a word. But the man was here with a purpose too.

"Its good to see you, son." Mr.Kim smiled.

Jaison looked at him like he had grown horns on his head.
"Are you talking to me?" He looked behind himself, trying to find someone.

"I have only one son." Mr.Kim shook his head at Jaison's mock.

"Its hard to believe. The things you used to or maybe still do. I may have a sibling somewhere across the world. Who knows?" Jaison shrugged his shoulders.

"Mind your tongue Jaison!" He hissed.
"Have some respect for your father."

"And I would gladly remind you that I have zero respect for you. The only thing that is keeping this relation intact is my mother otherwise I would have left a long time ago." He inserted his hands into his pant pockets.
"Now will you excuse me?" He tried to walk past the man.

"How could anyone expect me to be loyal to that marriage of convenience? Your mother was a stranger to me. A person who suddenly popped out of nowhere and I was expected to take care of her like I knew her for years. It would not have been genuine."

"So you decided to not care at all?" Jaison's head snapped towards the man. His justification was so baseless." Don't you dare try to justify yourself. Do you understand that?" He gritted his teeth.

"You cannot talk to me in that tone. I am your father!"

"MY FATHER DIED!" he shouted making the elder flinch.
"My father died the moment he made my mother cry!! I have just one parent and that is my mother!"

Mr.Kim couldn't believe it. Even though he never really payed much attention to his son but deep down the only person he genuinely cared for was him. No one else. He was his own blood afterall. But at the moment, seeing the bitterness and unshakable resolve in Jaison's eyes made him realise it was too late. The little child that once looked up to him was now the person who hated him the most. The distance between them had stretched too far for him to travel and bring his son back.
But he couldn't pity himself now. He had come too far ahead in life. These bonds and relations don't matter if you have power and he could see a path infront of him that could give him all that. He just had to ignite a spark tonight and his job would be done.

"Forget about me. Tell me about you." Mr.Kim stepped forward silently announcing that Jaison's big and dominating frame did not scare him a bit.

"My marriage was arranged yours is just a contract." He scoffed." You are way worse then me."

"Don't compare me to yourself." He spoke lowly. He could snap any moment now.

"Huh? You got married to save your company. Have you ever thought-" he leaned forward not breaking the eye contact." - what was her reason to marry you?"

Jaison's nostrils flared at the amount of rage he felt.

"What could her reason be? Want me to tell you?" Mr.Kim tilted his head.
" Money."

"Don't you dare talk ill about My Wife." He clenched his fists. If it was someone else, that person would already be on the ground by now.

Jaison had never acted violently in his entire life. He couldn't even hurt a mosquito. He didn't even behave this aggressively when it concerned her. He remembered the time when a few collage boys tried to flirt with her. Instead of being an insecure boyfriend he just let her handle the situation as she put them down. But now if he tried to picture someone flirting with Akira he wasn't sure that he would be able to keep his hands to himself. The itch to bruise that person's face was alarmingly strong.

"Or what? She is with you just for money and luxuries. She doesn't love you she loves your money."

"Shut. Up. Before I do something." He shut his eyes tight as he tried to calm himself.

"She isn't someone special. Your mother picked her up from the street-"

It snapped.

Mr.Kim wasn't able to comprehend the situation when his body was jerked forward. Jaison fisted his collar so tight that the buttons were at the verge of breaking.
Not the gentleman anymore.

"Worship your wife cause the reason I'm not breaking your jaw is that she took a promise from me." He spoke dangerously low, his eyes red with a murderous glint in them.
Mr.Kim was shaken to the core to see him react like that. What has gotten into him? He is acting like a mad man.
But he still went on. Something about the fact that he was his father made him believe that Jaison wouldn't hit him.

"L-like it or not Jaison it could have b-been anyone. Your i- mother could have chosen anyone. She just happened to be there."

It was Jaison's turn to scoff.

"Thats the difference, dad. Thats the difference between you and my mother. Even if she was oblivious to Akira's existence for those two months, even if my situation didn't require me to get married she still would have chosen her." He looked into his father's eyes back and forth." At some point of time she would have caught her eye cause she is like that. A diamond in the rough. My mother didn't choose her cause she was a perfect fit for the situation but because she was a perfect fit for ME." He clenched his coat harder and jerked him forward.
"Kim Jia is not like you. She doesn't find benefit in everything she finds peace, she finds good. And she couldn't find anyone better."

He was bewitched!! Insanely.

The clarity of thought had no room for doubt. He didn't care for her reasons. He didn't care even if she married him for money. All he cared about was that she was with him making his life better day by day, the air around him wasn't suffocating anymore it had a new fragrance to it that made him want to inhale more, his life wasn't on autopilot anymore he looked forward to every single day, life didn't feel like a compulsion anymore it felt like he wanted to live, he made the time to look at the sunset but the view of his wife sleeping on his chest was more breathtaking. The thought of the two most insanely beautiful things to exist in the same frame gave him goosebumps. He wanted to watch the sunset with her.

He had found his home.

Mr.Kim could feel his plan failing. Kim Yoona had directed him about what to say to him inorder to make him doubt his wife's intentions. She wanted the pleasure of doing the job herself but she didn't want to appear like a bad person in Jaison's eyes. She had gained his trust after so many efforts.

                               ...............

"Where's Jaison?" Jae hi asked as he stepped closer to her." How could he leave such a pretty lady alone?" He pouted.

"He will be here any moment. The stain must be giving him a hard time." She chuckled awkwardly.

"Or maybe he forgot." Jae hi tilted his head." Forgot that he was here with you."

Akira blinked.
Did he? Its been a while. Whats taking him so long?

"Don't worry I'll keep you company till he arrives." Jae hi picked up a fresh glass of wine as a waiter walked past them.
He gestured the drink to Akira. She nodded her head in disapproval.

"I don't drink."

"You don't? Surprising. Everyone here has an addiction." He looked around at the people with judging eyes.

"Whats yours?" Akira asked, intrigued.

"Mine? Hmm. Alcohol and....sex." He smirked when Akira's eyes almost bulged out of her eyes at his bluntness.

"O-oh." She looked down at her hands.

Jae hi keenly observed her features. The red hue on her cheeks looked so inviting. She looked more pretty when embarrassed.
He stepped forward and swiftly tucked the hair strand that was blocking his view behind her ear. She stepped back in surprise at the sudden closeness.

Before Jae hi could speak further a strong pull on his arm ripped him away from the girl.

"Was he making you uncomfortable in any way?" Mujin said, strongly staring at the woman, not a speck of goofiness on his face.

"No. Not at all." She said lifting her hands up and waving disapprovingly.

"Come on little brother, have some faith in me." Jae hi chuckled when Mujin turned to glare at him. His doe eyes were sharper than a dagger. His grip on Jae hi's arm tightened.

"Say that to someone who doesn't know you." He whispered so that Akira couldn't hear him.

"You should go out in the hall, Buttercup. Jaison must be looking for you." Mujin turned to smile at the woman. Jae hi scoffed at the quick change in his voice.
Then you call ME an actor. Look at you.

As Akira walked away from them he saw the way his younger brother stared at her disappearing figure, with hearts in his eyes.
Looks like I found something interesting tonight.

The moment Mujin was sure that Akira was a safe distance away from them he turned to glare at his elder brother again.

"How many times do I have to tell you stay the fuck away from her?" He jerked his arm.

Jae hi scoffed as he harshly retrieved his arm from his brother's grip.

"This was the second time I met her, dude. Chill out." He tried to iron the creases and lines formed on his coat not paying much attention to Mujin.

"I don't care how many times. Just stay away from her. Can't you get that thing in that pea brain of yours?" Mujin gritted his teeth.

The word 'pea brain' triggered Jae hi. It was the biggest insult for him. The reality tormented him that he could never be as good as his brother. No matter how hard he tried Mujin will always be the favourite child.

"Don't fucking cross the line." Jae hi finally let go of his chilled out cover.

"Oh yeah? Or what?" Mujin challenged, provokingly lifting his eyebrows.

"Why are YOU getting so worked up about this? I have never seen you being so protective over someone." He suddenly gasped." Don't tell me. Are you in love with her or something?"
