D: " Jake Jake Jake are you okay oh my goodness I missed you so much oh my goodness oh goodness gracious- "
J: " I'm not gonna say I'm okay, but are you okay? I've never seen you look so pale and freaked out. "
M: " She was chillin in your room the whole time. "
J: " Huh-? "
M: " Yeah she was in there for 2 weeks and she never left. "
D: " Milo! You don't tell him this kind of stuff! "
J: " Wait, what actually happened? "
...
D: " I missed you.. and I camped out in your room in denial for 2 weeks. When I heard that you've been found, I was ecstatic. But my mental health wasn't the best, same with my sanity. It's kind of complicated to explain what happened.. "
Jake's Mom and Milo shrugged it off, as they most likely didn't know what happened.
Jake put his hand up to his head and ran his fingers through his hair. He was stressed. He tightly gripped onto his hospital blanket with his other hand.
D: " Jakey.. what's wrong? "
J: " Nothing much... I guess. I'm in pain, and I'm tired. That's all. "
He gave the three a gentle smile. Jake's Mom's eyes widened. As if she felt the pain her son was currently going through, so much being emotional, and so much being physical. It hurt her heart very much to see her little boy like this. Daisy put her hand on her heart and crouched down next to the peach boy.
D: " Do we need to get a doctor? "
J: " I guess so. I don't know. Your choice. "
The white haired girl nods. She turns to her friend's Mother and nodded to her as well, signaling to get a doctor that could help them with this. His Mother left the room in a bit of a hurry.
- A few hours later -
Jake's Mother took Daisy and Milo out of the boys room, she looked quite hurt and in disbelief. Jake himself could see everyone he cared about outside of his room, but only for a split second, as they quickly left the room.

Hailey entered the room after a few minutes. She was crying. Her eyes were leaking water, a lot more than leaking. She hugged her friend. Jake hugged her back, he seemed to be understanding of what was happening. But at the same time, he didn't want to get the wrong idea, so he asked his teal haired girl friend.
J: " What's going on..? "
H: " I-I.. Well.. we were just talking to the doctor, and he said your body isn't physically able to recover or get through this.. After everything you've been through. You know, the major frostbite from all of the snow outside, the lack of food, the car crash... We were informed to say our last goodbyes.. I'm so sorry Jake.. This is all my fault. But, this isn't about me.. this is about you.. "
J: " Hailey.. I'm sorry too.. I want you to know that it isn't your fault, it's no one's fault. "
Hailey starts flooding more tears.
H: " Thank you Jake.. I-I.. I love you. I just wanted to say goodbye.. I needed to say goodbye.. I love you so much.. I'm so f_cking sorry.. "
J: " I love you too.. Hailey. And.. Thank you too, you've done more than you know. You can get through this, I believe you can do anything you put your mind into... "

H: " Goodbye, Jake.. "
J: " Goodbye princess. "

Hailey gave a smile to Jake, as Jake gave her one back. Her smile was quite sympathetic and gentle. She then turned around and exited the room as Milly ran right through and hugged Jake immediately.
M: " Jake I'm sorry I'm so sorry for slapping you you didn't deserve it I'm so sorry! "
J: " Milly it's okay! I'm sorry too, I hurt your feelings. And whatever you decide to do in life, I won't be disappointed. You go playing your guitar and do big stuff ok? "
M: " Mhm... I'm still sorry!!! I'm sorry! I love you Jakey I do! "
J: " I know, I love you too. Goodbye Milly. "
M: " Goodbye Jakey... say Hi to my hamster for me. "
Milly exited the room, wiping her tears, but clearly that wasn't stopping the flowing. Jake chuckled a little bit and nodded. He was also starting to cry big time.
Luke entered the room next. He crouched next to his friend.
L: " Hey Jake.. How are you feeling? "
J: " Not very well, but it'll all be gone soon... "
...
J: " So.. I'm sorry, I caused your boyfriend to get into a coma, I caused pain both emotionally and physically for him. And I'm sorry for what I did to you too. I really do care about you guys. "
L: " I know Jake. We're all in shock, and I didn't think this would be happening so I never thought about what to say to you. I guess the main point is that I forgive you.. We all do. We all forgive you, and we all love you. "
J: " I love you all too.. And it would be wrong for me to say I don't forgive you. So I forgive you too. I love you, Luke. I love you so much. I just wish we had more time to hangout.. but it is what it is I suppose.. Goodbye Luke. "
Luke sighs and gives Jake a soft smile.
L: " Goodbye Jake. "
The auburn haired boy made his way out of the room. And next, an unexpected face entered the room.
J: " D-Drew? "
D: " Jake... I heard about this whole situation with you and Zoey.. I-I wanted to say Goodbye before it was too late. "
Jake's face grows a big smile on it. He opens up his arms for Drew. Drew took this chance and he instantly went in for a hug with Jake. He started crying really hard. He cried into Jake's shoulder.
D: " I-I'm so f_cking sorry for everything.. we made fun of your friends. "
J: " Drew, it's okay.. It just matters that you don't do it in the future. You were a good person and you didn't know about the recording at the start. I'm sorry myself Drew, okay? I was a bad friend- "
D: " No, you were the best friend, I'm the one to be sorry, okay? "

J: " Thank you Drew.. I love you! "
D: " I love you too, Jake.. So much. "
He stepped back from Jake and quietly left the room. He saw 2 more people enter the room, Henry and Liam.
H: " Jakey. Heya Jakey.. "
J: " Hey Henry. Hello Liam. "
L: " Hi Jake.. "
Liam walked over to Jake and put his hand on his shoulder.
L: " I'm so sorry I didn't part in anything in this situation.. or.. we. "
He gestures to him and Henry as the lettuce head walks over next to Liam.
L: " We're sorry for not supporting you through everything that just happened. It was an honest mistake. We knew you went missing, quite obviously.. We knew you were found. We were just... I don't know.. scared.. to come over just to be rejected from seeing or talking to you? "
J: " I understand.. completely. I forgive you for it, I would've called.. but.. I don't know where my phone is. "
H: " I think they found it.. "
J: " I was also terrified you guys would hang up the phone too.. "
L: " We're sorry for everything else too. "
H: " Yeah, we are. Like being part in setting you up to say those things. "
J: " No no no. That was all Zoey, you may have had a part in it, but it was all Zoey. "
H+L: " Thanks Homie. " (help)
J: " I love you guys, and you have bright futures ahead of you. "
L: " Well maybe I do, Henry.. I'm not so sure. "
H: " Heyyyyy! "
They all let out soft chuckles, attempting to light up the mood with their jokes.
H: " Thank you Jake though, I love you.. "
L: " Yeah, same.. I love you, Jake. "
J: " I love you guys too.. And do whatever your heart desires.. I think you guys will do great in this life of yours. "
L: " Goodbye Jake, I hope you find the right peace. "
H: " Yeah, Goodbye Jakey. We'll see you in the future! "
J: " Goodbye you two, Henry and Liam. Goodbye.. "
The 3 hugged for a minute and the 2 best friends left the room. Leaving Jake alone for a few minutes. He relaxed himself in a nice comfortable position.

He waited for about 5 minutes before he heard a soft knock on his door. The next thing he expected was Sean or His Mother or something. But it was Lia. And he was happy about that.
L: " Hello Jake. "
J: " Hey Lia.. "
Lia gave Jake a hug, just like the rest of everyone else. She gave him a soft smile as she gently placed her hand on his shoulder as Liam did just a few minutes before.
L: " You know, I wasn't the best of friends. I flirted too much, I sent the audio and got you into this whole situation. But I love you too. Despite all the horrible things I've done. I missed you so badly through the week and a half you were missing, and the week you didn't wake up. I was only just informed that you woke up a few hours ago, and then I got hit with the news. The news that I had to come and say Goodbye before it was too late. And so that's what I'm doing, okay? I'm saying Goodbye. Because I love you, and that's what friends do. "
J: " Wow.. I... Lia I love you too, okay? And you've definitely improved as a friend so much! That's what we all need you to do. And yeah, these are my last hours here.. but saying Goodbye is only right, and I appreciate you came to say Goodbye. Now, I believe you can do anything you want, and I will make sure you get what you want in life. I will make sure that you get your dream job. I love you. I love you too. Maybe not romantically, but I do love you. "
He kissed her hand very gently. (Help)
J: " And, you deserved that. So, I love you ok? "
L: " Mhm mhm! I love you too so very much! Goodbye, Jake.. "
J: " Goodbye Lia. Make good decisions out there. "
L: " I will, Thank you. "
Lia silently left too, closing the door a crack on the way. Jake could still see a glimpse of his friends out there. He saw another person step up. They stood at the door for a few seconds, as if they were hesitating. They eventually entered the room. Daisy. Daisy was standing there. She was crying. She was crying pretty hard. Tears were flooding down her face.
" H-..hello Jake... " Daisy says, her voice full of sorrow.
J: " Hey Dais.. How are you..? "
Daisy instantly ran in to hug Jake. A pretty tight hug, and she was crying pretty hard.
D: " I-I-I... I don't want you to go! I don't I don't! I can't live without you! "
Jake realized what this meant. If Daisy spent the time he was missing in his room, how long will she stay in it when he is gone? He looked at his first friend and gave her a soft, gentle smile.
J: " You can! I'll be there for every decision you make, for every celebration, I'll be clapping along. For every tear I will be there to comfort you in spirit. Okay? Okay, Daisy? "
She was looking at him in the eyes. Her vision was filled with tears as she never thought this moment would be happening. She looked down at the floor and sobbed. Now, Daisy didn't want anyone to see her cry, let alone Jake. She felt two hands grab her own. She looked back at Jake.
J: " Okay? Are you listening? "
The white headed girl nodded. Jake smiled at her again.
J: " That Jacket you're wearing.. "
D: " I-It's your s-smaller one.. I-I'm sorry.. "
J: " Don't be sorry, Dais. I'm giving it to you! You can have it! "
The peach boy looked to his left where he saw his current Jacket on a chair. He looked back right at Daisy.
J: " Keep it. It's for you, it was always going to be for you. "
D: " A-Are you sure? "
J: " Yeah.. I'm sure! I won't need it where I'm headed. "
Daisy gave him a smile before hugging him again. It lasted a few minutes before she looked into his tired, brown eyes.
D: " You've done so much for so many people.. And you are loved by many. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I love you. "
J: " Thank you Daisy.. It'll be over soon, okay? I won't be in pain soon. And.. I love you too.. so much.. "
D: " Mhmm, see you, Jake.. "
She looked at Jake with her tear-filled eyes for a couple more seconds before walking away and stopping at the door. She hesitates to open it but she does. And she exits the room, while holding it open slightly while 2 of Jake's family members enter the room. The only 2 he has. His Mother, and his brother.
(A/N: But just for the sake of the story and not causing any boredom, it will be explained because if you're bored then I'm doing a bad job :D)
[So basically they cried and hugged a lot. Jake's Mom didn't want her little boy to leave the world, but she knew she had to let him go. It was the hardest thing she's ever had to do in her life, and let her 16 year old son go to the afterlife before herself.
Milo cried more than expected and he also gave a lot of hugs. Before Milo left, Jake grabbed Milo's hand, and put his necklace into it. He wanted to be remembered by his brother, and this will most certainly be a memory he would never forget.
The 2 left after a few long minutes. It was very hard to, but it was the best thing to do as there was 1 more person Jake needed to say Goodbye to] (They will be back in a few)
(A/N: Omg this next part is super duper cringe, yes I said duper that's also cringe :3)
Jake was left alone for a few minutes, a few short minutes. He knew he wasn't ready for what was about to happen, after he spoke to the last person. But he knew he needed to be strong for his family and friends. He heard the door silently open and close. He looked up and saw Sean. He smiled, and slowly raised his arms out. Sean wheeled over in his wheelchair and hugged his best friend so tightly yet so gently.
J: " S-Sean.. I-I'm- "
(HELP THIS PART IS SO CRINGE BUT I KNOW I NEED IT IN HERE)
The black haired teen didn't wait for his friend to finish. He didn't know what he was going to say, but he knew he needed to do this.
He kissed Jake very quickly. Both him and Jake were surprised at the fact, as he didn't know he'd do it either. It was a surprise for both of the boys.
S: " Sorry... I just had to do that at least once before.. before you left. "
J: " Sean... you feel the same..? "
Sean's eyes widened. Jake feels this way too? He nodded his head.
S: " Y-Yeah.. for a while now.. "
J: " I was actually gonna give you this.. "
He reached over to the chair on his left side, and grabbed his Jacket. He slowly and silently handed it to Sean on his right side.
(remember he has 2)
J: " I was going to give you my Jacket. You may need to wash it.. that thing's been through so much. " Jake chuckles and looks at the cast on his foot.
J: " I don't need it anymore, and what better person to give it to than you? "
S: " Jake... thank you.. " He hugs the Jacket.
He looks up at Sean and smiles.
J: " No need to say thank you.. I'll be gone in a few hours or less. "
S: " Yeah I did notice how tired your voice sounds. "
...
J: " So.. how long have you been wanting to kiss me for? " (help again-)
S: " Before the audio, definitely. "
J: " Aww. I'm sorry for everything.. the pain, the worry, you got stuck in a ditch with me while I was being problematic.. "
S: " I don't think that was problematic. But, I forgive you. I know it isn't you to say stuff like that. "
J: " Thanks, Sean.. "
S: " Hug? "
J: " Of course. "
They hugged again, for longer. It could be the last hug Jake could ever experience.
J: " Do big things. Do what your heart wants. I will be there every step of the way. I will be cheering you on every single second. I will wait for however long it takes to be with you again. I will watch how you grow and improve. I will watch every mistake and every accomplishment. I will just.. cheer you on. "
S: " Jake... I don't think I'll ever be able to move on.. "
J: " I know you'll be able to move on, okay? Find another person to share your life with, be happy. "
S: " I won't move on. I could never. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find happiness for awhile after this, if any. (This is too cringe I can't-)
J: " No.. You will! " (HELP-)

They sat in silence for a moment. It was strange to Sean.. All too strange to think about his friend like this. Too strange to know he will never see his friend again after this day. Just that thought was enough to break Sean's heart into a trillion pieces. His eyes started flowing out even more...
S: " I don't want you to go.. I need you.. I can't imagine life without you.. I need you to be here with me.. "
J: " Sean.. Sean you don't- "
S: " Why can't we just swap places? I don't want you to die! You've gone through so much this past month... "
J: " And I put myself into this situation. Sean it's okay. I'll meet you in the end of all this. "
S: " I-I know b-but.. but I'll miss you! "
He notices how tired the peach haired boy looks. He suddenly feels guilty.
S: " I'm sorry.. I'm tiring you out. "
J: " No no, life is tiring me out, and everything that comes along with it. You never tired me out, Sean. "
S: " Thank you Jake... Thank you for everything.. "
J: " Thank you too.. "
Jake's hospital door slowly opens. Jake's Mom peeks her head through. She walks over to the left side of Jake's bed. Tears are running down her face nonstop, even when she tries to stop them.
JM: " Doctor says you have a few minutes.. "
The boy looks at his Mother.
J: " A few.. minutes? " He starts to cry along with her.
...
J: " To be honest, I never thought this would be happening. It never wrapped around my head when everyone was saying their Goodbyes. "
His eyes start flowing tears too. His voice sounds tired and cracked. He never truly thought this moment would happen.
S: " Do you want us to stay with you until you're ready to go..? "
Jake nods. He doesn't say anything, he just nods.
JM: " Alright, we'll stay with you.. I love you Jakey. "
J: " I-I love you too, Mom. "
He turns his head to Sean.
J: " I love you, Sean. "
S: " I love you as well, Jake Sterling.. "
...
JM: " You look awfully tired and in pain.. "
...
JM: " You can.. rest now if you'd like.. "
Jake's eyes widen a tiny bit.
J: " Mom.. "
He looks at her. His eyes look extremely tired.
J: " Thanks Mom.. Thanks Sean... Thank you two, for everything. And I just love you both so much... "

He fell asleep a few minutes later, he was so tired. He couldn't carry on anymore.

Jake's Mom was holding his hand and crying into it as she heard the long beep of his machine. Sean was trying his best not to burst out into sobs and tears but it happened, faster than anyone could know. He dug his face into the Jacket that Jake gave him and cried into that very heavily. He hugged his Jake for the last time, for a long time.. The two people Jake loved most were sitting there at his death bed, crying over him as he was no longer there with them anymore...
